I was met with delayed responses (if any), and even when I expressed how serious the issue was, I was often ignored or brushed off. At one point, I sent a detailed message outlining the conditions in my home and on the property -- and the only response I got was, "I'll pass your concerns to the board." No answers, no accountability, not even an apology. Meanwhile, the exterior of the property is falling apart, unkept, and growing mold. Residents have had to spend their own money and labor just to keep the place looking livable -- because REI does not act with urgency or care. Even basic communication is a struggle. This isn't just about one delayed repair -- it's about the complete lack of respect, accountability, and basic property management. I follow all the rules and uphold my responsibilities as an owner -- and this is how I'm treated. I wish I had known what I was getting into.
