Great 30 minute workout! I have driven by this place many times on my way to work wondering about…read moreit and I finally went in to check it out. I had a pass for a FREE 3 day membership. I have been to lots of gyms and boot camps and I didn't know what to expect from here. This place is like small group personal training. You sign in when you enter and then warm up. Then you move along the stations doing each for 1 minute with time in between to switch and catch a drink. The trainers are there to watch your alignment, help you set a challenging level and encourage you. You are not on your own! At the end of the circuit, you have a cool down and you are done! The trainers help you make it challenging and you don't have to figure out what to do, they've already done it for you! When I was there, I saw people of all ages, shapes and sizes. All were working hard and many had lost several inches through the program. Stop in and check it out!

I couldn't be more happy and healthy. It's a very simple process. You walk in, sign in and immediately start your warm up given by a great video. Then you start your station work outs. All timed for a minute each, it's great. The staff keeps you motivated the whole time. When you're done with the stations, you move to the cool down video, again, it's great. Can't get much easier, I love it. Thanks guys!

I'm three classes into my free two week trial here and I feel like the place already needs a yelp…read morereview...and for all of the readers, this place IS open and you can currently sign up online for two free weeks. This is the first of a few locations opening in the area and is run by the ladies who owned Raw 45 Bootcamp in Wheaton. Among all of the gyms I have been a member of, these ladies are at the top of their game, they're top notch professional...and both great trainers as well as business managers/owners. I have found both qualities to be rare in the fitness industry... it's usually one or the other. Elise & Amy are both. If you browse my page and my yelp list of gyms, I've been to MANY. So for starters, you will NOT get bored at a place like this! There are a number of different circuits (the website indicates 27) and forever changing exercises within each circuit so no workout will ever be the same. The concept is outstanding and no other place is like it. All workouts are 45 minutes so you're in & out of there in no time and you get a hell of a workout in during those 45 minutes. Time goes by very quickly! The Hollywood workout I participated in for my first class on Saturday was an hour with a live DJ providing the music keeping us going the entire time. There are classes in the morning & at night and classes 7 days a week. Try this place out!!! It's for all levels and the trainers are there to not only motivate you, but to also make sure your form is correct and can assist in modifying anything necessary. Move over Orange Theory Fitness....F45 is where it's at!!!!

This is my second CrossFit box since joining the evil empire, though I travel a great deal for work…read moreso I have dropped in on many. Justin is straight up the best CrossFit coach I have ever encountered. His knowledge base is off the charts and his patience for people like me that are still working to perfect movements is a breath of fresh air. You won't feel like an idiot if you have a higher than normal learning curve, and he knows how to push you without putting you into situations that can lead to injury. If you are a new person just starting CrossFit, you should consider yourself lucky to have him to teach you the ropes. The facility itself is friggin massive. The largest box I have ever been in and it is well organized and kept tidy. One of my principal issues with my old box was how cramped it could be with larger classes but that has never been an issue at Rise. Programming is offered 6 days a week and there is open gym and Yoga offered on Sunday. There are 3 types of classes offered including 'fitness' for beginners, 'performance' for intermediate levels, and 'competition' for the elite athletes. The programming at Rise is quite challenging and there is a much greater focus on weightlifting than my previous experience elsewhere. They do occasionally offer boot camp style classes that are basically CrossFit minus a barbell, but I would suggest to everyone to just get over this initial fear and take the normal classes. It won't be long and the barbell will feel like another appendage anyway. There is a small locker room for you to change and take a shower if you are hitting up the box before work, and the front desk offers the usual FitAid and similar products if you need a post workout pick me up. The community aspect CrossFit is noted for is alive and well at Rise. The last person finishing is just as important as the first one, and you can expect a degree of camaraderie and bonding among your classmates if you show up regularly. Overall, Rise is a great option for CrossFit for any skill level. I plan to keep coming as long as they will have me.

Updated review: I…read moreended up hurting my knee here Fell off the rings funny and the gymnastics pads for landing were no where to be found. They were willing to pause my membership but refused to refund. I'd expect a bit more attention to members especially during covid and social distancing Also when I signed up, one of the owners had my credit card registered under her. It ended up auto billing me for a second month. Took almost a month for her to fix and remove having my credit card information. They are friendly but seem to just lack general care of members otherwise
