From the themed drink menu, retro 80s vibe, food truck it gives you everything you need in a bar. The bartender Eric can make anything you think of. He is a true mixologist. I've never had good seasoned, clean tasting collard greens at a restaurant. My husband ordered the Rasta pasta that came with shrimp, chicken, and sausage. It was seasoned with its spices to perfection. Let's just say we shared each other's food. LOL I highly recommend Casanova and will be back to experience their weekend brunch.

It does have a club feel so if you don't like loud music I wouldn't recommend. I only ordered the bacon and gouda grits side, they tasted pretty good. I would say that the grits were a little thick I prefer mine looser, they were on a plate instead of bowl but adding butter made it better. I also had an espresso martini and it had a nice cocoa flavor, I hope to be able to try the frozen espresso martini. They said they don't always have it so it's a hit or mess with being able to try. One of the people in my party had the fried snapper and allowed me to try it. The batter was really seasoned so it was extremely good in the future I would want to have that for my meal. The service was nice but overall it was a little slow. When it is time to pay be sure to look over your receipt not sure if it's due to our group being large or in general but the gratuity was automatically added. I didn't realize this so when it was all said and done I ended tipping nearly 50% on my ticket. Overall I will say if invited I would go again, I'm curious to see how the experience is with a smaller group. **Also wanted to mention the patio was not open YET but they did say it will be open for summer, so if volume is a deterrent you might be able to enjoy the food and drinks with less volume.**

We love bars that we can bring outside food in to while we get our drink on and this bar is in a perfect location to take advantage of the 3 restaurants within walking distance!! We decided to find a place in the area that had live music and Tin Roof came up. We walked in and the place had a decent crowd but not busy. I walked up to the bar and saw they only had domestic beer on tap so asked if they had any N/A options for my buddy and if they had any IPA's for me. The unwarranted shitty attitude of the bartender was as if I asked him to make me a long island iced tea with a line of 30 people at the bar. It was just me and I simply wanted him to give me a can of beer. He gave a snide remark about it being a bar when I asked about the N/A options and just gave me an IPA in a can from Good People brewing. I guess that's the only one they had, or he just decided it's what I was getting. The beer was good, but I wanted to see my options. We sat in the courtyard and listened to the 1-man band, aka a guy with a guitar. He played a variety of stuff and was decent. The courtyard was a decent place to chill. I went back to get another beer and asked if they had any different IPA's, I got an eye roll and a nope. I decided to bounce. I didn't want to hang out with Captain Douchepickle the bartender anymore. The place was fine, and if the dipshit isn't working, I am sure it would be better.

They have multiple seating options; the first floor has booths that can accommodate smaller and large groups. The bar area is very inviting and fun to be able to watch your drinks being made and upstairs offers a more private area. When not seated at the bar they do have someone to come around to make sure you have what you need. The servers are very nice and tend to remember you, which is a great feeling. The menu rotates seasonally, which makes it easier to try new things. My favorite menu item so far has been the cheeseball that was on the menu around Christmas time. It had a great flavor served with crackers the only thing is when we came back after the first of the year it wasn't on the menu anymore. On my most recent visit I had the queso which also had great flavor, served with blue corn tortilla chips. When it comes to the drinks I like how on the menu they let you know how strong it is using toucans. Many of the drinks feature rum, but they do still offer some gin and tequila options. Everything I've had has been good and something I would try again. I would like to note that many of the drinks are fruity and can be somewhat sweet. At Christmas time they even had holiday themed drinkware which I felt was a nice touch. If you are not a drinker, they also have options for mocktails. Which has been great for me the last couple of months. I didn't care for the Phony Negroni, but I think Negroni itself might be an acquired taste
