This is the first plaza…read moreencountered on the Mass Pike, making it reasonably busy due to the traffic merging from I-87, Taconic State Parkway, NY Route 22, and I-90 from the New York State Thruway. Our experience here has never been a massive issue for us. The plaza is big, offering McDonald's, Papa Ginos and D'Angelos in the same space, Fresh City, and Pretzal Gourment. Plenty of seating exists, specifically in a section where the skylight is. In addition, outdoor seating is also offered during the appropriate season. The bathroom, for the most part, is in decent shape, but there are minor issues with the sink, soap dispenser, and blow dryer not working. Thankfully, this was never an issue every time. This is the place to stop, take a rest, and stretch.

The owner gave me a heads up about the new men's location at 610 Warren -- she also gave killer recommendations for places to eat in the area. The men's location was a blast to browse. A small but well-curated selection of CDG, Yohji, Issey Miyake, Gucci -- and even newer stuff from Noah. The owner there (they're a husband-wife duo) was super charming and friendly. Highly recommended for any menswear / streetwear / vintage fashion heads!

On the left - The outside portion of the plaza is just a mess, the store owner has clothing and misc. items strung out everywhere in pack-rat fashion. Customers can't even go inside the building because he hasn't organized anything yet. The only area to shop is in the parking lot in front of the warehouse section of the building. All he has for sale is clothing that should be tossed year ago, broke-down furniture, a few lamps, a couple of shelves, misc. pieces of scrap metal, some odd-ball books like David Letterman's Mom's Cookbook, and bags of coconut that were expired 6-years ago; how is this even a store?? On the Right - The store is inside the building and run by an older woman. She does a great job on keeping the store organized and clean. We found a few notable items here such as the antique metal Delco fan, The Monster Energy Epiphone guitar, a variety of well-made bowie knives and machetes, the selection of military bags and gear, several pieces of artwork, a small bar with seating, and two vintage blown Santa's. We didn't find anything we couldn't live without this time around but don't let that stop you from checking them out if you are shopping in the area. I would visit again next time I'm back in town.

Hundreds (maybe a thousand!) 150-200 year old decorated stoneware crocks and jugs. I've been in the antique business for 24 years and its the largest collection of stoneware, I have ever seen. But once you take your eyes off of the amazing stoneware collection, you realize that this shop has so much more. Quality primitive furnishings, 19th century art and iron. They also have an amazing second floor where its entirely possible to still find great pieces. If you are looking for just the right piece for your new older upstate house, I highly recommend this friendly family run place. After driving from group shop to collectible shop to super over curated (over priced) shops, this well stocked quality store was a great find - skip driving around to mediocre shops and beeline straight to an antique shop the way upstate antiquing used to be!
