Awesome store! Floor & Decor in Nanuet took the place of…read morewhat was a grocery store. So it's huge and has a bigger than necessary parking lot. They offer options for flooring, accessories, trim and related materials - tile, wood, stone, laminate, and luxury vinyl plank, backsplashes, plus installation materials and tools. They supposedly offer design services to help with project planning, but I've never utilized those services. In addition to a huge selection, I've found staff to be knowledgeable, the return policy is good and prices are competitive. Overall, this is a great shop if you're renovating a kitchen, bath or other. Just browsing the aisles will give you ideas. I very much recommend visiting!

He was very patient, and shared his knowledge and experience to prompt me from start to finish in creating the final result. The task was overwhelming when I began, and he patiently broke down every step of the process to narrow down my options. The decisions came together after several visits as I grew more confident and overcame my uncertainties, and completed some price checking to verify that this was the best deal. He calculated the amount of supplies needed, and walked me through the order. His advice and skills were a comfort to me during a very stressful event, and I highly recommend him for his outstanding customer service.

6 or so years ago I purchased my kitchen cabinets from Kuche+Cucina - along with the general design…read more[and quite a bit of custom fabrication]. I am still ecstatic about the result -- I mean like I still smile every time I walk into the kitchen and open the fridge door!! Fast forward to Thanksgiving 2022... 4 year old grandson decides to throw something and dented the kick panel under the refrigerator. I was really something rather minor... but my OCD was kicking in big time, so I gave Rissa a call and she sorted it out... and I mean WAY over and above sorted it out. I have rarely ever been as happy with a vendor / provider -- while I had expected the worst, it was very much the opposite -- they have not yet invented words to describe how much I think this firm has some of the best "after sale support" [and we're talking a LOT of years past the actual sale!!]. While I doubt I'll be replacing a kitchen again anytime soon... if anyone ever asks me for a recommendation, there will be zero hesitation on this recommendation.

We worked with Kuche + Cucina for a kitchen remodel in Manhattan and also worked with another…read morerenovation group for the rest of the apartment. We really enjoyed working with Carmi to establish the design and that process was very painless and flexible. We were set to start on renovations in early 2020 however with COVID, we had to delay our renovations due to the building's policy. Kuche+Cucina was super understanding and held our cabinets for us until we were ready and felt comfortable with proceeding with renovations given the circumstances. However, the main reason that this is a 3 star review is that we definitely had some issues working with the renovation coordinator. Though I think we were all in unfamiliar waters with the pandemic I definitely felt like there were quite a few times when the ball was dropped on their side. For example we weren't told in advance that our contractor would need to move certain outlets in order for the cabinets to be installed even though we had asked explicitly beforehand if there was anything that needed to be done in advance. This caused delays in the whole process and required the other renovation company to schedule last minute changes around them which luckily they had no issue with. There were also multiple times that we were asked for information in an urgent manner that we had already provided prior which made the process quite stressful. In addition it seemed like coordination between Kuche+Cucina and the actual workers was a bit messy and just confusing in general. We would be asked one thing by the workers and be told by Kuche+Cucina to just not worry about it. But then later it would come up as a last minute problem and Kuche+Cucina seemed just as confused as we were and said that this was an issue with the contractors rather than take responsibility for their poor communication with their contractors. I expected a profession kitchen renovation company to be more organized especially for a relatively straightforward cabinet installation. Some requests were also totally ignored. For example, we requested that a soap dispenser hole be made in the countertop we ordered and received confirmation from the group but no hole was ever made. It's not really a huge deal to us but it's definitely just one example of many small communication issues that we had with Kuche+Cucina and the communication between them and their contractors. Meanwhile the other renovation company that we worked with for the rest of the apartment work was super communicative and easy to work with even when we hit unexpected road bumps. Since all this occurred during an unprecedented pandemic I would take our experience with a grain of salt but we probably wouldn't choose to work with Kuche+Cucina in the future.
