Do not shop here. Go elsewhere if you want to be treated fairly. What to expect: - Hours of wasted time due to their faults that you will never get back - Optician that is rude and unprofessional - Improper prescription filled - General Manager that will not ultimately own up to her employees' mistakes by making things right - Customer service would rather lose a customer than fix the situation ------------------ Through my purchase process we ran into several discrepancies, falsifying info, and mishaps with our glasses. The initial Optician was unprofessional in her approach to customers. I was not knowledgeable in the ordering process and all of the unique features but I was expected to none the less. I was literally asked "What do you want" without any context of what they were referring to. I had to ask several times what she was referring to just to get to the point that she was asking about lenses and features. How was I supposed to know what my options were. Additionally, the opticians openly talked negative of a customer after they left out loud in front of everyone else. At this point I honestly felt uncomfortable. After placing the order and leaving, I received a call saying they could not fill my prescription with the lenses I chose. Not a big issue just order what I need. Instead of offering that option I was asked to come back to pick new frames. I had to ask several times what other options were available before the optician offered to order the lenses I needed. Ultimately the optician failed to order the correct lenses and didn't want to incur the cost of the mistake. At this point I wanted to end the process and move on. I asked for them to stop everything and refund me my purchase. However only a manager could do this but they weren't there forcing me to go into the store the next day. The next day I spoke with the General Manager and expressed my concerns and asked to stop the order and issue a refund. She presented a few options to include covering the difference in the lenses ($40) and an additional $10 off. I accepted and regretfully continued thinking that things would be better. Mine and my son's everyday glasses were ultimately ready 14 and 15 days later. However, I never received a call because a strange number was put into my profile. Additionally discovered that instead of putting a warranty on both my glasses, the Optician noted I declined on two of the four ordered which never occurred. The tech was unable to help me because of course they needed the General Manager and they weren't there. After receiving my son's glasses we discovered that night that his glasses were incorrectly made forcing me to go into the store again. Again, I went back to the store. I asked for them to make the situation right and discount me for wasting hours of my time on their mishaps or refund everything. After waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes for the GM to show up and speaking with Customer Service I was left with this: 1. No compensation for repeated failures and wasting of my time. 2. Justified themselves because they had already covered the cost of the lenses they messed up ordering and the $10 discount. 3. The GM said I already got 50% off from a published sale so there was nothing more she would do. A sale anyone in the public could use. 3. Customer Service only stated that I can be refunded and that was it. No additional support offered. After speaking with the General Manager and Customer Service we have been left with zero recourse. Either accept the treatment or give up the glasses we have worked to have over the past three weeks. read more

The service I received was top-notch. Kimberly and Charles were exceptional. Kimberly knew the perfect frames for my face, and I don't regret the choice I made. She's knowledgeable, kind, and patient. I appreciate that! Charles made our experience fun. He was very personable and made a tedious task very entertaining. If you want to waste 4 plus hours trying to get glasses, go here. So many excuses for the wait time, yet no urgency to help. I have been in this store 5 times since November of last year(6 months ago)Everytime it's the same. 1hour and 37 minutes to help 1 customer with 2 pair of glasses ahead of me. Why? Because the employee wouldn't stop small talking. Nice ladies but talk too much, slow af. Not efficient at all!!!! Never give a heads up to a 2, 3 or 4+ hour wait time. We were told pick up glasses no later then 3 pm. 3:40 still sitting here, waiting..... never coming back! Idc how good of a deal they have. Americas best have the same deals and better service. Also can't get progressive lenses same day??....they advertise "buy today, wear today" VERY nice young lady who has only been there a few weeks! She was super helpful and kind when we got to her!! When I went in I was greeted and asked how they could help me I explained to them my insurance was showing that I didn't have benefits at the current time but that was a mistake at insurance and all they needed to do was call for an authorization number. I had a case number to give them. The girl that was assisting me not only did she not talk to me for about 3 minutes after I explained this to her she refused to make the phone call and said I would have to come back when it was correct. I said I just called my insurance company they said to bring you this number and have you call for the authorization number again she refused and then said well hold on I'll go talk to my GM and then came back promptly and said no we can't do it she said you have to wait until it's clear with your insurance company. I went outside and called my insurance company they said that's not correct they don't understand they have a working relationship with eyemart Express and all she had to do was call. I then called the store and asked to speak to the manager and come to find out that employee never did go talk to the manager at all she just refused to serve me. I was not about to go back in there after being treated that way and I was very nice about the whole thing I did tell the lady there in a nice manner I said you know you haven't been very helpful and you weren't very nice to me she said you have a nice day like just whatever get out. I went across the street o VIEW optical they made the phone call and within 2 minutes my insurance company said yes she absolutely has coverage here is the authorization number. I spent more money than I wanted to because obviously it's more expensive than eye mart but I am not going to spend my money somewhere where they refuse to do their job. I don't like being brushed off and whether I spend a penny in your establishment or $500 in your establishment I should be treated in the same respect. I had no issues at all when I went somewhere else I had tried going to eyemart last year but they didn't take my insurance and they didn't tell me that until I sat there for 2 hours so I don't understand what their business plan is the manager was mortified when I called and told her about this but I'm not going to go back in any business and beg to be treated with respect. read more

This will be my last purchase from this company. I ordered online and received the glasses in the mail. Convenient except the prescription is not correct. I took them to the store to take care of this. At 2:25 pm the only people who can help me are at lunch. For an hour. I expressly waited until after the lunch hour to go in. Service? Nonexistent. I was very pleased with the service here but the wait was extremely long I was there for over six hours with my 1 year old son. But I came back the next day before they opened and got in and out with in 30 minutes with my new glasses in had with my prescription. So being patient is key. read more

One of your employees, Carrie, is absolutely the SWEETEST, kindest, most helpful person I've ever had the pleasure of getting service from (as well as all of your employees!!). Never had a bad experience here. Have been coming here for 10 years at least. Today the lady at fro t desk was very rude very unprofessional and couldn't seem to answer any questions. Nor did she even make an effort to ask someone else so I could get my question answered. They have also always signed u in on computer she asked my name and told me to take a seat! Went to this place with my prescription in hand. When I entered I stood in a line and was later told that line was for picking up glasses. A lady took my name and supposedly added me to her "waiting list". That was shortly after 1:00 PM. As I was waiting, two customers that entered the store after me were waited on before me. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because there was some confusion with the long line. At approximately 2:40PM a lady instructed me to sit at an open desk and that someone would be with me shortly. I waited at that desk until just after 3:00PM when a lady called off two names. She was wearing a mask and with the noise in the store I could hear/understand what she said. Then she called forward a lady sitting in a chair by the door of the store. She had come in way after me. I went to the desk and asked a young man this time what was going on. I told him that I had been instructed to sit at the desk and that someone would be with me, but I got passed over again. He asked me my name, then asked who told me to sit at the desk. I then told him what I thought of their customer service in no uncertain terms and walked out. Won't ever go back! They used to have a sign in books at the front door at the old location. You were able to see where you stood on the list with transparency. Not this crap now! read more

How's that possible? I am rapturous with my experience at Eyemart in Killeen, TX on January 17, 2018. They greeted me as soon as I walked in the door and checked me in promptly. I explained I was coming in before going to work, so I was on a time crunch. They were able to get me in and out within the time I desired. Amanda and the lady she was training answered every question I had with a smile on her face, and they got me set up with everything I needed. I returned later that evening, and JoJo was able to complete my glasses in a timely manor. They allowed me to stay after a few minutes and finish everything without a complaint. The staff at Eyemart have gone above and beyond for me and the other customers I encountered during my visit. Thank you for all your hard work Eyemart in Killeen! It does not go unnoticed! read more

I've been serviced in this Killeen, TX location three times now and have had great experience with a gentlemen named Cory Collins. I returned because of his customer service etiquette and in depth knowledge of lens manufactoring process within the lab environment. He is the only reason I'm giving this establishment a 4 star review. Sadly, my most recent visit on Dec 29, 2015 at 6:45pm was a completely different experience. We were disrespected and completely lied to by a "manager" in training. We drop by to pick up my most recent order and there was another representative that didn't have a uniform nor name tag, was rude and lied about our records. My wife asked for a copy of my eye prescription like previous times and he said they didn't have it. Customer service representative Mr.Collins had assisted us prior without issues and promptly inform the trainee that I had indeed turned in my prescription and that it's on file. The trainee brushed it off and directed me, did not inform me but directed me to call my doctor for a copy. He then fumbled with my glasses and ended up giving me the wrong attachments, accessories and case for my new sunglasses after I informed him that the intial case and accessories were for a different model of sunglasses. I will not be returning to this location or to eyemart franchise. I travel about for my occupation recently abroad and buy in bulk glasses and sunglasses. I inquired about such easement of ordering or purchasing glasses in different states or regions and he again lied through his teeth. I would highly recommend in house hire for managerial positions, this "trainee" lacked everything that Mr.Collins exhibit steadily through out my visits even with high work tempo and minimum manning. Really bad customer service! The wait for PICK UP is ridiculous! I waited 40 minutes, had to leave so I sent my husband back and he had to wait even longer!! They need to figure out a better system to follow for pick up. We ended up requesting a refund because the service sucked do bad. Never again will I come here. BTW I was warned about the service before I went but I figured maybe they just went on a bad day. Reading other reviews I'm seeing this is the norm for this place. This is the second time in my 35 years of age, getting my eyes checked out and this time I needed glasses. I was treated well and with respect by the doctor and staff. My insurance covered my exam, but not my prescription at this place. I was given my prescription and was told where I could get it filled that my insurance would cover. But this place had a selection like no other, and a specialty frame made by Tiffany & Co. that I wanted. So I decided to pay out of pocket for everything. The thing that made me love this place so much was the fact I was treated like a million dollars whether they knew I was going to spend my own money there or not. It is now 11:59 and they are taking people in front of me and I am writing a review on Yelp rather than getting my glasses fit. They certainly have their own pace. Unfortunately, every time I thought of going to pick them up, my stomach turned in disgust until I finally forced myself to pick up the remaining purchase of my nearly $500.00. And once again, I'm left feeling regret that I ever did business with this establishment. After :45, I received my daughters second pair of glasses and when I mentioned to Kimberley that one of the lenses didn't look crafted properly I was dismissed with "it's just the reflection, when I tilt the lenses like this the other side is the same..." I'm so disgusted. The only customer service rep that even seems to care is Dana and maybe the assistant manager Liz. I can't honestly say the actual store manager even cares.
