Moving from Boston meant I didn't have the luxury of having days to go around to look a numerous apartments. I found one that I really like and emailed to inquire. Georgia was very fast with response and got back to me within 30 minutes! My wife had also already started the hunt online and emailed others to setup viewings. Georgia went out of her way to be available the same day I had emailed her (Saturday) for a viewing later that afternoon. I was very surprised that she was willing to setup the viewing for that same day and immediately made my way down. We had agreed to meet at a certain time, yet the Mass Pike was under construction so we were almost 45 minutes late. Georgia had no problems with the delay and still greeted us with a smile when we arrived. Literally the day before closing was told my loan would be escrowed, lender saying it was mandatory. Overall, not a happy experience. I've been an investor for well over two decades and have dealt with dozens of banks and mortgage companies. The end result was I received an 8.75% interest lock on a 30 year loan Bottom line: my loan was sold not once but twice to other institutions. Thankfully, I don't have to deal with New England Lending any longer. It's a nightmare from the past.
