Overall, the lack of customer service and poor atmosphere make this a place I would not recommend. When I arrived, I was the one who suggested modifying or changing my service so as not to inconvenience other customers. Regarding the neck pillow you described as "herbal," it did not have a pleasant or herbal scent like Zheng Gu Shui or Ling Nam. It smelled damp, as if it had been left in the washing machine without being properly dried. I understand that Valentine's Day is a busy time. However, professionalism and courteous communication are especially important during peak times. If you hope to retain current and future customers, I believe improving in these areas would make a meaningful difference.

Had rhinoplasty…read moresurgery with Dr.John Farella (Plastic Surgeon) years ago and started getting debilitating sinus headaches for years afterward. Never had any such issues prior to the surgery. In addition to that I had several structural issues that were extremely noticable including a retracted nostril, a dent on one side of my nose, and another dent above that, all which were on one side of my nose. My tip had two bulbs on it, one on the left, one on the right. Horrific result. This time I went to NYC to a top surgeon to have it fixed. He ordered a CT scan and the results of it were scary. It showed my sinus cavity on the right side was completely black. Black, as in no structures could be seen within that side. The surgeon told me, he would do his best to correct the structural issues, but that given the complex nature of my sinus issues & CT scan result, I would need to have a second surgeon work on my sinus issues. For my revision surgery I had to have two doctors work to fix what they could. I learned after this surgery that Farella had butchered my internal structures. I had every issue you could imagine. Deviated septum, turbinate issues, and a few others that were all the cause of my terrible sinus headaches for years. Farella's website says he corrects anyone with these issues, from my experience I know that to be absolutely false, and in fact he caused these issues for me. After I saw the prominent surgeon in NYC the outward appearance was improved, but not able to be fixed. As far as my sinuses are concerned I have to deal with congestion and runny nose on a regular basis, they will never be the same again. It is one thing to make a minor mistake as a doctor, but it is an issue of character to cause permanent harm to your patients medically. To intentionally suture up your patient on the operating table knowing that you are leaving them with a deviated septum (that is very easy to see) and other issues, which he knows would cause pain to that patient at some point in the future. I wouldn't only avoid rhinoplasty with this Farella. Since the issue of character is the most disturbing part, I warn others to not choose this surgeon for any procedure.

Many of the reviews recount horror stories of missing their appointments due to being marginally late so I literally arrived 20 min early to avoid that issue. I wanted to go to CVS but I wasn't about to take any chances. I walked into the place at a socially acceptable five minutes early and the lady at the desk wasn't nearly as scary as others have suggested in prior reviews. I would actually go as far as to say she was a standard amount of friendly. I was pleased to be taken early with essentially no waiting. The girl who did my waxing was very nice as well and chatted me up during the whole thing which helped the time pass. In contrast to my previous wax place, they use this purple hard wax which I rather like. It went very quickly and was minimally painful. The only reason for the four stars is because I did notice some patches that were missed later on but, full disclosure, she gave me an opportunity to evaluate her work before leaving and I trusted everything was good enough. When I arrived, I was told my appointment had never actually been changed and was still listed for an earlier time. Instead of trying to fix the situation, I was simply told they couldn't take me. There was no real attempt to accommodate me, squeeze me in, offer a coupon, or make up for the inconvenience. I was offered another appointment on a different day even after explaining that I was leaving for vacation shortly and today was my only opportunity. This location is not close to my house, so I wasted my time and gas driving there for nothing. What made it even more frustrating was the lack of empathy. I left feeling like my time didn't matter. Unfortunately, this isn't even my first scheduling issue with this location, and I've had friends experience scheduling problems there as well. At this point, the service feels inconsistent and unprofessional. Ironically, I ended up finding a local waxing boutique that fit me in the same day, was much closer to home, and charged less than EWC. That made me realize there's no reason for me to keep driving out of my way and paying more when there are businesses that provide better customer service. I won't be returning to this location, and I wouldn't recommend it based on my experience.
