Gino and his crew at Fabulous Roofing just completed the installation of a new roof over our existing one on a Park Slope brownstone which was causing leaks from front to back. The job was made more difficult by the existence of a large roof deck, the flooring of which had to be removed so that the workmen might be able to get at the roof underneath. No problem: for a reasonable price, considerably less than other roofers had given me if they would even entertain removing the wood flooring that had proved to be an impediment, Gino had his men remove and, as agreed upon, subsequently dispose of the existing deck floor. The entire job took two days, with the men working carefully but quickly and cleanly, leaving me entirely satisfied with the job they had performed. They were, well, Fabulous. And at a price that was more than reasonable. We must have had six or seven roofing companies, look at our roof and give us estimates, but Gino and Fabulous exceeded our expectations. Gino always returned my calls promptly and showed admirable flexibility in scheduling our work. Our courtyard, where they lowered the old wood prior to trucking it away to be disposed of, was left almost spotless. I'm fairly handy myself and, as a lawyer and my father's son, picky, yet I have no reservations about recommending Gino and his team. Not to mention that he's a hell of a nice guy. read more

Gino provides excellent service at a reasonable price. He helped replaced my roof a few years ago. The roof got damaged by another contractor. Yet Gino came back and did a great job repairing it. Such wonder customer service is rare to find. We are very happy with his work! read more

Gino is fantastic! He answered my call while on vacation, followed up when he returned and showed up in the 2 hour window that was promised. He assessed the issue and fixed it within 20 minutes. So quick and helpful - we have our permanent roofing person in Gino! Couldn't be happier and would highly recommend. read more

Gino is very honest and pleasure to meet with. He gave me good advice.

Gino responded quickly. His team showed up on time after weather improved. They were pleasant, efficient and gave a guarantee. They inspected roof and leak to insure all cracks were sealed. So fast and removed all debris husband did not realize they had finished. Great work. Thanks. read more

Update: after 6-years of NYC weather, I called Gino to inspect my roof after noticing some wear and tear at one small area (edge) of my roof. Gino was exactly how I remembered him: professional, responsive, and communicative. He came over this afternoon, and took care of the areas that were of concern to me. I highly recommend Gino for your roofing repairs and maintenance. Do not hesitate to contact this professional. He warranty's his work, and today when I called, he answered. read more

So I know it seems unbelievable that a company could have this many 5 star reviews ... and it would usually make me second guess and think they were bought and fake ... but after using Ginno we totally believe it! We were recommended to Ginno by some neighbors. And it was the best decision we made! We met with 3 other roofers, and he was the most professional. He wasn't the cheapest but he was offering more for what he was charging, so in the end was definitely the most reasonable. Plus he sent a detailed estimate, and guaranteed his work... which the other guys wouldn't do! We just had him back for a new leak we had on our balcony (sorta like a second roof) - and didn't hesitate for a minute to call Ginno back in. This time we didn't even think to shop around. My husband and I were just saying, we've dealt with a lot of people for our house and so far Ginno is the only one that we actually trust. We wish he was a general contractor cuz we still need someone to do everything else... read more

We found Fabulous Roofing through an internet search and I am so glad we did! Gino and his crew were very quick to respond and definitely knew what needed to be done to solve a rather serious leak on our terrace. We have since had a few good rainstorms and no signs of the leak! The crew is super friendly and did a great job! Will definitely use them if we have any future roofing needs! Highly recommend! read more

We had an ongoing problem with a leaking roof. Gino gave a reasonable price to replace a huge skylight that was old and rusted. He also reinforced our roof to fix a problem that a previous roofer did not do well. He was the most professional and honest person I've ever worked with. He seemed to honestly want to help solve the problem, even if it didn't deal directly with what he came to fix. He made sure that our roof did not leak again and even followed up days later to make sure the job was well done. Highly recommend this company to anyone! read more

This is a real review, and I'd imagine the others are because as with others, Gino also gave me options to save my flat brownstone roof in its current iteration with some patching, and told me it would indeed last me about 3-5 more years, or tear the whole thing out and replace it brand new. To prove he knew what he was talking about, it told me exactly how old my roof was just by looking at it, and he was right!! This guy knows roofs. And it was apparent as he took me on a tour to show me where the problem areas were. I am so used to being disappointed by contractors who come to Park Slope, and don't stand by their word. I couldn't believe how responsive and honest Gino was. His men were wonderful too. Six months later, I saw some buckling on the small roof on the one-room extension of our house. Gino came by, quoted me another great price for the job and was done in no time. Again, he and his workers were fast, clean, honest and just wonderful! read more

Gino is the absolute BEST roofer, so your search is over! He is passionate about his craft and it translates into the project. He and his team are very professional and provide high quality, top notch work. This along with their reasonable pricing was a winning combination for me. I reached out to Gino for an ongoing roof leak in my kitchen corner that couldn't be figured out. He came on very short notice, met with my father at my property and immediately corrected the problem the same day. He discussed long (replace) vs. short term (patch) options; never pushing anything on me. Hands down I would recommend him to anyone. There are a lot of dishonest, sub par people out there, so I was pleasantly surprised at this business interaction. No more leak, and I was not ripped off! read more

Great work. Keeps his appointments. Gino called late in the evening during a rain storm to make sure that there is no leak. Highly recommend. read more

This roofer is the best that I have ever worked with. He is efficient, responsible and a really good value. I am a small investor and have several properties in NYC and I am very experienced with all short of providers. Gino will be with no doubt my roofer for all my properties for now on. He came right away and gave me a very competitive bid on fixing a roof that was not renovated properly by a general contractor who have done a gut Reno at a property in Bedford Stuyvesant. He did a magnificent job in just one day. He was very clean and pleasant to work with. He also gave me a 15 year warranty!!! Very happy with the job. read more

Gino and his crew are one of the best repair shops around, bar none. From the moment we first communicated with him, we got the feeling that Gino was an honesty, capable person. He came over quickly and quickly diagnosed the situation with our roof - gave us a couple options for a fix, one cheaper and one more expensive and the upside/downside for each. We were pleasantly surprised that he was able to schedule the actual work within a week. We ended up going with a liquid silicone sealing of the entire roof and replacing the hatch. The work itself was exceptionally done. Gino actually went beyond the standard duty and did additional work such as patching up/painting the ceiling where the rain had caused some damage to the drywall. read more

Excellent communication. Gino is responsive and timely. He came by our home the same day we called for an estimate. He and his team work very thoughtfully and efficiently. He cares about his customers, and is concerned about keeping costs down. We will be using Gino and his team going forward for all of our roofing and gutter needs. read more

Fabulous Roofing was amazing again. They had done some work for me a few years ago and I have had no issues. Recently, I needed a new roof for a townhouse and Gino was still on point. He gave me a reasonable estimate for the work and I was not up-charged. He and his crew were professional and very neat. They observed All Covid-19 precautions and wore PPE. The work was high quality and looks amazing. If you need any roofing work I wouldn't hesitate to call Fabulous roofing for all your roofing needs. I highly recommend them. read more

Gino was incredible. He came to see our house after a few roofers told it needed to be replaced. Gino came and added rubber to the areas where the water was pooling. He replaced our shingles with new ones in less than a day and put covers on our Gutters. He came within 24 hours and replaced all of this for us. An absolutely professional, outstanding service. I was so happy I would recommend him a million times over. He really is a master in his craft. read more

Gino and his team are consummate professionals. They arrived on time, for both the estimate process and my skylight installation. I was given a competetive quote when other roofers thought the job was too small. I was encouraged to stay in touch, and, I believe he stands behind his work. read more

Gino and team were beyond fabulous. He was quick to respond, diligent and efficient in his work, and beyond courteous. He provided a detailed estimate on time and cost and stuck to both. He sealed our entire roof (in early 2020) to stop a leak and did a beautiful job. Over a year later, I called for help with an unrelated matter. He showed up within 24 hours, helped me with the issue, and would not accept any payment. A true Stand up professional with a kind demeanor. Wish every contractor were like Gino! read more

If you are looking for a highly professional roofing service look no further! Gino is very responsive and very professional, it was very easy to setup a meeting and after the meeting is was very clear to me what my options are, once we decided on a date Gino and his team didn't even have to go through the house, they did everything from the outside (3 stories up). The end result looks great and Gino made sure to follow up to make sure we are happy. Highly recommended! read more

My ceiling had a major leak on Saturday night, I found Gino using Yelp and gave him a call. He came out Sunday to check my roof and quickly identified the problem. He brought his crew shortly afterwards and fixed my roof for a very good price as compared to other roofing co's. Aside from the 15 year guarantee, he followed up weeks later to make sure that everything was in order. For quality work with competitive prices, Fabulous Roofing is the way to go. read more

Gino from Fabulous Roofing came out for an estimate the same day I called. I have a relatively small roof with several small sections for which he quoted separately so that I could have the work done section by section if needed. When he came to do the work the small crew completed the job within one day. They used top quality materials and reduced the overall number of seams as compared to the preexisting installation. Long story short, they did a better job than the previous roofer hired to install this roof. I would hire them again if I needed to, but I expect this roof to last a long time. read more

Super helpful and friendly. We had a leak that was hard to find the source of. He not only made sure to arrive before a rain storm, he quickly patched the leaks and gave an honest assessment of the state of the roof, future stages of repair and possible issue points. I will 100% be using him again. read more

I found Gino and Fabulous Roofing via Yelp and hired him because he had such stellar reviews. I had an emergency - a leak in my building and I wasn't sure where it was coming from. He came to check it out the next day, identified the issue with my roof, and then was able to fix it over the weekend. He did an amazing job, the leak is totally gone, and he gave me a 15 year warranty for any roof related issue. On top of that, he's one of the sweetest people I've ever met! Love Gino and Fabulous Roofing, would 100% hire them again. read more

Amazing Roofer! Great with communication, explained what he did. Professional, came in on time, worked quickly, and used high quality materials! While other roofers told me I needed to replace the gutter and roof completely, charging me an arm and a leg. Gino gave me a great solution for the repair of the roof and gutter. It was great to work with him and I highly recommend them. read more

Arranged for an appointment for 8/24/21 at 2 PM after a leaky skylight. Had to travel to another borough to the building, just two blocks from their listed business location. Waited hours beyond the appointed time and no show, no messages left, no nothing. Wasted my day. read more

I love my "guy" I call to do things but a roof is something else. So glad I was referred to Gino and Josh for a seemingly endless roof leaking issue. Josh did a thorough investigation of the roof and gave me workable options for repair. It was maybe 10 degrees out there but he didn't rush his evaluation. Josh came at the promised time and finished the job quickly and neatly. The seldom get those two together! I'm eagerly awaiting spring so they can put on a new roof! read more

Ginno and his team did some roof repair for us and did a fantastic job. It wasn't easy to find the leak and fix it up, but his team did it. It took a few attempts to close it out but they did it and throughout Ginno was very straightforward about what needed to happen, pricing etc. I've recommended him to others and he has done a great job with them too. Highly recommended read more

If you want an honest, fast, and reliable roofer, look no further than Gino's Fabulous Roofing. I originally contacted him so that I could get my skylight replaced and another one removed and sealed. His pricing was fair in comparison to other roofers and his candor and work ethic are impeccable. On the day of the install, he and his team did the job well, surveyed the rest of the roof to see if any seams needed to be repaired, cleaned up, and sent me all the pictures of the completed job before accepting any payment. Even with last minute leaks, Gino responded same day and was able to check our roof and discover a small seam had come loose near our chimney. He was able to complete the repair same day and even said he could stop by next week to reinforce it should we continue to experience leaks. I highly recommend working with Gino. Texting is the fastest method of reaching him. read more

I contacted Gino for a leaky gutter. Came to find out that was the wrong gutter for the house. He placed an order and had to wait over a month but that is how it is with supplies nowadays. When he picked up new gutter but he discovered it was 6 inches short. Instead of just doing patch work he let me know of the problem BEFORE starting the work and let me decide what I would prefer. Plus, drove around until he got the correct size. He did an outstanding job, no more leaks!! How outstanding is Gino? Some of the tar dripped on the top side of the stucco and he came by scrapped it off and painted it over! You don't get service like that anymore. I highly recommend him. read more
