And that was exactly the same experience for us working with John and his team to redo our driveway and part of our sidewalk. John was extremely responsive, got the necessary permits from our town, and made the experience super easy for us. It felt like they were in and out; it was probably the smoothest experience we've had when dealing with home repairs/work. He stayed in touch and checked in with us before, during, and after the job -- which to be honest, consistent communication is sometimes half the battle, but not with Cannizzo. I would absolutely recommend their work and appreciated how easy the entire experience was for us!

He gave us a good price and was very thorough explaining the parts and the process to both myself and my wife. On the day of the work, John personally came and supervised/worked with his subcontractors, something I don't see very often nowadays with larger companies. Phenomenal work by John and would recommend Roof Shark for anyone planning on hiring a contractor for roofing, gutters, and siding!

I highly recommend MNT Roofing! From scheduling to completion, the entire team was professional,…read morerespectful, and extremely timely. They showed up when they said they would, communicated throughout the process, and made sure everything was done the right way. MNT handled several projects for me, including my roof, gutters, 10 windows, and a patio door, and I couldn't be happier with the results. What really stood out to me was their attention to detail and the quality of their work. During the roofing work, they pointed out that some of my roof joists were sagging and recommended adding additional support, which they took care of properly. They also made sure my attic had proper air circulation and ventilation. These were things I already knew needed to be addressed, but I intentionally waited to see if they would identify and bring them up on their own -- and they did. That gave me a lot of confidence that I was dealing with a roofing company that genuinely knows what they're doing rather than one simply looking to complete the job. The entire team was great to work with, and the workmanship was excellent. They were reliable, thorough, and took pride in doing the job correctly. With MNT, you can have peace of mind knowing that everything is being handled properly. I would highly recommend MNT Roofing to any family member, friend, or anyone looking for a reliable company that provides quality work and amazing service.

There had been a leak…read morethat was slowly getting worse, a leak that was not fixed properly by the last roofing company a few years ago. Who could I trust?? Did we really need a new roof ?? Can anyone fix this leak?? I had several estimates, had 4 different companies come and tell me what would fix that leak. The range of remedies was vast and varied in costs. CHARLIE with ON THE SPOT was the first to come take a look. Right away I was impressed with his knowledge, he was very kind, respectful and professional. He came when he said he would, took pictures, & explained everything so that I could understand. He found the problem that the other guys didn't even mention & it made perfect sense. He is honest and that is a gift beyond measure in todays world. My Mother and I felt totally safe with him and he even encouraged us to follow thru with the other estimates I had scheduled. In the end, we hired ON THE SPOT and are so so so glad that we did. They were on time, worked quickly, were very clean and cleaned up any shred of debris from the job. They were mindful of our dogs, keeping the gates closed even when our dogs were inside. AND THE LEAK IS FIXED!!! We just had a massive drenching a few days ago AND IT DID NOT RAIN IN THE KITCHEN!! NO LEAKS!! THANK YOU CHARLIE WITH ON THE SPOT! We will be telling our friends and family and will definitely hire them again as they do home improvements as well. Knowing that you have someone that you can trust in all aspects is priceless...so glad we found ON THE SPOT

I would not recommend On The Spot under any circumstances. Immediately after signing the contract,…read morethe red flags started popping up and did not stop until I was abandoned in an endless field of them. It felt like my project was managed like a game of hot potato, with no one person taking responsibility from beginning to end, but instead, by lots of people who seemingly never collaborated and also managed lots of other projects as well as evolving roles within the company. The subcontractors that they used to do my project varied wildly in terms of the quality of their work and experience. Working with On the Spot is not an experience I'll ever reflect upon with any fondness. Everyone has that friend/neighbor/realtor's nephew who had an awful experience with a contractor. Well in this case, I am that friend/neighbor/realtor's nephew and On the Spot is that contractor. Look elsewhere.

Listen, Mike Alleva is a legitimate crook. There is absolutely no reason why a homeowner should…read morerely on them to perform a service of any kind, particularly one of a larger scale remodel. His staff unfortunately follows his lead, even begrudgingly, characterizing this business as having no integrity whatsoever. The most immoral, unethical behavior of the events, is the following. We were elevating the ceiling height in our enclosed front porch. Above the dropped ceiling was space similar to an attic, and the intent was to eradicate the unused attic-like space and raise the ceiling for aesthetic purposes. During the estimate, the project manager moved a ceiling tile, examined and measured, and said the current existing support was more than sufficient for the project, and proper for code purposes. Fast forward several months to the actual construction, the ceiling was demo'd, and then Mike calls and says that he needs to rebuild the rafters. I told him they were thoroughly examined already. He then raised his voice, belligerent and aggressive, and like a thief in the night says that I have two choices - I can either choose to stop construction and cause a significant & timely delay while we await inspections, or I can pay $3000 for one day's work of exchanging the rafters. So, I watched them remove perfectly fine construction, just so they could rob me. His project manager knew it, his office assistant knew it, his crew knew it. he knew it, and we knew it. And it was unscrupulous, despicable, and an entirely sleazy way of squeezing money from good people. I hate to be stereotypical, and hindsight is 20/20 but it added up in the end when I remembered Mike showed up in a $100k car and $200 jeans to give a hardworking family an estimate on modifying their home, one that he ultimately inevitably disregarded for the sake of his own benefit and meager financial gain. Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere, read and trust the accounts from other concerned reviewers of this abhorrent, dishonest individual.

Avoid at All Costs -- Dishonest, Lazy, and Unprofessional…read more Total Quality Homes epitomizes the saying, "you get what you pay for." He'll quote an economical price, but it will come at a hefty cost. Jerry Beke of Total Quality Homes cuts corners, makes avoidable mistakes, skimps on materials, and lacks professionalism with his constant condescending and rude tone. This economical option cost me more in frustration, wasted materials, and ultimately, money lost due to his dishonesty. Jerry overcharged me by $1,000 and refused to return the money. I STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST hiring him for any construction project. Jerry's work was rushed, sloppy, and riddled with avoidable mistakes. His inaccurate estimates and neglect to measure twice before cutting forced me to make multiple trips for materials. He didn't properly trowel adhesive on the backs of tiles, creating uneven joints and voids behind them because it "wastes material." He admitted he "hates grouting", which showed in the recessed, uneven grout lines that left tile edges exposed. The shower niche shelf wasn't pitched correctly, causing water to pool instead of drain. He botched the herringbone pattern and left jagged, unfinished tile edges. His careless work also damaged my hallway's parquet flooring. I've only scratched the surface, but plenty more examples exist that illustrate Jerry's version of 'quality.' Beyond the shoddy work, Jerry also overcharged me by $1,000 due to a miscalculation in his final invoice. I provided clear documentation of his mathematical error, requested a refund multiple times, and even gave him multiple chances to propose a reasonable repayment timeline. Instead, he refused to return the money. FINAL VERDICT: If you want a contractor who cuts corners, performs subpar work, makes your home reek of cigarettes, disrespects clients, and refuses to pay back money he wasn't owed, then Jerry Beke is your guy. Otherwise, stay far away from Total Quality Homes.
