Once my month was up I was hooked. Along with setting some personal nutrition goals I have lost 28 lbs and gained muscle. My hubby has lost 30 and gained muscle. We both feel so great. We can do everyday tasks with ease that used to make us winded. It has changed our life and we plan to continue to use this gym for years to come. Our favorite part is that we go three times per week for about an hour and we get stretching, strength training that is mixed with cardio (pretty legit) and there are usually at most 5 people in our group. For the most part there are usually around 3 or 4 including us. The trainers that we have worked with are motivating and push us but while we are working hard we are usually laughing our butts off (literally). It makes the workout go by so fast and makes us want to come back. Cindy at the front desk is always smiling and ready to greet you when you walk in. The owners are great and hard working. They are ALWAYS on site. That is usually the key to a great local business. They have just expanded the gym to make room for a great area for the group training classes. The entire staff is always smiling and saying hi and having a positive upbeat attitude. That helps a lot on days you don't feel like being there yourself. We always leave in a better mood. We have had to travel before and there was no problem putting our membership on hold. They just need to know in advance your dates and they are very accommodating. I highly recommend this place. It is more than just a gym for us. It has helped us develop a lifestyle we hope to continue for the rest of our lives. When I became a Chef about 6years ago I put on a lot of weight. I am getting my active lifestyle and energy back and loving it.

The community here is incredibly welcoming, and the programming is always challenging but scalable for any fitness level. Coach Robb Haak is the real deal. He's knowledgeable, encouraging, and really takes the time to make sure everyone is moving safely and getting better every day. Robb has a way of pushing you to do more than you thought you could, without ever making it feel intimidating. He truly cares about each member, and it shows in how he coaches and interacts with everyone in the gym. The owners have also done an amazing job keeping the gym in great shape. Over the years, they've made noticeable improvements--upgrading equipment, keeping things clean, and making sure the space is inviting and functional. You can tell they're invested in creating a great environment for members to train in and the community. Whether you're brand new to CrossFit or have been training for years, this gym has something to offer. I'm stronger, more confident, and in better shape than I was when I walked through the doors three years ago--thanks to Robb and the MBSC family. Highly recommend!

This gym is currently under construction so I'll be light on the review, it's got just about…read moreeverything a gym would have except there's no tread mills to run on, all those are located at the fitness annex up the hill across the street. Now the gym is also separated into different rooms, it's not an open floor plan, something that I'm personally not a fan of because that means for a new person you have to kind of bounce back and forth. That's just my personal preference. Either way, the weight room is good, usually has some pumped up guys there that look like they're going to take your weights away if you bother them in their sessions but they have TRX, stretching, medicine balls, and elliptical/bikes in the former basketball area. It's kind of a mess right now but there's still plenty of places to get your work out on with classes like the FIELD HOUSE and THE FITNESS ANNEX. The gym also has personal trainers that you can sign up for sessions with for a nominal fee. I like it all in all.

The good: - The members are very respectful and no one…read moresteals or has any issues with taking things that don't belong to them. - The equipment is well maintained and cared for. - Open 24/7 but you do need to be trained on opening and closing procedures. The bad: - I personally do not agree with the way the owner interacts with his clientele. If you make a mistake such as leaving something out, the owner will post a clip in the chat letting everyone know you made the mistake, he will not address it with you directly, he will blast you within the group chat. Lastly, the owner has removed their own messages within the group chat to obfuscate his behavior. - Additionally the communication needs work. I attempted to take equipment outside for a strongman event training session. The owner came to the gym with the sole intention of aggressively lecturing me and demanded I put everything back at that moment, citing his sign on the front for only bringing out "beater plates". This sign did NOT specify which plates and was also hung over a rack of rubber plates leading one to assume these were acceptable, and they were not. Which lead to a hostile message sent within our group chat stating that if this type of incident happened again he would revoke memberships on the spot. Later, he had to clarify within our group chat multiple times which plates were acceptable because members still did not understand. He consolidated them all to one place and stated "these ones on x machines" which would still lead to me taking metal plates outside damaging the parking lot and the plates attempting to do my specific training. There was no acknowledgement of fault on the owners end for this miscommunication.
