Needing a new set of tires and wanting to get it over with i picked this location after having a…read morefew things fixed here before. They talked me into getting it done right away. That was actually a good thing, despite my hatred for people who force sell products. They were friendly and explained my dire need for new tires.. It's an easy sell when you talk about car tires and footwear. I just love shoes . Anyway my times spent in the lobby w jenn was fun despite the uncomfortable chairs. But then again it's what is expected. Gino our service person was giving us a play by play of what was going on and needed done. He had personality and charisma, and his knowledge helped us with our tire selection. He also noticed I had a brake light out. Good thing the didn't notice I didn't want to from the police. Overall we are going to come back to get my car aligned and weighted once the tires settle. Stop by and see the guys.

I got in the drive through line to purchase tires at 3:30 pm, and at their 5:30 closing time, I'm…read morestill sitting here waiting behind a car who has been here longer than me. (Since we got here at 3:30, only two cars have gone inside for tires.) I went into the shop to let the cashier know that a black car cut in line in front of five others who had been waiting for hours. He shrugged and said he knew; they (supposedly) had been waiting inside (which makes absolutely no sense). There is no organization; people can cut without repercussions, and staff couldn't care less. I will never, ever be back. Update at 5:44 pm: the young man who just came to talk to me was super nice! I need to mention him because he is an awesome employee who looks no older than 20. He is trying to take care of me, and I appreciate HIM immensely (not the rest of this experience).

When I called them to make an appointment, although the price increased, they still charged me the original quoted price. They didn't have to do it but they did and I'm truly grateful. I was in and out, back on the road in what seemed like minutes with new tires. To add, their prices bear out everyone else I called. It's the kindness of these guys that will bring me back.

Brought 2 of our vehicles here to have the tires swapped. A few minutes after arriving they told us…read morethey couldn't swap them because they were all wheel drive vehicles and tires were different sizes (going from an acadia to explorer). My husband and I have both worked in the auto industry do we already the tire sizes were able to be swapped, and for that matter both our vehicles are front wheel drive! My husband asked to see the vehicles while they were in the air (to double check), and sure enough FWD. He asked the girl who checked us in if she could just let tech know to double check before they give customers wrong info. She pulled the tech aside and told us tell him yourself, so my husband did. Tech had nothing to say except "ok" and gave him a dirty look. There was no "hey we were wrong we apologize"... just nothing. When cars were done my husband tried to tell the tech have a good day and he walked away and didnt even acknowledge him. We came here because ive been a customer in the past and never had an issue. 1. Not having the knowledge to know the difference between AWD and FWD - not good if youre in the vehicle repair business. 2. Not offering any kind of apology when it was YOUR mistake, just bad manners. 3. Walking away and not acknowledging a customer who was polite but pointed out your mistake and told you that you were wrong - unprofessional. We wont be back.

Pep Boys - this is after they admitted there was an oil leak and fixed it today.

My appointment was for 1 PM, I didn't leave there until about 5 PM, so it definitely took a long time. When I got there, Sean was at the desk and helped me get set up with the car. Went through the oil change and costs with me and we discussed the brakes. I told him the issues we were having, and he was going to check them out. The oil change took little over an hour. Sean then came to tell me we needed all four pads and rotors replaced and what it was going to cost, which was about $1400. I asked him if we would be better off buying the parts and doing it ourselves, and he said with the cost of parts today, probably not. So I gave them the green light. I went to Mizu and was talking to my dad about the cost who informed me that I was being screwed out of money. So I looked up some of the parts and looked like a lonely psychopath sitting by myself in Mizu crying eating a sushi roll because life loves hitting us with big costs one after another. So, I went back over to Sean to talk about this. I asked him to print me a slip showing exactly what I'm paying for, which he very kindly did. He was very transparent with the costs and labor. The problem was with pep boys prices. They quite literally marked up one rotor more than 100%. I showed him the exact part on the internet, and how I'm being charged $400 in markups on just the rotors. Sean helped me very patiently for quite a while. He went through all the costs with me and answered every one of my questions. I kept offering to let other people go in front of me, but he declined that. Sean did literally everything he could to help me out with cost today which I am incredibly thankful for. He dropped costs everywhere he could. At the end of it, with all of the discounts, we still paid about $450 in labor and markups. Both Sean and Jason were absolutely great and very helpful, and I was happy to have dealt with them. If you don't care about cost, I'd definitely recommend this place. However this can be done for a lot cheaper on your own or probably in a more personal shop instead of a chain. If they didn't already start the work, I would have just left and had my fiancé do it. But what was done was done, so learning lesson for me and hopefully for whoever reads the reviews. Jason and Sean, thanks again for all of your help today! Appreciate you guys!
