The place is nice inside with room outside for sitting. The floor is suitable for dancing with a fully stocked bar. They do take cash, Apple Pay and credit cards.

We decided to find a place in the area that had live music and Tin Roof came up. We walked in and the place had a decent crowd but not busy. I walked up to the bar and saw they only had domestic beer on tap so asked if they had any N/A options for my buddy and if they had any IPA's for me. The unwarranted shitty attitude of the bartender was as if I asked him to make me a long island iced tea with a line of 30 people at the bar. It was just me and I simply wanted him to give me a can of beer. He gave a snide remark about it being a bar when I asked about the N/A options and just gave me an IPA in a can from Good People brewing. I guess that's the only one they had, or he just decided it's what I was getting. The beer was good, but I wanted to see my options. We sat in the courtyard and listened to the 1-man band, aka a guy with a guitar. He played a variety of stuff and was decent. The courtyard was a decent place to chill. I went back to get another beer and asked if they had any different IPA's, I got an eye roll and a nope. I decided to bounce. I didn't want to hang out with Captain Douchepickle the bartender anymore. The place was fine, and if the dipshit isn't working, I am sure it would be better.

We were forced to wait almost 2 hours in line outside the bar and when my group of 8 got in the place was half empty. There were a lot of people in line with us that eventually gave up trying to get in and just left to go elsewhere. Once inside the empty bar we were treated very rudely by t he staff. We were repeatedly forced to move our group of patrons who were drinking and trying to enjoy the night out. Apparently they don't want people standing inside the bar. We were made to feel unwelcome solely because we were standing. We later found out the rude staff member that forced us to move multiple times was one of the owners. Please keep in mind we were spending money but decided to leave after being there for a short while. If I could give this review 5 negative stars I would. This place is a joke!!! Stay away. There are other bars in Birmingham that know how treat a customer. Horrible bar!!!!

I wish I could give zero stars for the experience I had at Alibis Bar & Tapas this past weekend…read more This was my first time visiting, and I was there celebrating with friends who had reserved a section. The evening started off smoothly, but as the night progressed, the venue became extremely crowded and congested. At one point, I went to the restroom, which was close to our section. As I exited and made my way back through the crowd, an interaction occurred with two young women, and before I knew it, I was physically attacked. By the time security arrived, the women had left the area, and I was the one escorted out through the back door. Regardless of what may have been said or misunderstood in the crowd, being physically attacked should never be the outcome of a night out. What was especially disappointing was how the situation was handled afterward. I left feeling like I was treated as the problem rather than someone who had just been assaulted. I understand that crowded nightlife environments can be challenging to manage, but safety and proper handling of incidents involving guests should be a priority. Unfortunately, my first experience at Alibis was one I will not forget, and not for a good reason. I would not feel comfortable returning.

The bartender wasn't friendly... she had my aunts drink sitting in ice for a while before finishing it and she gave a little attitude when asked to redo it. I'd go back if opportunity presents itself the next time I'm in town because my aunt said she goes there regularly and maybe it was a less than stellar service night.

The show was supposed to start at 9:30 pm, but it didn't start until around 10:15 pm. I understand things can happen so I'm going to give them a little grace this time. We ordered drinks, wings, and fries. The food was great! I believe it came from Sleek. The drinks were good. As for the entertainment, it was phenomenal! We definitely enjoyed ourselves and we would go back.
