Every haircut I've had in the last year was great up until my most recent cut with a guy I haven't…read moretried yet. He (Ray?) was really awkward the whole time we were talking in the session. I asked for a medium skin fade with an inch chopped off at the top. This man proceeds to shave my hair into a BUZZ CUT. At that point, I was too traumatized to throw a fit ON VALENTINE'S DAY. I'm pretty sure the other barber, Kylie, could see I wasn't feeling so hot about this cut. Unfortunately, it was too late for me to try to salvage the cut into something I wanted, so I will just try to live with this buzz cut because at least I'm still not ugly. I've attached a photo of the cut I usually get. Communicate with your stylist and show them pictures of what you want, over and over just so that you're on the same page. Be more vocal when they're not doing what you want. I really wish that I was honest about how much I hated this haircut that ruined Valentine's Day for me. Lesson learned. I'm never getting a haircut from Ray (think that's his name) again.

I'll just show up to his shop." Ask soon as I opened his door, I saw Jay cutting someone else's hair. I asked him if he's doing walk-ins and he said no. The conversation didn't end there! Jay stopped what he was doing and He told me that he has an opening at 6am!! ::side note:: never met a barber that cut hair at 6am!! Long story short he set me up immediately and put me in his books for 6am the next day! Not only is Jay the best barber in LA, but his customer service is beyond what I've ever experienced!
