Beyond the great finds, friendly faces, and dedicated volunteers, this little store plays a powerful role in caring for some of the most vulnerable people around us. Did you know that the proceeds from this shop help provide supportive care for frail, seriously ill seniors in our community, many of whom live alone with no family, no financial resources, and no one to stand by them at the end of life? Because of this mission, they receive companionship, dignity, and compassionate end-of-life support when they need it most. This store makes a real difference. It lifts up those who would otherwise have no one. It turns donated treasures into meaningful care. And it allows our community to show up for people who deserve dignity, comfort, and kindness. I'm grateful for what this store provides to our community - thank you to everyone that works & volunteers at the hospice resale shop- you make a difference!

But what happened over the last 2 months??? ------ No quality anything for sale?!? How can there be nothing on the shelves, racks, or even the front case that I want to even look at?? It was always a store that had great vintage jewelry, really nice sweaters, button up shirts, and every now and then real art! I have several small oil painting bought from there. It was true treasure hunting. It's all low quality everything now. Cheap brand new jewelry from China?? Is all the better stuff being sold online?? I know they still have vintage items donated. They've always had amazing stuff. I have many items that I've bought from there in the past. What a shame to see this beautiful local treasure go down in quality. I know many people love to shop there, so I will hope for improvements ... and that they can return to having a mix of good quality older and usable newer items for sale. It was always the best "thrift" store I knew of.... for so many years.

I understand that the parking is for in-store customers only. But the moment I stepped out of my car, a woman came running out of the store and started yelling at me, saying the parking was for those businesses only. I hadn't even walked away from my vehicle yet, and she had no idea where I was going. For context, I'm a Type 1 diabetic, and my blood sugar suddenly dropped very low. In that moment, I urgently needed food or I risked being unsafe to drive. My boyfriend was with me, but he isn't insured on my car and doesn't know how to drive a manual--and she still insisted that I make him take my car. On top of that, it's not safe for me to be walking around alone when my blood sugar is that low. I calmly explained the situation and told her I just needed a quick snack and would be back in under five minutes. Despite that, she showed zero empathy and continued yelling. At that point, my priority was my health and safety. I also didn't feel comfortable leaving my car unattended given her aggressive behavior. I waited a few days to write this, but as a Type 1 diabetic, this situation was genuinely scary and upsetting. This happened Saturday in the late afternoon. Situations like this deserve more understanding and basic human compassion. Please do better.

Clothes were scattered and falling off hangers when the store opened - I can expect this at the end of the day, but upon opening? Multiple pieces were stained, dirty, and a three pieces had rips/holes. The shoes were piled up in heaps, and are no longer organized by size so you have to look through every pair for your size. I don't mind overpaying when the experience is quality, but these clothes are WAY overpriced and it feels like Ross meets Salvation Army. You can do better.

As of Dec 2025, there is only one building and it focuses on clothes/shoes. Seems they've closed…read morethe houseware/art store and moved the clothing business into this building. While I like this place it is not a bargain- many items are priced high for second hand. Your best deals are for the high-end designer clothes and shoes. There are designer purses here too. The mid-range clothes are priced a little high in my opinion (most items were in the $39, $49, $59 range). However , this store is thoughtfully curated and organized and I appreciated this. Clothes are of good quality and nothing smells old. You will find unique pieces here. Staff was friendly. There is a bit of a snobby atmosphere here- less from the staff, more from the customers. If you are tired of buying plastic clothes (where acrylic is the first listed fiber) and want to find quality clothes with more natural fibers or at least a decent blend- come here. Nicely organized and merchandised store, unique items with good quality. If you want to sell- the house wins here for sure. 45% cash or 55% credit to use in the store (smart to build an ecosystem!). But if you don't want the hassle of trying to sell online it might be the way to go. I like this place, you will find truly unique mid-range pieces at an "ok" price and deals for high end designer items. It's fun to explore here. I'll be back.
