I've been to this place a total of 3 times within the last 8 months. I was there yesterday and the day before and I love the customer service each time. I'm only reviewing the electric bikes. For around $8/ hr you can ride to your hearts content. Many places i.e. lake chelan washington charge $20/hr and for 18 yr and up whereas this place allows you to be fitted to the bike based on height . The bikes are a perfect size for me, small, easy to handle, and light weight so I can easily pick it up to move onto pavement or pass any obstructing barriers. The service is always quick and friendly. The location is great, next to Starbucks on Denman st so you can go use the restroom before taking off to Stanley park and grab some drinks on your way. I just found this out after paying $9 for half day parking down the street that this place has free customer parking behind their store. Bonus!!! I had a great time with my 9 year old niece, they lowered the seat for her. Families with kids should really try the electric bikes. Thanks to EzeeRiders I was able to see the entire Stanley park. The only reason you should pick this place over other bike rentals is the pedal assist they offer on all their bikes. I've never used one before and it was pretty cool going uphill. The bad part is all their bikes are poorly maintained. Handle bars not aligned, low pressure on the tires, and bent tubing. Their helmets are disgusting. Yellow inside from sweat and probably not disinfected after each use. We had to ask for a bike lock before leaving the shop for our ride and it was some poorly made Chinese brand lock. Of course when we used it it took 15mins of fiddling with the lock to unlock it. Lastly there was a blob of red paint that was smeared on the right pedal of the bike and I didn't notice until I got back to the shop and my shoes were ruined. Complained to the attendant there and he didn't do anything about it. read more

Great prices. During the winter months, they offer bike rentals that are about $5.50 per hour. You can easily bike around Stanley Park within two hours while enjoying the beautiful scenery and taking pictures. The bikes were reliable while we used them for an hour and half. My problem with this place was that the guy working here was not very friendly. He was more aloof where he looked like a Walmart worker who hated his job. We were the only customers there so there was no excuse why he didn't bother to help us adjust our seats to our height. Instead, he just gave us the bike and looked at us as if we were dummies. I asked him to help me adjust it and he just blankly stared at us and then adjusted it. Don't expect great customer service. However, everything else was great - great product and prices. Rude service! There are many other bike rental options nearby. Don't waste your time here. We arrived a few minutes before opening on a weekday and hung around outside with another customer for the shop to open. Five minutes before opening time (9:00), a girl arrived, ignored us, opened door, took out a bike, locked door and left. She never returned. Five minutes AFTER the scheduled opening time, a guy arrived, unlocked the door and went inside, also with complete indifference to those of us waiting outside. He then dragged out a sidewalk sign advertising bikes. We held the door for him, which earned us an exaggerated eye roll. "Well, that's some nice customer service, the other customer commented to us." At this point, we just all kind of looked at each other as if to ask the question, is this place open or what. So, we cautiously entered. That earned us an exasperated look from the employee. Without speaking, his eyes asked us, "what do you want?" "Um, we want to rent a couple of bikes." To which he replied, "just so you know, we don't have any more regular bikes; only motorized." The other customer spoke up, "but the sign you just put out..." We just walked out. I have never experienced such terrible customer service anywhere. A few blocks down the sea wall, we found a nice little shop (Seawall Adventure Centre) with good bikes and, wonder of wonders, someone who actually acted like his job actually depended on customers' spending money. We had a great time exploring Stanley Park. EzeeRiders looked good online. Perhaps they were our even still are at times, but our experience was beyond inexcusable. Others have written bad reviews because the shop was out of bikes, but I disregarded those. Places get busy and run out of inventory... but at 9:00 (make that 9:05 because of the late opening) on a Tuesday morning and the extreme rudeness of the employees.... there is no excuse for that. read more

Listen, when one is new to visiting Vancouver one must ride bikes around Stanley Park - it's a must people! There are a ton of places in town that rent bikes and some are far more pricey than others. My husband and I settled on Ezeeriders due to the price and that alone. I mean no matter the negative reviews how could they screw up bikes, am I right? We arrived at around 10 AM on a Saturday and easily grabbed two cruisers from the gentlemen working the counter. We put down a credit card, grabbed a lock, declined helmets, and made our way right outside of the store to Stanley Park. Looking back, a bike with gears would have been better but it worked for what we used them for. The reason I am giving Ezeeriders Seawall 3/5 is because our bikes could have used some TLC for sure. They squeaked and creaked most of the time but fortunately no flat tires or bad brakes were had. We enjoyed a ride around Stanley Park twice and headed back to the store to return our bikes. We paid roughly $20ish and left no questions asked. It was easy and efficient and other than some low quality bikes it was a good deal for what WE used the bikes for. I can however see after my experience how some may have had bad experiences based on the conditions on the bikes themselves but then again for double the money? Up to you! read more

Since biking is part of a Vancouverite lifestyle, one does not have to go broke just to fit in. Enter EzeeRiders. Because I "liked" them on Facebook the night before and found out about their Foursquare 10% off deal for June 2011, I believe that it really doesn't get any better than this. They have the basic bike selection (mountain bike, cruiser, electric, tandem, etc.), and they charge only $5~ per hour! Seriously! After your first hour, they charge you per minute. After biking along the sea wall with our mountain bikes for two and a half hours, my friend and I only $12.66 each with out 10% Foursquare discount. Say hello to a great deal perfect for the summer. Convenience-wise, they're right at the entrance of Stanley Park so it's easy to stop by and grab a bike. My mountain bike was the perfect size (and I'm only 5"2), and I truly enjoyed using it. The next time I want to clear my mind, I will go to EzeeRiders and get a great deal! read more

I purchased the $19 snowboarding package from Tastygo. I'm new to snowboarding, so I practically know nothing about boots or bindings or board height. Boots: The boots are the lace type only, which I found very hard to do up by myself. I prefer the boots that have the knob you can twist to tighten the laces. The store offers only this one type of boot. Board: We went on a Saturday around 12:00, and almost all the boards were rented out. I ended up having to use a board slightly too tall for me. I think it would be good for the business to get their online reservation system up and running (they have a page for it, but it's still under construction). Bindings: I had no clue about bindings when I got up to the mountain. The bindings on the board were set so that the left foot was pointed at an angle and the right foot was pointed straight -- they were also placed on the narrowest setting. I had been boarding once before earlier in the week, with gear from Mt. Seymour, and the bindings were completely different. My first run was awful as the tips of my board kept catching, and I couldn't figure out why because I was doing the same thing as my previous session. I took the board to the Cypress repair guy and he said the bindings were too narrow for my height and my skill level, and that they should be at a similar angle to each other. We had to pay 10 dollars to get the bindings repositioned, but once it was done, I had no more problems. When I went to drop off my gear at the store, I told him what had happened and he was surprised -- he said they normally do the bindings at 15 and 13 degrees. They were definitely not set up in that case, so someone else probably switched the bindings last time and the shop never checked. I guess my one complaint is that they should have checked, especially since I made it clear when I picked up the gear that I was a beginner. Overall, the gear was in okay condition and the service was fine. I have another coupon that I will use, but this time I will make sure to check the bindings in advance and I will call ahead of time to make a reservation, which I would recommend everyone do. read more

It's really easy to walk in and rent a bike but don't expect to have a lot of customer service. It's hit or miss if your bike will have a bell - INSIST ON A BIKE WITH A BELL if you're going to Stanley Park. The pedestrians don't respect the divided path and you'll spend half the ride yelling at people that you're behind them OR stopping suddenly and nearly falling over when they wander in front of your bike. The guy behind the desk/stand thing inside didn't really help us make sure the bike seat were adjusted for our height, you can't adjust the handle bars (so if you're on the taller side the mountain bikes will make your shoulders hurt from poor form). The gears on my bike kept jamming when I tried to shift gears on some of the steeper hills of Stanley park but the electric pedal assist was handy on the steep hills near Cactus Club to head back and return the rental. read more

Ezeeriders makes bicycle rentals simple, as it should be. They offer different bike styles at different hourly rates. We went for the cheapest option, which is a single-speed cruiser at $5 per hour. Each minute after the hour is pro-rated based on the $5 hourly rate. It's location is great. It's near a corner with a Starbucks and it is only a few blocks from Stanley Park. All we did was walk in, select our bikes, put a credit card down for a deposit, and walked out with the bicycles. Returning the bikes was just as easy. We walked the bikes in, paid the fee, and we were out of there within two minutes. Easy peasy. read more

Great location at the convention centre (with two food/drink options next door). Staff at EzeeRiders were just this side of useless - didn't talk to us about the helmet law, didn't give us locks as requested, didn't show us how to use the motor option on the bike, didn't give us maps, and started charging us for time when we stopped by before lunch to let them know we'd be back a little after our reservation time. However, the 'Comfort Bikes' with the motor assist were great, and they made for a fun/easy ride all the way to the Burrard Street bridge. The location is perfect, as you can go really far on the bike part of the seawall, without coming anywhere near traffic. Lots of fun. Maybe you'll get better staff than we did!! read more

Biking at Stanley Park with a friend. Looking around for a bike rental shop. Found a small little shop hidden in a corner of a street. Not the best location for a rental bike shop but it's probably the one with the best deal in the area. Minimum biking duration is one hour and most of the other shops I've seen are minimum 2 hours. Best deal ever $5.50/hr and $1.5/day for a helmet for a mountain bike. Great customer service. Bike was alright, offered me a bike with an uncool looking basket in the front. Great! I can put my backpack in the front. Would rent from this place again. read more

This place is fantastic! Location is perfect - right near Stanley Park. Rental rates were also extremely reasonable - much cheaper than the rental rates of nearby bike rental shops. The salesperson was also extremely helpful - he let us test-ride the electric bikes before we decided what type of bikes we were renting. I rented 5 bikes last week. It was amazing. The shop is organized, the price is good and we had fun. I really recommend them.

As soon as I walked into the shop, I felt like an outsider. The employees couldn't be bothered to help since they were engrossed in some inane gossip. Once they finished talking, an employee graced us with his presence and that is when the trouble started. We didn't get the bike models we asked for, my e-assist didn't function, and my tire was flat within a half hour of riding. We ended up having to walk back to the shop, and the person working acted annoyed that I had somehow broken his bike. He actually said, this is going to be a loss for us. I would recommend steering clear of this shop at all costs. read more

We had a GREAT bike ride around the seawall at Stanley Park. It was really crowded, but a beautiful day and incredible scenery. However, the bikes we rented were all really beat up. The one I rode had a serious shimmy from a bent rear wheel, but they didn't have any others available when we were there. When we returned the bikes and I explained the problem and asked for a discount, they said no but agreed to look in to repairing the bike for future customers. I have no way of knowing if that ever happened. read more

I rented a bike there but the pedal broke down during my ride. I had to come back just with one pedal. I just put one star because even if the people seemed to be welcome and that they didn't charge me, they could have given me a free ride the next time or something commercial all the more I could have been hurt or someone else. So bikes seem to be bad quality, I felt the metal frame too soft like the thread of the pedals. read more

very cheap and very friendly. I and my friend went to the shop at 7pm on a sunday and they close at 8 so the guy waited for us till 08:25 because we were running late and he was so friendly. I was quite hesitant at first to which bike should I pick the mountain one or the cruiser but I found the mountain one more convenient because of the brakes and it fits with my size and height. Thank you to the patient staffer who helped our family of 4 choose bikes and gave us a 10% discount before I could get back to the world of wi-fi to check-in on facebook. They didn't have bikes that would work for my kids (hence 1 star off) but we were offered tandem bikes with a kid seat in the front. The adult got to do all the pedaling but the bikes were so amazingly balanced that even though I had to push my 70lb kid and I haven't biked in 20 years (eek!) we all had a blast and weren't even sore the next day! We got tons of compliments too on the cute bright yellow bikes we were riding. read more

We came here because we thought the reviews were good but upon arrival, we realized that there are several bike shops in the area with just as good (if not better) prices. My husband is quite tall (6') & I'm quite short, however the bikes we received were not adjusted for our heights. Also, my husband's bike seemed to have issues with it & the gears didn't work properly on either bike. We mentioned this upon our return of the bikes but the guy helping us said this is normal & that we're just not used to riding bikes! While close to the park, we would NEVER rent here again.
