I sent pictures of weeds to be pulled on a small front garden and around the tree surrounding the building. I was quoted a reasonable rate and Hired Fairfield Landscape. They confirmed a date they will work on the weeding. That afternoon, I messaged and they said that there was a lot of people and traffic out and that they would go in a few days. When I followed up again, he raised his price because he said he had to go to the property twice! Not sure what that was about. The building is located in a residential area without a lot of of cars and foot traffic.. I told him that it's not my fault that he didn't work on the weeds the first time he drove by so he discounted the raised price and we agreed. Of course, a few days goes by and the weeds are still there. Just not my type of people I like to deal with. If you say you're gonna do something do it. If you think you charged too low, then just tell me that, but what a waste of time. read more

What a flake. Scheduled an appt at 11:00 am then called and said he was running late and would be there at 2. Then he called again and said he would be there at 4.... I told him not to bother. THEN he called back after completing upsetting and said he could get there at 2 after all. At this point I didn't believe him so canceled. He does not seem professional or reliable. read more

Recommend for turf installation! Randy and his team did a good job of removing our old sod, prepping and installing turf in our backyard. We're happy with it and felt like pricing was pretty reasonable. The job only took about 2-3 days as well so that was a plus. My advice to this business though is to be more accurate with their estimates. We were initially quoted one price but by the end of the job it went up. We didn't complain too much because it was still within budget and we were happy but just something to keep in mind. read more

I hired Fairfield Landscaping after the owner, Randy, promised to remove the weeds in my yard by hand at the root and spray. The worker who came weedwhacked my yard and said he didn't have spray with him. After this I called, Randy, the owner again, who promised to pull the weeds by hand at the root and spray for free the next time. After the weedwhack the weeds came right back worse than before. I talked to Randy several times giving him the chance to fix it before I wrote a bad review. After a month's time I called him back to schedule. He went on and on telling me how it was impossible to remove the weeds at the root and what a good job the worker who weedwhacked always does. I realized Randy was not going to do what he initially said or try to fix anything with me. I ended up hiring someone else. The money I spent with Fairfield Landscaping went down the drain. My best advise is not to trust these people. They will lie to get your business and are not interested in being a reputable company. read more

I'll make this one quick and simple. I contacted the company to remove some weeds in my front yard. I sent him pictures which he gave me a quote of "around $100". I would think he would want to see in person to give an accurate estimate but I decided to give this business a chance although some of the reviews were not good at all. I sent him my address and responded the next day saying my address did not show on Google maps of all sources. So I sent him a screenshot of the address and declined the service respectfully. Don't think I can trust someone to do a good job that can't find an address with all the ways technology offers. read more

Red flags galore. Maybe they're better at installing turf but for lawncare maintenance they are like most around our area. Couldn't get on the same page before the initial quote, so I couldn't imagine the work they would do. Unfortunately for us, not worth the risk. read more

I reached out Randy first about the issue since this is a new business and I was trying to give him a chance to correct the issue but after sharing the pictures and discussing over the phone. He complained that it wasnt worth his time and money to fix since he only made $1000 on job when he originally quoted me $800 and ran out of supplies in the middle of working and asked me to pay more. We also discussed working on maintaining the yard monthly and he ghosted after the setup of mulch. Months later grass started growing through the rocks and mulch. He used a porus material underneath instead of the plastic lined weed blocker other gardners used. He said its never been a problem before and Instead of apologizing he blamed it on me and said i must of had a gopher or something. I am in theheart of downtown in a mostly concrete area... There is nothing but office buildings in this area. I will have to pay someone to do his work over again by the spring. Totally disappointing experience. read more
