Five stars because Mae gave me a fantastic pedicure. Other than a sweet greeting, she let me relax, enjoy the excellent background music and quality massage chair. Highly recommend. One caveat which you can avoid if you speak up--another manicurist was non-stop loud yacking about everything from her kid's soccer cancelled, her thoughts on Covid, her life's history. Her poor client didn't say a word, hoping if she didn't respond the manicurist would stop. But she didn't. So high praise for Mae and I am returning. Next time I'll ask for quiet, which is what I should get for a $50 pedicure. read more

Franny, the savvy 20something owner of this excellently run shop is awesome. The space is in quaint downtown Whitefish. Huge windows. Great wood floors. Wonderful cups of tea. Prepare to be thoroughly spoiled. Franny is a superb stylist, expertly cutting my unruly curls into something that grows out easily and gracefully. Perfect scalp massages during shampoo, and a truly relaxing experience throughout make this a perfect stop during any pampering outing. Plus, the website allows you to make appointments for a number of different services, day or night. How nice to be able to schedule what you want with who you want, without having to wait for the shop to open. Hello 21st century. So anyone that has been to see Franny at the Fab Salon most likely already knows how wonderful she is. When my wife comes back all I hear is 'Franny, Franny, Franny...". Which is just fine because she is just one of those cool cats that ishard not to like. But this review is about Kathy, who heads up the massage area. Kathy, who is fully certified and highly motivated by years of continuing education, knows here trade. If you're a Doctor, she can likely keep up with you when it comes to human anatomy. This is important because when you walk in with an ache, she can zero in on that knot and cast it away. Just looking to relax while on a vacation? You cannot beat the prices and quality of service. Vegas is going to charge you 125 Dollars and up for 50 minutes. You won't be paying anything near that at the Fab Salon. On the other hand your body may happily pull out that C note when your walking out feeling like a million bucks. The level of service you receive is likely to far exceed the sloppy quasi therapy you may get els-ware. I like to go in for a massage before I go to Vegas. After several years with Kathy, I can count on the experience to be professional, clean, relaxing, and just all around pleasant. I went to May twice for a pedicure because I heard she was good. She was running 25 minutes behind schedule but gave a decent pedicure. The second time she ran 20 minutes late & one of the stylists lied and said "she's just finishing up". I did get a second pedicure from her nor will I ever go back. How hard is it to let a client know you are running late? Maybe a 5 second text? Simply stated - unprofessional. If I treated patients the way she treats clients, people would die. Just wanted to warn anyone who is considering her. Don't have anything planned afterward & be prepared to wait. read more

Fab Salon is hands down the best salon in the Flathead Valley. I get my hair done by Lacey and she always makes me feel like a million bucks when I walk out of there. Hi Fannie, I went to my doctor in NY and because of the timing of when I experienced my pain, he said my pain wS definitely caused by the massage and not my hiking. He said he would put that in writing so I can send that to you if you want!
