Chris was always on top of things and always kept me informed with speedy emails and phone calls. Eventually, our deal came through no thanks to the buyer's attorney and realtor having given us terrible communications all along the way. They get an F- and Chris gets an A+. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He never quits!

Email I sent to our agent Linda Sarbello,…read more "Linda, I wasn't able to make it to the closing of our house last week but didn't want to miss the opportunity to thank you for all you did. In a short time you helped us; -List our house beautifully, -Find a new home to love (and then find a better one which we ended up purchasing), -Accept the best offer (out of multiples) on our home sale, and all in a span of 6 weeks... Selling and buying a home is the biggest sale/purchase you'll make in life. It's ironic how little exeprience you'll have when the time comes and how important the partner you choose will be. With you Linda, I can safely say it's achievable, transparent and exhilarating.  Thank you for the countless miles clocked driving through Connecticut county after county (sometimes at the crack of dawn). Thank you for your explanations of the process, the properties and most important, thank you for listening and understanding at the core to what my husband and I were looking for in our new home. We will always remember our experience with you and William Raveis and thank you for guiding us safely through the most important transaction(s) we've made so far. Sincerely , Blair, Patrick & Wriggley, Middlebury, Ct.

Despite my parents having an independent appraisal, the agent suggested a listing price of almost $20K below the appraisal , never confirmed a closing date with my parents, and essentially worked as it she were representing the buyer and not the seller (the buyer was represented by an agent from the same office, which begs many questions on ethics.) This became an unnecessarily stressful and costly experience for my parents because of the lack of professionalism, communication, and basic business ethos to "do the right thing." I would strongly recommend working with a different group of people

DO NOT DEPEND ON THEM. If you're considering buying a home managed by REI Property & Asset…read moreManagement, Inc., I strongly urge you to reconsider. I've been dealing with REI for over 2 years now, and my experience has been nothing short of exhausting and disrespectful. Last Winter, I reported serious ceiling damage in my unit. Despite numerous emails and follow-ups, it took 9 months before anyone from their maintenance department reached out to schedule a repair. I was met with delayed responses (if any), and even when I expressed how serious the issue was, I was often ignored or brushed off. At one point, I sent a detailed message outlining the conditions in my home and on the property -- and the only response I got was, "I'll pass your concerns to the board." No answers, no accountability, not even an apology. Meanwhile, the exterior of the property is falling apart, unkept, and growing mold. Residents have had to spend their own money and labor just to keep the place looking livable -- because REI does not act with urgency or care. Even basic communication is a struggle. This isn't just about one delayed repair -- it's about the complete lack of respect, accountability, and basic property management. I follow all the rules and uphold my responsibilities as an owner -- and this is how I'm treated. I wish I had known what I was getting into. Please take this as a warning -- if your property is managed by REI, expect to be ignored, frustrated, and doing the job they're paid to do. There's been a total of 4 different managers since I been here. I guess no one seems to stick around to make business better. When I first moved in, my neighbors expressed to me that they never bother contacting REI, and I 1000% see why. Unbelievable - 0 stars.
