Lou Lou's has everything that a fine home could want for furnishings - whimsical needlepoint pillows, gorgeous dishware (I loved the black and white checkered collection), and even trendy mahjongg sets. The items here make excellent hostess gifts, and everything seems to be hand selected and highly curated. Amy, the young woman working when I visited, was delightful as well. It is at a very convenient location next to other lovely shops and close to the Bellevue Ave where the Tennis Hall of Fame, the Audrain Auto Museum and the Historic Mansions are. After the first time I went into her store when she was on Thames St, I started to follow her on Instagram. Sad when she closed on Thames St., I hoped she would relocate. And she did! It's one of those stores you have to check often to see what they have in stock. They rotate seasonal and holiday items with any unsold items going into the discount bin after the holiday. They have good prices on clothes and I always check out the sales racks. Clothes are offered for all ages with big changing rooms at the end. The layout here is similar to other Marshalls in this area. With lots of kitchen items it makes sense to check here first. They offer different items than you'll find at other stores which often have the same items at different price points and the prices are good here. I often find things at Marshalls I've been looking for elsewhere. Pots, bowls, linens, utensils. It's all here, plus some food items. One line forms for all the registers and of course they have impulse buys along the way. Candles, personal care items, socks, mittens, lunch boxes, you name it. All cute and desirable. The worst customer experience in the history of retail. Waited all day for box spring delivery…read more They finally acknowledged they forgot to put box spring on the truck, and the next fleet of trucks for the following day had been loaded and they would not accommodate us. We spent one night in a hotel. The next day MartressFirm told us we'd have to rent a truck to get the box spring ourselves. When we asked for a credit they told us we'd have to wait 5 days. The "manager" Betsy was not helpful. Her area manager Maxine was not helpful. Her District Manager Roberto was not helpful. I've begun making calls to Regional and VP of stores. Next up are calls to the CEO Mr Fazio. Meanwhile they have $300+ of our money. We are out the money for one hotel bill. We called Cardi's - they have same item in stock, will deliver by 3pm. Stay away from MattressFirm. Losers. They do not deserve one star.
