Took my car in for a simple oil change and they presented a diagnostic report I didn't ask for. Next thing you know my car is completely out of commission. Got a second opinion from another mechanic and ran a diagnostic report and was told they found metal shavings in my car. The motor in my car is now shot. The car was running very quietly and smoothly and now it doesn't run period. I would need to get a whole engine replacement for close to $6000. Got a third opinion from the actual dealership and was told it would be close to impossible for the engine (motor or transmission) to fail as the technology built in my car prevents the engine from crashing like that. Audi said "we never see our Audi's come in for engine problems like this ever. Someone must have tampered with your car especially when it was running smoothly." I'm in the process of getting a full diagnosis report from Audi. In the end, I might have to do a voluntary repo because I owed $9,000 left on it. I support 6 people in my house and now we may be without a car. I will never trust a local mechanic again. read more

Got a much needed (slightly overdue) oil change. Called about 10 places in the area, and this place had the best price by far. I have a BMW and was being quoted between $80 and $115. I got my oil changed at Fairway Auto for $60. I was able to get an appointment within 24 hours and the service was excellent! Shay was very personable. I had an appointment at 10:30, and when I arrived they were busy with another customer. They didn't take my car back until about 10-15 minutes later, but finished my oil change within the time I was quoted, so I was very pleased. Plus, while I waited, Carol sat and chatted with me, which helped the time fly by. Carol was wonderful to talk to and so very nice. It's a great little mom-and-pop shop. It definitely feels like a place where they treat you like family. I will be coming back here for my next oil change. Most definitely. read more

personally i had a bad experience. called in to have a clicking sound in my car fixed, was recommended to fix and replace axles, and after everything was paid, Mike himself admitted that it was not necessary to replace the axles. no refund offered. flash forward 6 months later today, looks like the axle seal was never actually sealed so there's a leak. another $350 down the drain. maybe an oil change they can do but this has turned out to be very unnecessarily expensive. read more

An outstanding job was done the other day on my 330i. I was here about half a month ago to install new my new bumper and headlights due to an accident.The minute Mike installed the headlights and found errors Mike personally texted me about the issue. Just the other day I was back at the shop to reinstall headlights that were shipped straight to Fairway Auto Center. Mike was able to install the headlights rapidly. When the installation was finally finished (note that I was also given a lender car to use free of charge) Mike tells me the installation was also on the House! you can read my previous review. Nothing has changed, continued to be top notch mechanic repair shop. Its also worth noting that my car had an oxygen censor that was out and I got it replaced a few months ago, when it went out again, they replaced it at no charge! They admitted that it was the same one, apparently a defective sensor, so no problem at all at replacing it. I have NOT ever had a repair shop that is so willing to back up their warranty like that!
