Cables snapped and left for months broken, cracked and flaking cushions scattered about, all of the equipment is loose and in need of maintenance. I'm no Jay Cutler but I've been to golds all across the US and this is by far the worst I've visited; in DESTIN of all places... The a/c is constantly going out, when it is running it's not proficient for the space ( 8+ years of HVAC... trust me). Whoever drew up the layout of this place is clearly an engineer and not an actual fitness enthusiast. It's a bit sad. Membership rates, and day pass rates are completely non reflective of the actual facility and its offerings. Only thing that saved them from a 1 star is they at least have nice squat racks, and a decent dumbbell selection. But be weary, you'll be lifting right on top of your neighbor! Hope this helps!

Clear Communication Matters. Know the Cancellation Terms Up Front!…read more Signed up my 16-year-old daughter with parental involvement, but key terms were not clearly communicated at enrollment. We later went in person to cancel and were under the impression that the membership would end after the initial term. Months later, billing continued. When trying to cancel, the system didn't recognize the account, which delayed the process until management corrected it. We eventually managed to cancel, but the communication and cancellation process were unclear. Make sure you fully understand how billing and cancellation work, especially when signing up a minor.

As we walked in the door, the man said to my husband " how much does your physique cost to you?" When we asked about a 7 day pass. As a couple who goes to Alphaland and Species (very well known gyms), this was so rude. So we walked out the door. BUT when we came here, Gage was so amazing to us!! Greeted us as we walked in, told us about the day passes, and answered any questions we had. While working out, he would walk around, re-rack the equipment if needed, and/or wipe anything down that needed to be cleaned. Once we were leaving, he asked how we liked the place and if we enjoyed our workout. He also recommended some good restaurants around town and it was so helpful! 10/10 would come back just to work out and see Gage again!
