Absolutely fantastic service. I needed to get my DJI Phantom 4 fixed and found out that EZDrone is the only DJI authorized service provider in the entire PNW. I went to their location in the Pearl District and unfortunately, no one was there, even though they were supposed to have opened an hour earlier. I was a little perturbed to have made the trip down there, and left a voice mail letting them know I'd been by. About an hour later, Ben called me apologizing for his absence, and asked me if it would be OK for him to stop by my house later that day. He finally came by, and was the nicest guy, answering any questions I had, and taking my drone back with him to get serviced. They got my drone all sorted out, and even went the extra mile by making a house call. Great job, guys. I can't begin to express how much I like these guys. If you need any help with your drone this is the place to go. I'm rather old, and, although technical, I don't know squat about drones, and I didn't want to walk into a place that is dominated by younger persons and feel embarrassed or invisible. I reviewed YouTube videos about my drone but some things remained unclear and I needed training help to fly my drone. Terry helped me out. He was awesome and took the time that was needed to show me exactly what was required for me to get my drone calibrated and showed me how to fly it (safe mode) around the parking lot. Since I have an old drone, I was anxious about crashing it since it doesn't have the collision avoidance features that new drones have. However, for what I'm doing (hoisting antenna wire on the top of some trees) it's much more cost-effective to use this drone. In conclusion, I can't recommend Terry or these guys enough. They know what their doing (they are passionate about drones) and go out of their way in every possible way to help each customer. They have a small shop so their overhead is low and so they can charge a very reasonable fee for helping you with training or fixing your drone. read more

My girlfriend took my DJI mini3 drone in for repair. After having my drone for almost a month and charging me about $125 they returned my drone to me u touched and obviously not repaired ( arm was broken off) which I then had my girlfriend take it back out to them for the second time . This time they kept it for almost another month and after being told a second time it was repaired and having to drive out this time to Vancouver instead of Oregon city because they moved and we would have never found this out if we didn't call ahead when leaving to get it back. After getting there we were given a refund for the initial money we spent and was returned a broken drone . So 2 months + $125 +2x travel time and gas - $125(refund)= 1 broken drone ..don't use these guys if you can help it but because of the limited services offered in the area you may not have a choice . read more

I wish I could give this place 6 stars. For reference I'm a Sr Project Manager in the HV industry with 10+ years experience. While working on an extremely difficult transmission line project, we solicited Ben to come out and consult with us on using a drone in lieu of a helicopter. His ability to think outside of the box coupled with his outstanding experience and knowledge and absolutely amazing customer service proved vital to our success. I was researching buying a drone for business related photo & video. This is the only shop in Portland - since Drones Plus closed. Terry helped me out. He spent a long time answering all my questions. The shop is small - but they are very knowledgeable and do drone repairs. They sell drones as well. There were some basic toys ($30+)-along with more expensive models (DJI & 3DR). I also saw some racing drones. Terry said they provide Part 107 certification classes & flying classes as well. I was impressed with his willingness to enthusiastically provide information and not seem bothered at all by my myriad of questions. I have been researching for about 6 months. You'll find much online in forums. One should do as much online research as possible, so you come in armed with at least some clues about what you want to ask (and not truly waste their time). However, talking to someone who has operated many different drones, sells them, repairs & provides aerial photo and video services - in person - got me much farther ahead in my decision making. I'll be back. No tax in Oregon. Keep that in mind when you are shopping online. The shop is tucked away INSIDE a little weird-shaped strip mall. I rarely write reviews but felt the need this time. If you have any issues or questions about drones please visit Ezdrone. They repair everything and have loads of patience with any questions. It's a tiny shop tucked back in and not easy to find the first time. The owner is often late for work so don't get there expecting them to be open on the dot, but with that said, it's a wonderful shop and I'm so thankful they're right here in Portland. read more

Great customer service. My Phantom 4 crashed and I brought it here yesterday based on reviews. Ben (I think his name was Ben) spent well over 30 min taking apart the drone and explaining, very patiently, what my options were while he worked on the drone. He also spent time trying to find the most cost effective way to obtain the parts to repair the drone. I was ready to pay for the repair when Ben found some additional, internal damage, with the possibility of additional damage he can't see without further work. At that point, it was decided that repairing the drone wasn't the best option due to all of the damage. He also took time to explain that I could sell certain parts of my drone package so I could at least offset the cost of buying a new drone. They sell drones there, which Ben showed me, but there was never any pressure to buy anything. So after all of the time working on the drone, I asked If I owed anything for all of the time he spent. He said, no charge. I would definitely recommended this place. I felt comfortable and trust Ben. The customer service was outstanding. read more

DJ Mavic pro made it a month after Christmas before my son crashed it. Pretty stressed out about repairs since it's a new hobby and was very pleased to find a local repair. Straightforward and knowledgeable guy and had it repaired in 48hrs. Definitely be back if another issue arises. read more

Worth the effort to find the slightly-odd location! Like the other reviewer before me, now that Drones Plus in Beaverton unexpectedly shut down, I was in a little panic in regards to finding spare parts for my drone (I crash a lot). Searched in Google and in Yelp and found Ezdrone. They were open until their listed time on New Year's Eve. The owner is pretty knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He also offered to 3D print something for me if I needed it. If I had to purchase another drone, I'd go back to this store. A little hard to find. If you use your GPS and input the address, you will end up on Lovejoy but no store or sign. This building that the store is in is on Lovejoy but the store is actually on a little alleyway parallel to Lovejoy behind the front of the building. Hard to explain. read more
