They take too long, too expensive and overcharge for the most random bs, wouldn't recommend

This feedback is purely scoring service given by the business by using eBay. The repair service was good. But unfortunately the entire result is weighed by my online interaction w/Alex the tech & then my telephone interaction w/ Julia Organista Barragan the registered owner of the business. I sent my device as instructed for repair. Two weeks went by & I was concerned. I contacted the repair shop through eBay. I heard no replies. Then a vacation message appeared. The next day I called the business, Julia told me they couldn't find my phone. She questioned me & put the blame on me. I provided the address that I was given & the address shown online. She again said they didn't have it. Tracking confirmed it was delivered. I asked several questions & she didnt have valid answers. Overly rude & unprofessional. Finally by the 3rd day she said they found it. She purposely delayed responding to messages, & mailing back my phone. A month later I received my phone. The repair was good. Everything else suxed! Holy moly. Purchased screen replacement service through Ebay that said "Your Device will be fixed and shipped back within 2-3 business days after we receive your phone." I had a 5-day camping trip planned and this seemed like the perfect window. I get back from the camping trip and there is a message that they need the passcode for the phone. What? Why? You're replacing a cracked screen. You didn't request that in the Ebay listing. Amazing. I provide that and wait 3 days. Nothing. Email them three times. No response. Call their shop SIX days after I gave them the passcode. They tell me they haven't gotten to it yet. "Your Device will be fixed and shipped back within 2-3 business days after we receive your phone." I broke the screen of my iphone 6s and it was unusable. I called Apple and then Best Buy (who is Apple certified) to schedule a service appointment. Their next availability, sincerely, was weeks in advance. Not having access to my phone for an extended period of time would be very hard. As an alternative, and because I wanted an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) screen, I ordered a refurbished one online from EZ Fix's ebay account and waited for it to arrive in the mail. ***When it arrived I brought it to a reputable repair shop to have it installed. The display immediately showed multiple discolored bright spots at the top. Later that night I found out that I couldn't hear anyone speak on a phone call. I brought my phone back to the shop the next day, they verified the connection of the earpiece/microphone and also tried installing a brand new one, but the outcome was the same-- it did not work.*** I then brought the phone to a ubreakifix store just in case the issue was with the first technician and not the refurbished screen. This technician, in his infinite wisdom, somehow managed to disable my phone. Some very important things, that could not be backed up to a cloud and only stored directly on the phone, now lost forever. Although this specific event was not directly due to the refurbished screen, it unfortunately was a consequence of the circumstances it created. ***Eventually I had a service appointment with Apple. Their technician verified that an earpiece malfunction could be due to a faulty screen. I showed them the refurbished screen and both Apple's tech and the initial repair technician said that there was no indication that the screen was OEM, as advertised. They both mentioned that the Apple logo on the flex cable was missing, noted an issue with a QR code, and said that another cable at the top was semi detached and should normally be fixed to the back of the screen among other things...*** ***This vendor refused my request for a refund.*** I'm sharing my experience with you so that you may use your discretion when deciding to buy from or service your device with EZ Fix Cellphone Repair. read more

sent in my phone from out of state to have a wifi chip repaired. They were unable to find the wifi issue, which is fine, but my phone was shipped back to me with what looks like an electrical short on the display connector. Basically my phone was returned in a much worse condition than i Had sent. I spoke to the owner and he said I could ship the phone back to have the "screen" replaced for 28$. It wasn't the screen, if they had just admitted they caused a short and cut their losses to correct the issue that wasn't even their to begin with I would rate them high. But that didn't happen. This may have been the worst service I have ever had in my life. I was comparing prices for repairing my phone in Pasco, WA at EZ fix repair shop. I hadn't decided if I wanted to repair the water damaged phone or buy another phone. I asked a few quick questions on the phone. I came in and asked a few more quick questions with only one other person in the store, who was already being helped by another associate. I found out later that my s9 screen had to be replaced, so I came in again to ask how much that would cost for a comparison. She mentioned they had used Iphones for sale after I realized her prices were more expensive. I almost decided to buy one. She then said "I have spent 4 minutes talking to you now and I still haven't made any money." She claimed that I wasn't just wasting my time, but her time as well. At this time there was zero customers in the store. The other place that was looking at my phone, called Amigo, had a professional employee, who was courteous and provided excellent service only a few blocks away with cheaper prices. I called to complain with no response to my complaint. I then called the other EZ fix repair shops in Richland and Kennewick to find out it was a family run business. I was given a "managers" number to call. I called it only to hear a mocking o.k., o.k., o.k., o.k. repeated over and over as I was calmly explaining the situation. I am not one to think racism is involved in every situation and would probably have normally rolled my eyes at the review above claiming racism for such rudeness. There are plenty of jerks out there who are equal opportunity offenders, but after what I experienced with this lady, what I have seen from the reviews, and what others have since told me about the place, I could see racism being part of the equation. Probably not the full equation though. As I started to leave the store she sarcastically told me dont forget your kids knowing she had already irritated me to begin with. Whether racism, unstable personality, or just a mean person, I dont really care about that too much. I am, however, a big fan of putting a spot light on these type of practices in business and letting Capitalism decide the winners and losers. Capitalism only knows one color, and that is green. I am a white guy she is hispanic, and the guy from her competing store is also hispanic. None of this really matters except to say that it is the way you operate your business and treat your customers that should create your success, or sink your ship. read more

This company doesn't deserve a star! Was bullied and harassed and discriminated! Went to EZ Fix cell phone repair 3/2/17 happened around 4:10-4:30. Experienced awful service to the point the person who calls herself Julia claims to own this business. I wanted to buy screen and battery so I can fix the phone for my sister and a friend, was told by Julia "battery is sold as final sale, I don't really want to sell you the parts!" I had asked "the sales are final? And you don't want to sell me the parts? If I bought the battery and it's faulty I can't bring it back?" She said "I don't want to sell you the parts, I don't like you!" I asked "what did I do wrong?" She said, "I just don't like you, you get into my nerves, I'm picky!" Then I had asked "I'm picky? Or you're picky? And you don't like me because I get into your nerves?" Then she said "I don't like you! I don't want want sell you the parts!" My deaf friend was there and I interpreted everything to her in what's happening. And she said let's go! Off we went! I have filed a complaint against this person to human rights commissioner! Hope they can help with avoiding future problems like this from happening to another person who just wants to buy parts for the phones they want to fix. If anyone else have experienced this problem, please file a complaint to human rights commissioner of Washington state, and to better bureau business. So their discrimination and harassment will eventually be stopped! The more people complain about their bad experiences with this company the more human rights and bbb.org will investigate and work with the people. Please if anyone else have gotten a bad service with them in anyway, explain here and to the two services for the people that I have listed. I called them up to have my screen replaced and was told they'd have it done within 45 minutes to an hour. Dropped my phone off and was back within the hour and the repair was done. They were very courteous and professional. read more

I have taken 2 different phones to them and they could not get the to work. One was dropped in the toilet and they gaureentee me they would fix it and they didn't. The other had software issues and they couldn't fix it either. I don't trust them and they charged me to give me my phones back. read more

Think before you even consider using this business for your cell phone repair. I called to get a quote on my phone repair and expected time frame that it would take to complete. When I went in to the store, the price I was quoted was $10 higher then on the phone and the time frame was twice as long. When I questioned this I was treated very rudely and asked to leave. I never raised my voice or used any foul language, I simply inquired why I was being given two sets of information. The store clerk accused me of calling her a liar, when in fact it was just the opposite. She totally denied having told me any of the information I had. I can only imagine what a nightmare these people would be like to deal with if they had actually performed the service and there was an issue. I did take my phone and leave and went to Cellairis at the mall, and the gal there was awesome. Yes, it cost a little more, but well worth it. The service was excellent and was exactly what they said it would be when I called ahead of time. Don't risk your phone by going to this business. BUYER BEWARE!! read more
