So I have been going to Faces and Lashes for going on 2 years now and when the owner and my lash stylist, the lovely Lovella, decided to expand her knowledge and business and go back to school, I got transferred over to Cynthia. Now let me tell you I was skeptical and a little scared because I was comfortable and happy with my lashes all the time. Cynthia and I got off to a rocky start because I have super thin/short lashes and we were having trouble getting them to stay. But Cynthia figured it out somehow and worked her magic using different techniques and now my lashes look better than ever. The space has a very clean and welcoming environment, including a waiting room with tv, water, and candy. The staff is very professional and understand my wants. I didn't even have an appointment but she texted me when she had a cancellation and I was able to get in the SAME day which other salons usually don't fill cancellation spots I've learned, the room is cozy and Sarah did an amazing and graceful job, I almost fell asleep that's how gentle she was, I highly reccomend, I only spent $70 on a full set of volume lashes! I suffer from acne & pretty painful hormonal breakouts, so I scheduled an appointment with Berenicé. She is the most informative esthetician I have ever come across and the facial she gave me worked miracles. Not only did I not breakout as normal but my skins texture was so smooth unlike I've ever had. If I could give faces and lashes a zero for customer service, I absolutely would. I had to write this review because I received terrible customer service from Lovella. I used to go to her about a year ago. One day, I went to get my lashes done and she was going through something personal. I had taken my lashes off to get them done. When I got there, she tried to say that my lashes were not strong enough for lashes that day, which was not the truth. I felt some type of way so I questioned her and asked if it was really that or because she "just didnt want to do them"? She later said she was going through some personal issues and just did not have time to do them. I left very upset and felt that her customer service was poor. I scheduled a follow up appointment with her. After I left, she sent me a text referring me to other lash places because she said that she was no longer going to do lashes. She lied! I was going on a trip so I wanted to verify if I can still go to my scheduled appointment. I ended up going to the appointment and she had a really bad attitude when she did my lashes. I never went back to her again and will never go back! She was really rude, unprofessional and had terrible customer service. She also lied because clearly she is still doing lashes. I found a new lash place that I love and treats their customers well. I thought I would write this review in case anyone else runs into this issue with her. I would never refer anyone to her. Your response below shows how unaccountable and unprofessional that you are. Word of mouth means referrals. First time to have ever gotten eyelash extensions and loved it! Lovella did my lashes, and she's amazing at what she does. She takes her time, and makes sure that client is content and happy with the final result of her craft. She's very open and really communicates with her clients! I was so afraid of getting extensions because of horror stories Ive heard, but when I saw what she did on her niece Jessica, it convinced me, so I just went for it! And I dont regret doing it :) They feel so natural, despite of having full volume lashes :) Now I dont even do my eye makeup anymore, my lashes make me look made up already! Which is a life saver, especially when I have to meet clients at 4am! Thank you Lovella for doing such a great job! I have been going to this place ever since it opened and have been with Lovella as my lash artist for over 4-5 years. She is very professional and is very good at what she does. First of all, she gets booked really fast (because thats how good she is, all her clients just keep coming back!) so you want to keep your appointments. Her salon is very clean and she is very organized when it comes to putting your lashes. She also does your individual lashes perfectly and will make sure you are satisfied with the way you look. She is also very understanding and will even make time for you if you really need lashes. There are times that she is really booked but if a cancelation comes up, she calls or text me right away to let me know that she can do my lashes. My Lashes always look beautiful and natural. Sarah was the one who did my the extensions and she answered every question I had over the care I needed for them.
