When that didn't fully resolve the issue, he came back out to reassess and suggested installing a full gas insert as the next step. What I really appreciated was that Eli credited us for the previous work (gas logs and damper) and helped us choose an insert that made sense. The only hiccup we experienced was with the third-party vendor supplying the insert, since we initially had to pay them directly and ran into some issues. However, Eli stepped in, handled the situation, and arranged to pay the vendor himself, allowing us to reimburse him instead--which made things much smoother. Throughout both the initial service and the final installation, his crew was prompt, courteous, and efficient.

He went on our roof to inspect the chimney and removed a temporary cover, dropped it over the side of our home. When I mentioned the cover is used to keep insects and rain from falling through, he said he'd be back to replace it. After he promised a quote with the different options, he stopped responding. I followed up a few times and he forgot who we were and asked me to send photos of our chimney so he could remember. I tried to follow up with him again and was ghosted by him. While he seems responsive at first, I think our chimney may have been an issue he's never seen before and didn't have experience with. Every other fireplace company we called either wasn't available for weeks or wanted to charge a couple hundred dollars just to come take a look. Then we found Fiddler On The Roof and wow... what an incredible experience! Due to scheduling, we connected with our technician Enrique over the phone via FaceTime, who was not only quick to respond but genuinely friendly, kind, and so easy to talk to. He instantly recognized our unit, and started walking us through troubleshooting steps we never would have figured out on our own. Within just a few minutes the fireplace lit up perfectly again. Enrique genuinely cared about solving our problem, and he absolutely earned our trust. I called DannyLee to arrange an inspection and see if any work needed to be done before I lit fires in them. I am so glad I did. DannyLee was honest and communicative during the entire process. He clearly explained what needed to be done and what my options were. The final project included cleaning two of the fireplaces, a complete reline of the masonry fireplace, repairing/bringing the crowns up to code, and adding rain caps and a fan. Additionally, I had him and Rudy install gas log sets in all three fireplaces and glass doors on two of them. I was especially impressed by their professionalism: for the masonry reline, they actually built a 'clean room' to protect the rest of our home from the dust and debris! The work required several visits, and both DannyLee and Rudy were consistently friendly, courteous, and professional. Even with the extensive amount of work performed, the pricing was very fair.
