Brandy Tourville is a sensitive and extremely skilled practitioner. I've only been able to afford…read moreseeing her a couple of times, due to distance from her practice, time constraints, and the family budget, but every session has been of benefit to me. Most memorable among them was when I visited her during a worrisome miracle pregnancy. Miracle because I wanted a child but didn't cycle regularly... worrisome because the conception and therefore due date could not be determined. My midwife was panicking, and pushing me to be induced, encouraging anything, "even accupuncture" to start labor. (That's not how things work, Michelle.) Anyway, Brandy's care at that time was very soothing, calming and reassuring. Amid an oasis of fear, she gave me peace. I left there feeling like my baby was okay, I was okay, and everything would be fine. Nothing was amiss with my meridians. Nothing was really wrong at all, except my freaking-out midwife. I did end up getting induced because my midwife said she'd quit, otherwise. I didn't know anybody else, was new to the area, and didn't think at the time to just FIRE her butt and find another care provider. And do you know what? Turns out Brandy was right. The baby had been just fine. The attending physician at the birth observed at her initial evaluation - spoken loudly and slowly so that my midwife could understand, I suppose - that our baby could have stayed in the womb another two weeks or so.

I had been using a lot of the deals, trying to find one therapist that would be able to help me with my insanely tight hamstrings. I must have gone through at least 15 therapists before working with Katie, and once I found her, I never used those deal sites again. I'm pretty particular when it comes to receiving massage, and Katie is amazingly intuitive and insightful. She knows how to help push me through the knots without pain and is respectful of my limits. Additionally, while some massage therapists are insanely chatty, or on the other hand, won't say two words to you, Katie can read my mood and knows when I just need to relax, or feel like talking. I've been seeing her fairly regularly for over a year, and can't imagine trusting anyone else to my massage care. She's awesome!

I was a D1 college athlete and suffered a lot of injuries - specifically lower back and hips. Due to injuries (and just a love for spas!), I have received a few hundred massages in my life (everything from sports massages to the St. Regis & other luxury spas) and therefore I consider myself to be an extremely hard judge when it comes to massage therapy. I came to Johnny after reading his reviews - and to be quite honest I wasn't expecting much from such a small town in Montana. But oh was I wrong! Johnny is extremely professional, truly cares about solving your problems, and I would recommend him to absolutely anyone. He has an obvious passion for what he does, and it shows! My favorite thing about his massages and the experience is that he is very educated in various techniques, and is very communicative during the session. He wants to make sure that you are benefiting from each and every minute. The main issue that I find with trying to search for a new massotherapist - especially on vacation or while traveling - is that reviews can be very subjective, depending on the individual person and what their massage preferences are. The beauty of Johnny's approach is that he has many different tools in his arsenal - so he can satisfy any client, regardless of what their massage preference is. Most massotherapists have one routine and/or technique, and if you aren't a fan of what they specialize in, you are out of luck. Johnny will talk through different options to ensure you are enjoying the session, which I think is extremely rare. I would recommend him to anyone - one of the best massages I have ever had! Thanks Johnny!
