Walia called me back and was able to expedite my frames to be delivered right before I left on vacation.

Not even sure how to express in words how kind and special I have been treated by Sara and Lily…read more They are two of the kindest human beings and have gone completely out of their way to help me. My father is ill and his glasses were misplaced at the hospital. Both of these angels helped me find a pair for him ( without being able to see him or me as we are both very compromised during this pandemic). They both had so much patience and understanding for our situation. This is what the world needs more of...they are an asset to Illori and to our world. During a difficult time of life these two beautiful humans made a huge difference to our lives. I am forever grateful for them.

Ive had a very disturbing customer service experience at this Ilori Manhasset because of the store…read moreManager Silvia and Store assistant manager who refused to give his name. I've traveled throughout the boroughs of NY to multiple Eye wear places to find the perfect fit prescription glasses. I entered the store with joy and high hopes of finally getting my new glasses. I had an idea of what I wanted so I began browsing the Chanel frames. Immediately I felt uncomfortable to ask them questions because I felt unwelcomed, by judgmental stares. That moment I felt like I was in a place where I didn't belong. Still I am determined to get my glasses. With little to no help from either employees,I finally found my perfect frame ! I approached the store manager saying I would like to purchase this pair. As I had inquires about my item she began demeaning me as if I wasn't a buying customer. It was then when I realized this store wasn't worth my money. I took the description of the frames so I can go purchase them elsewhere. I am very disappointed in the customer service I received at such an " upscale " store. I traveled from Queens to Manhasset only to get disrespectfully criticized and judged. I will never shop there again and I will recommend people not to go here.

This is in reference to a problem that I had with the Factory Eyeglass Outlet Hicksville Manager…read morethat occurred this past Saturday, Jan 15, 2011, in accordance with an issue going back 4 to 5 years. This morning I spoke with the Port Washington store about an issue that has gotten completely out of control. The employees are instructed not to give out principles name or contact info. I tracked down all of the info online. Factory Eyeglass Outlet is part of Ophthalmic Management Co Inc, 325 N 72nd Street, Omaha, NE 68114-3605 Phone: (402) 551-9541 I was referred to email Adam Sandman (adsandman@factoryeyeglass.com) by the Nebraska OMC president, Harlan Rips. I told him my problem. He was very nice and told me that I could send an email but inferred that I will get no where if I were to try to call. Let's go back to 4 or 5 years. I went to the Hicksville store due to it being a weekend. I needed sunglasses. I tried a pair of frames and asked the manager if they would be proper for sunglasses use. He said they would be fine. When I picked them and I walked outside the sun came beaming in behind the lenses, thus, hitting my eyes as if I was wearing no protection at all. I immediately went back inside the store to tell the manager. He became very nasty and arrogant. I told him that I would buy another pair of glasses if he could just make these lenses clear so at least I could use them. Please keep in mind that I was willing to spend more money even though he is the one that told me these frames would be fine for sunglasses and they were not. He then had an even nastier attitude saying he was going to charge me for the new lenses too. I was so shaken up that I cursed him out and left. The next day I went to complain to Port Washington. I was told that they could not give me any name to talk to. This became even more upsetting. Since then I have only dealt with Port Washington. I have bought 2 or 3 pairs of glasses, since the Hicksville incident, with no problems. This past Saturday, since they are not open in Port Washington, I went over to Hickville. My daughter needed glasses and I needed two pairs. After deciding on frames the same manager "attacked" us. He told me that I was banned from the store and that he was going to tell Port Washington not to sell to me too. I apologized for cursing at him the last time. He did not care and became even more arrogant. I did not fight and just walked out. I called Port Washington this morning. I was told me that there was a fax regarding me from him. They had to call Hicksville up to talk to him. I said that he was just going to tell them not to sell to me. I could not get any names for management. I found the info for the parent company, Opthalmic Management Company, online and phoned Mr. Harlan Rips, who, in turn, gave me Adam Sandman's name. I should not be punished and banned from Port Washington. Although I might of said a few choice words that I should not of said they were in response to how your Hicksville manager was treating me. He was very nasty, arrogant and downright mean. Alan Sandman founded the company. I think Adam Sandman must be the son. I emailed Adam and received a nasty response from Alan (alsandman@factoryeyeglass.com) They will not talk to customers. The Sandman's live in Port Washington and belong to the Chabad there. Other than the emails there are no direct business phone numbers. It looks like their Nebraska stores are the only decent ones due to Mr. Rips. He is so kind I do not know why he associates himself with such low class people as the Sandmans. It sounded like he does a lot of apologizing for them. The Sandmans are dictators. They hide behind their employees. They think that their money buys them class. All it has bought them is a boat. Class is earned not bought. Giving money to a temple will not buy your way into heaven. G_d is too smart for that. Under no circumstance should anyone be shopping at Factory Eyeglass Outlet, Payless Opticals, or National Optical Warehouses. We have to show businesses like this that we do not condone their practices and run them out of town.
