I DO NOT recommend anyone going to this dry cleaners. Recently I dropped off a bunch of clothes to…read morethem and when I picked them up the next day, I saw that my dress pants were completely ruined. 1 of the pants had a burn mark and an iron imprint. The 2nd and 3rd pant had indentations of the inside material all over, which meant they kept the temperature on their iron too high. The next day, I went to the dry cleaners and showed all the markings on each pant to the guy that was working there. He seemed to be someone of importance because when I asked to speak with the manager, he was brought out. I told the guy that I got these pants dry cleaned at a dry cleaners located in downtown Chicago, and at that point, none of these markings were there. Then after wearing them to work, I gave them to Lux Cleaners and now all of these markings are there. I also informed him that each pant cost me roughly $40 to buy and now they are completely ruined. The guy had absolutely nothing helpful to say. Instead, he laughed at me and said that I created these markings. He basically thought I was there to con them into giving me some money back. I was stunned at his behavior and told him that instead of apologizing to him, he is insulting me. I also told him that I could care less about the money and if he had apologized to me then this situation would have been resolved, instead he just lost my business. I hope this message reaches many people in the surrounding area as I have high hopes that no one experiences what I experienced. Lux Cleaners is a horrible dry cleaners and they will NEVER admit when they have bad a mistake. They think we are all criminals, trying to get them to give us some money back. I would NEVER trust them with any of my clothes every again.
