My mom and I went there while on vacation for massages and pool time and I had one of the best massages ever. The staff was super nice and accommodating. And the pool area was a lot of fun. The pool attendant was really helpful and the food and drinks were yummy. My only suggestion would be for more locker rooms to get ready in and a bathroom in the spa area would be great. read more

The spa is amazing! My husband and I did an 80 minute couples massage for our anniversary. The massages were 100/10, thank you to the sweet girls who treated us! The massages were wonderful and they paid great detail to our needs. The staff is very kind and professional, and the space is so warm and inviting, with a beautiful view of the lake. The only downer here is my massage couldn't continue. 50 mins was not enough with Lahnie. She was fantastic! She took amazing direction and focused on all the areas I told her. I had the eucalyptus energizing deep tissue massage and the amount of eucalyptus used was invigorating! Living for it! The place was very relaxing and everyone was super welcoming. We had a free mimosa afterwards too, and they snagged a second complimentary one after posting on social about then. Holla! Perfect way to start a long weekend. Manicure description stated special focus on cuticles and my cuticles were never touched. My manicure was $130 and the gel polish had all lifted within three days. I am from Idaho so returning to the salon was not an option. The Spa Manager did discount the manicure due to a door that continuously slammed right next to the spa. read more

My wife and I traveled to the area and knowing how much my wife enjoys a good message( I mean who doesn't right !) , so I surprised her with couples message. The spa was clean , staff was great overall, classy looking , and had a relaxed zen like feel. We were offered champagne and we're asked to complete a short questionnaire to indicate where a few problem areas might be. I opted for the couples 80 minute medium/hard deep tissue message. Unfortunately for us , the message was just ok. My wife and I both agreed. As I mentioned , this was a surprise , so when she saw the cost, she was surprised and underwhelmed :( . There wasn't much focus on our problem areas either, and the message for both of us was light to medium at best, definitely not medium/hard. I I understand that Whitefish can be pricey , but In the end, the quality of message in our opinion wasn't worth the $472 spent . FYI also that there was a required 18 % gratuity, so the price I shared does include that . It's important I feel to add that we have both received messages from various professionals in the past , so we have a pretty good idea on what's good, what's ehh, what's ok, and what's terrible. I guess what bothers me about our experience the most is that I was expecting our message to be a little more technical, meaning that I could have proved the same level of message to my wife. ‍ This was our experience- def not bad , but I have to say that I expected more. read more

The service staff are usually great, but front desk can be pretty bad. We made an appointment in person a month prior, and when we showed up they didn't have any record of it. The front desk person was very cold and unapologetic. We couldn't contact the spa manger. No answer and full mail box. They have lost a regular customer. We can get better service for lower cost somewhere else. read more

Sadly, this is far from a day spa. Massage = pretty darn good, so we will leave this element out of my review (since that's a service you could get in your room or at home!). This is for "spa" only - an experience that you can get no where else, but a "spa". Given the quality of the resort, and its 4 diamond rating (the ONLY one in Montana), you would think that the spa (as in day spa, not outdoor jacuzzi tub), would rock! I wish they would have told me that the shower is (a) co ed, and (b) has zero privacy at all - a glass door placed in a high traffic zone, across from the steam room (also glass door and co-ed). Also, NO locker rooms for men and women. One tinnnny tiny room, that is not maintained very well at all. The towels are all different shapes and sizes (imagine how awkward that is when you're in a co-ed facility), robes are dingy, there are no slippers to walk around in due to guests taking them to their rooms (this was mighty disappointing). **shouldnt there be a warning from the not so friendly front desk staff that the facility is co-ed and to bring your suit??** I'm a big day spa person. Its a relax zone. Its a let it all hang out experience, literally. I'm also local. Perhaps to the travelling one time day spa'er, the lack of amenities and high costs are worth the splurge. But I was looking for something that I could go to often, and know of several locals who would like the same thing. When you are paying rates of $110 for a 50 minute massage, you assume there are "facilities" in place for pampering so you get your moneys worth. On a positive note - they do give you a free half glass of champagne Win! read more

I was worried to book here due to the reviews. I told them when I showed up for my apt that I saw a couple reviews from people saying they didn't get the full time they paid for and the girl at the desk said it was most likely b/c they were late. I paid for an 80 min massage and even after I mentioned it at the desk and showed up 15 min early I STILL only got a 70 min massage. I could not have been more pleased with our (extensive) experience at The Spa at Whitefish Lake! My mom, wife and I spent three hours here yesterday and were so pleased with our service, from beginning to end! When we first arrived, we were shown into the "Relaxation Room" to sip champagne and await our first service - perfect way to kick off the experience. I then went into the massage - Elizabeth asked good questions to make sure she understood what I wanted, and followed instructions exactly! I requested only medium pressure (the hard massages hurt my muscles) and that's exactly what she did; not too hard or soft, just right. Elizabeth is clearly very talented and experienced; it was, hands down, the best massage I've ever had. I then headed out to the nail technician for a mani/pedi; again, total pampering with an experienced staff member - Julie - who was thorough, skilled, and cheerful. My wife got a massage, also from Elizabeth, and a facial from Taylor, and absolutely loved both. My mom got a massage and body treatment from a lovely woman whose name she can't remember, but who was equally wonderful :-) All the full-service touches were fantastic. Complimentary champagne and they kept our water glasses filled up (good for post-massage); whatever I asked for, they helped with. I asked Stephany at the front desk to help me cancel a dinner reservation and to share the gratuity among everyone who provided our treatments; she was SO helpful in those tasks and in scheduling everything ahead of time. This was a special treat for my mom, and they took such good care of all of us that I would definitely return! Of course it's pricy; it's a full-service spa at a 4-star resort...but it is so worth the prices! read more

There are few people in this world that know true customer service. Someone that gives you a personalized feeling. That is professional yet friendly, is easy to communicate with and will try her hardest to make things happen. All of that was Nicole at the Spa at Whitefish Lake. I believe she is one of the directors there. My wedding was held at The Lodge on 7/17/16. And though The Lodge venue is extremely impressive, myself and many of our guests were very less than satisfied with the front desk, reservations and most all the servers in their restaurant/bar called The Boat Club. I won't get into all that, as my true purpose of this review is to be positive overall of the spa. Myself and 3 of my family members had spray tans from Nicole that were perfectly done. She did my make-up and I had a last minute cancellation of my hair and Nicole made it happen and did a beautiful job with my hair for the big day. All of the staff at the spa were gracious and calming. The day after my wedding my now sister in law and I went back to the spa for massages and we both were so pleased! I had a fun, relaxing time at my wedding and the spa and especially Nicole played a huge part! Thank you!! read more
