Really good for a hotel restaurant!
We had dinner here a few times and breakfast every day (included with the room).
Breakfast is a pretty comprehensive spread that will suit most people: eggs (scrambled, deviled, boiled), cold cuts, a few kinds of sausage, beans for the Brits, fruit, cereal, yogurt, plenty of bread stuffs, etc. They even have some cakes and champagne is you really want to be decadent. Everything we had was fresh, tasty and regularly replenished.
For dinner, it's a mix of traditional dishes and some lighter offerings. They start you out with fresh bread, homemade pate and garlic compound butter. Absolutely delicious, especially the pate! There's a good wine list and beer prices aren't too bad. I loved their cream of potato soup which was garnished with crispy bacon. Their pierogies were some of the best I had all week too - well filled, not gummy at all and topped with beautifully carmelized onions.
Service is efficient but perhaps not the friendliest. The atmosphere is great - stylish with live jazz many nights. I was happy to have FF as an option, especially on those nights when we were too tired to venture out. read more
