And the first thing I was shown when asking about something for dry skin was $140. I was like ummm yeah thanks. I did not come for that. I did leave with 2 face masks and a new facial starter kit and spent a whopping $24. One of the masks was an overnight Korean glass skin jawn. There is no parking but I would still return

Right after they charged me, the order was canceled with the excuse that I had requested the cancellation, which is absolutely false. I never canceled anything. Since then, my money has been in dispute because: The company does not respond to emails. They only send automated messages saying someone will get in touch with me, but no one ever does. Meanwhile, MELIO claims that they already sent the money to the seller and is now asking me to either pay again or provide my card number so they can try to charge me again. Absolutely not! This is robbery. I should not have to lose my money like this. And who is going to compensate me for the damage? This situation is unacceptable. I have already reported this case to: My credit card company The Better Business Bureau The appropriate authorities here in California These two companies are working together to scam people. Fabi is the only stylist I go to when it comes to hair and any beauty services. She knows what's trending and has an impeccable eye for style. I have trusted her for years with my hair and she has never let me down; in fact, she amazes me every time. Prior to meeting Fabi, I would hate getting my hair cut because I have very thin hair and never felt great about letting someone cut, color or even style my hair. Since meeting Fabi, I would never go to anyone else for my hair and beauty essentials. She is hands down the best out there and knows how to bring out true beauty for all her clients. I even travel from Long Island to NYC for her services... I am that loyal. I went from hating my hair to loving my hair all because of her... She is certified in keratin bond extensions that look so natural you would never know it's not my "real" hair. Anyone looking for a new style or a simple shape up should go to her. I have been in NYC for nearly 4 years. During my first 3 years, I bounced around from hairstylist to hairstylist until I stumbled across Fabi`s Hair Studio by mistake. Ever since then, and even though I travel a bit and could use a haircut or two while I`m abroad, I only get my haircuts now at Fabi`s studio. Whenever I walk in, and no matter how busy Fabi`s is, it is always spotless. It is always refreshing to be able to walk into a hair studio and not have to step on other peoples`hair. After I walk in, Fabi and her team always great me with the warmest hellos and are always asking me about topics we discussed in my prior visit: even about things that I have forgotten about. And the haircuts, simply no complaints at all! Each time I go into Fabi`s I walk out even happier than my initial visit. I`ve never felt that Fabi`s team of stylists are inexperienced. They all know how to cut and style and I love it how they even offer me tips and advice on how I should cut and care for my hair. I love Fabi`s because they truly care about their customers! After doing some research I decided to make an appointment with Fabi's Hair Studio. Fabi picked up the phone herself and her eccentric voice took all my worries away. She even gave me an appointment for the same day. I went there after work and Fabi was by the door and she welcomed me in. She offered me some green tea which was so cute of her. She is such a sweet woman. First we sat down and talked about the style I would like to capture. She took her time to listen. She also made some suggestions that you would expect from a stylist. After discussion, they washed my hair and even massaged my head! Then I sat down to Fabi's chair and she cut my hair. She really took her time and made sure everything looks proportioned and layered. I have lived in Murray Hill for many years. The salons I have gone to in my neighborhood have been very inconsistent or unimpressive. This was my second time at Fabi's and the second time Artur cut my hair. I have medium to long wavy hair. All I need to say to him is cut it just a little. I don't need to discuss it. He knows how to cut hair. He also does a fantastic, efficient job at blow drying too. And he also does the shampoo, which is very nice. There is no loud music and no pushing of hair products. I originally found this salon on yelp and read all the five star reviews. Now most of them have ended up filtered. I do not understand this. As for the price, the first time I went with an online special and the second time there was a special when I called. So it was very reasonable for a great wash, cut and blow dry. read more

I have had my hair done by stylist Fabi for almost five years. She did my prom hairdo, gave me my first highlights, and my favorite haircut ever. The most impressive story I have of Fabi doing my hair was the time it turned green! (eak!!) I'm a water polo player and thus basically live in the water 24/7. Unforchenutely the pool guys for my pool messed up the levels of chlorine and my newly highlighted hair turned green (like the hulk). Anyways I came to Fabi, who with her master dying skills, took the green right out and it looked beautiful to boot! ...This week I came to her cozy new saloon and got another amazing dye. I had no other choice so I booked with Arthur after my friend recommended me to go to Fabi's Hair Studio in Murray Hill. Arthur and Fabi are very nice people. I told him exactly how I want to stylize my hair. I even told him I want my hair like David Beckham has and he got it right away. I also mentioned him about my past experiences of getting a bad haircut. He told me not to worry about it and asked me to relax. He cut my hair very nice and stylized it with wax. I normally don't write reviews but This case deserves a shout out! I went to an expensive salon and asked for my hair to be dyed in the ombré look and it just came out so horrible. I was very upset! I then decided I needed to go somewhere else to get it redone. A friend of mine recommended this place so I went to Fabi she was actually booked but fit me in right away when I told her how upset I was. She was so sweet and took the time to talk with me. Growing up, my aunt did my hair so I'm always nervous about trying a new place. Fabi is great! I loved the hair cut so much that I went back a few weeks later to have highlights done. Fabi really listened to the color I was looking for and she nailed it! The cut was perfect and I was even able to style my hair perfectly the next day (normally I have to get use to a new hair cut or let it grow out a little before it remotely looks like the way they styled it.) A quaint little salon situated in the heart of Manhattan, New York with the best hairstyling services they have to offer. Julie is an amazing hairstylist. I had got rid of my layered haircut for few years and was desiring for a good change since a while. Julie is very accommodating and suggested a pretty good haircut which will suit my face and hair type. Hi, I found Fabi's salon on the internet though one of those deal sites and figured I'd give it a try. Boy, was I happy I did, my hair never looked better and the color is fantastic. I absolutely love it. The stylist, Laura, did a wonderful job while keeping me entertained and comfortable with her funny stories and cute accent (latin, I think). I got a great haircut here, glad I stopped in. The stylist Michelle is an expert with a scissor and has a great personality. She made the time in the chair feel like nothing and when she was done I looked and felt great. I would highly recommend Fabi's Hair Studio to anyone wanting the best haircut and service in the city. The owner, Fabi, was there too and actually cutting a woman's hair. She was so nice and even offered me food and drinks. BTW, they have wine fridays which is pretty cool. Sati is fabulous! I made a last minute, impulsive decision to get my hair done here (I've never been to Fabi's) and I always get nervous trying new places, but I had the most wonderful experience. Fabi is just that - FABULOUS! She has given me great haircuts for over a year and a half now (I go back every 3 weeks) and I have seen her also give some great female cuts / highlights. My hair was left lifeless from a salon that charged me an arm and a leg and after seeing a flyer, went to Fabi's to get it fixed and I came out with one of the best haircuts ever. I went there for a cut and highlight. I had bought the service from lifebooker so I was a little worry that because of the price paid ($78 instead of $200, knowing that the hair salon gets only half of that) the job would be slackened. Artur, the person who took care of me, did a wonder. I am so hesitant to have anyone do highlights in my hair without a history with them.....My daughter, Ro, convinced me to go to Fabi's where she has hers done. The salon is cute, the staff is polite and welcoming (even to the strange characters who walk in for cuts, and fabi ie wonderful! This is my go-to salon when I'm in town, and I was there last week. I had an event in the evening, so I stopped in for a quick trim and blowout. First of all, the energy in there is amazing! And it's so clean!! It's such a lovely contrast to the craziness of the city. From the moment I walked in I was treated like I was a VIP. Timothy did my trim and I am telling you, he is an artist. Truly. He took his time, communicated clearly, and I felt so comfortable. Then David gave me an absolutely gorgeous blowout. My hair was smooth and full, and I left feeling like a celebrity. I got so many compliments on my hair at my event!! Not only are these men talented with hair, but they are lovely human beings as well. I felt valued, relaxed, they made me laugh, and I never felt rushed. Not for one second. Highly recommend!

When I paid for the check I was a tad surprised it cost more than what I thought I signed up for - a cut for $30. Unfortunately when I was asked if I wanted to be shown what my hair was going to be like with a blow dry, i signed up for another $22 if service. It was not made clear at the time that it was going to cost extra. Would definitely come back here again but will be asking what the extras are prior to agreeing. Shampoo, cut and dry was $53 plus tip.

To make matters even more stressful, I was leaving for an incredibly special trip the following day, and I honestly did not know if my hair could even be fixed before I left. From the moment I arrived, Katia, the manager, was incredibly kind, understanding, and accommodating. After hearing what had happened and knowing I was flying out the next day, she went out of her way to squeeze me in at the last minute. It was immediately evident that she truly cares about her clients and wants them to leave her salon feeling taken care of. And then there was Ayhan - when I say I have never met a stylist so caring, attentive, patient, professional, and genuinely passionate about what he does, that is an understatement. He is truly an example of what it looks like when someone not only has incredible talent, but genuinely loves their craft and cares about the person sitting in their chair. I came in anxious and upset, and Ayhan immediately made me feel comfortable and reassured. He carefully looked through my hair, explained the issues he saw from the previous haircut, and actually took the time to talk me through what needed to be corrected and how he planned to fix it. Throughout the appointment, he explained each step of his process to me, which made me feel completely comfortable and confident that I was in the right hands. What impressed me most was that Ayhan truly took his time to correct the poor work that had been done elsewhere. He never rushed through the appointment or treated it like a simple haircut. He was meticulous. He listened to exactly what I had originally asked for, studied my hair, and carefully worked to correct the cut while preserving what he could. You could genuinely see how much thought and care he put into every decision he made. Fixing someone else's haircut is not an easy task, especially when you are working with mistakes that have already been made, but Ayhan somehow transformed my hair into exactly what I had envisioned from the beginning. The layers, movement, dimension, face framing, and styling were absolutely beautiful. He didn't just make the previous haircut "better" - he gave me the haircut and blowout I had originally hoped for and completely restored my confidence before my trip. I literally cried when I saw the finished result. After being so upset about my hair the day before, the relief and happiness I felt seeing what Ayhan was able to do was overwhelming. I had walked in wondering how I was going to feel confident on such a special trip, and I walked out with my hair looking exactly how I had hoped it would. Ayhan completely rescued my hair and my confidence at a moment when I desperately needed it, and Katia made sure I was taken care of when she absolutely did not have to. I walked into the salon stressed and close to tears and walked out feeling beautiful, relieved, and genuinely excited for my trip. I will never forget how they treated me. If you are looking for a stylist who is not only exceptionally talented but who truly listens, communicates with you, takes his time, and genuinely cares about getting it right, Ayhan is that stylist. I cannot recommend him enough. I am beyond grateful to both Ayhan and Katia for turning such a stressful situation into such a wonderful experience. They absolutely saved the day for me, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

And then went in for some blonde highlighting (which were phenomenal) after trying somewhere else that left me unhappy. Katie fixed me right away. Then when I wanted to go back to more of my natural brunette Katie didn't blink an eye. She's been giving me amazing depth and rich browns for the last year and I'm impressed every. Single. Time. She's efficient with time, offers unique and engaging conversations and makes you feel extremely welcome. The salon space itself is lovely. Great drink amenities if you need, some of the most comfortable shampooing chairs and conveniently located. I'll be a customer for many years to come.

The salon interior is lovely and an experience in of itself: a pristine white loft on the fourth floor. It's well-designed, minimalist and sun kissed, making for a bright and lovely experience. The salon staff are efficient and so pleasant making the overall experience a boost to your day. I had a single process (with Tam) and cut (with Chen). Both were done professionally. Tam is such a pleasant and kind coiffure. Chen does an amazing blow dry and is a very talented hairdresser. He does good haircuts too. I cannot recommend both of them enough after the pleasant experience I had, right down to the thoughtfully prepared cappuccino and biscotti for their clients. The one thing that places this salon in my favourites list is the fact that they use Kerastase products which are really so agreeable with my hair type and have been a product that I have used since my 20's at hairdressers around the world. The Kerstase shampoos and conditioners brought back such nice and happy memories ... The prices range from USD 165-200 dollars for a single process. About USD 155- 258 dollars for a cut and USD 67-150 dollars for a blow dry. The only thing I would change or ask more of at this salon would be music, music, MUSIC! It's always great to have some tunes playing in the background as you get pretty or prettier, as the case maybe. Enjoy your time at Salon SCK. It's a dream to have your hair in their good hands.
