Shouldn't you know the specifications of a loan before applying and putting a hard inquiry on your clients credit? They applied for a loan and then came back and said "oh that one didn't work because you make too much." Uhm, shouldn't you know the income guidelines for a loan before applying your clients for it?! We found another broker and another home and we were in it within a month of looking at it. No glitches. No hang ups. Nothing. It was stress free and simple. With East Coast, it was problem after problem after problem. They knew our loss was their fault because they refunded us costs that they had nothing to do with. They asked us for papers that didn't even exist. Stuff they already had. They delayed important things needed to be done on their end. Verifying employment only days before our THIRD closing date. Stuff that just prolonged the sale time and time again and started to annoy the sellers. It was a disaster. After our problem free second home buying process it's clear to us that this company is totally incompetent. Wanna know the best part, they sent our refund check to the address of the house we LOST!!! ‍

When I said something, I was told "we have lawyers " not sure what that meant, I took it as - lawyers sanction all the banks polices, so I guess they are justified in there own minds to take my money. Good customer service would dictate that the bank in good faith could have given me some, most or all of my interest back. They could of taken 3 months interest as a penalty but desired to take 3 years 3 months penalty.
