For anyone with lower back sensitivity like myself, having the legs slightly elevated during the session could make a big difference. My back felt a little stiff by the end, and a small adjustment like that would have made the experience even more comfortable. The music selection was lovely and really set a relaxing atmosphere. There was some ambient noise from the front desk and neighboring stations early on, but it settled down as the session went on, allowing me to fully unwind and enjoy the experience. Destiny's salon was nice, inviting, bright and airy & clean! I felt comfortable upon walking in. Destiny explained the process with me in detail. I was a bit nervous but she helped ease my nervousness. The pain was and minimal and bearable and your lips are numbed multiple times throughout the process. She made sure I was comfortable at all times checking in with me often as she worked. The initial appt was about 2.5 hours long. Destiny explained she would neutralize the color on my lips as I had hyperpigmentation and that the second treatment would seal in color. I saw a change in the color of my lips after the first treatment. After the second treatment I could really see a difference. Overall I am happy with the treatment and love my new lip color. I wish I would have gone a bit darker but I did not want to overdue the color since this was my first time experiencing lip blushing. I plan on going back for a 3rd treatment for a bit more color.
