Would not listen to what I was looking for, explained 3 times what I wanted after getting frames, would not give me a price on what I wanted, kept pointing at his phone bragging he loves numbers, didn't care I wanted to know the price, he kept trying to change what I wanted right down to saying I didn't need bifolcols on my second pair of glasses. What a great experience! I brought in my prescription from Dr. Daniels in Central Mall (call for appointment, he's not there every day), and a tall attractive woman with long dark hair was extremely helpful. 2 pairs for under $200 out the door! By the time I ran another errand, I got a text that they were ready! Living on a fixed income, I was grateful that she steered me toward a 2 for 1 special, which was cheaper than I had paid for a single pair at LensCrafters, whose service level was terrible. A single pair of lens in my frame cost more than my completer pair of new frames and lens. That old frame they didn't have the lens and I had to wait and let them mail them, They delayed mailing them. They should have been in and out the same day they recieved them.. That was what I understood the day I paid and left the store.They didn't it took 3 days for they to get them out the door and will be over a week coming 47 miles down the interstate by some USPS 4-5th class shipping method. The manager "Brenda" talked over me ninety miles an hour was just plain rude. From the way she talked to me she must do it with all customers that have questions. No matter what the offer they are no better than any other lens maker and apparently worse. 18 reviews and 11 were 1 star. That says it all, buy at your own risk. $482.00 for one frame and two pair of lens including my insurance, I provided the superscription. I don't expect anything more than what I was promised. Employee told me my glasses would take 4-5 days. When I called to check on them I was told to check the fine print on my receipt. It said 2 weeks. Their competitors locally provide the same prescription in less than a week. Don't trust their promise of fast service. read more

Out of town we, came to get my glasses adjusted on a Saturday afternoon. Walk in, no one greets me, let alone tell me about the sign in sheet. I sat patiently for 5 minutes, walked to the counter and no one would make eye contact with me. People walk in behind me, guy yells to sign in on the board. I just called LensCrafters and left. Weird atmosphere, not sure what successful businesses don't even greet strangers when they come into your establishment. This was our first experience with Eyemart, and definitely our last!! Called them before I arrived to find out if they took our insurance, they did. So, when we arrived we were told that because we were using our insurance, we would also receive a second pair for free. I said great! My daughter is in sports, so I thought that was a good plan. Now, free to me means FREE! OH NO! Free to them means add another $50 to them because of this and because of that! Nothing, and I mean nothing, is told to you upfront! It's like they make up the rules as they go! With our insurance, we still walked out of their paying $143 for her glasses! Then after I paid, the employee tells me, well you paid so much because we are out of network for your insurance! REALLY???! Yep, never going back! I wanted to update my review from 3-8-19. After having my glasses for a couple of days I decided I would just make the best of it and use them at work however I noticed the transition lens I paid for weren't transitioning. I decided I paid for it so I'm going back. Well, I'm glad I did. Took them back on 3-18-19. After signing in and waiting (I've found the avg wait time is about 30 minutes for anything. I hate the sign in sheet.) Explained about the lenses not transitioning and the lower portion of the lens being to high the guy I spoke with (I apologize for not getting your name) took them without hesitation and also remeasured for where the dividing line should be. He agreed that it was too high and would be corrected. Then we gave Jacy a bit of a hard time. All in good fun. She's a good kid. Everyone there has been very nice and pleasant to deal with. So I'm told 4-5 days wait again on the lenses. All good. 10 days later. 3-28-19, after no call or text I decide I should call because I'm going to have an early day. I call and am told the glasses are "almost ready". Literally 4 minutes later I get the text that my glasses are done. Get there, sign in, wait... (30 minutes later). I finally get my glasses and they are correct! So I've changed the rating. I really wanted to give them 4 starts but for the long delay and the stupid sign-in sheet I just can't. We used the Fort Smith store today. We had to sign in and were told it would be a 30 minute wait. We decided to not sit in 100° sunlight and opted to visit a nearby store instead. We were told we would receive a phone call letting us know it was our time. That call never came, so 40 minutes later, we went to the door to check on the appt. They weren't ready for us yet. So, we sat another 5 minutes in the sun for our turn. They didn't call people as implied, just yelled out the door. After looking at glasses and then purchasing, our total experience time was 2 HOURS!! We received 2 text messages that the glasses were ready just 20 & 30 minutes after leaving, so we returned to pick up. They made us sign up to come in, which would take another 30 minutes. Really? We called in and had them bump us. The whole time we were in there, they had a steady stream of people picking up. Make allowances for that. Don't hold people's time hostage. We probably will not return. read more

Reasonably priced, awful service. It's understandable that you would wait to place your order, however, when picking up the glasses you have to wait 15-30 minutes. Always packed and very slow service. Especially annoyed that after taking glasses back for repair and picking them back up, they broke the same day and had to do it all over again. Currently the glasses are still there b/c every time I go in they are packed and shouldn't have to wait, again, to pick up glasses. After the warranty expires I will not be back! read more

Della was the rudest customer service person I have ever encountered. This is my first year getting glasses here & it was a mistake, my first set kept breaking finally they figured out THEY cut the lens incorrectly so gave me another better pair to make up. But these began to break at the arm BEFORE warranty was up but RUDE Della refused to honor my warranty & stated they were free glasses so she was NOT going to put my lens in a another pair of the same frames EVEN THOUGH I WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY! She was disrespectful and talked down to me. BTW my daughter bought 3 Three pairs that day!!! They made money but Della was rude to her too/no one in our family wil go to Eyemart again! I went into the store on Friday March 20,2020 because I had received an email stating that I could get 2 pair of progressive glasses for $76.92 or 2 pair of single vision glasses for $38.71. After sitting there waiting for almost 30 minutes they finally called my name and I told the lady that I was wanting to do the 2 progressive for $76.92 and I was told that she didn't recommend them because they were just regular lenses that didn't have any uv protection or anything and that what I needed to get was going to be almost $150 which is double the price of the ad. I told her that I didn't want the uv protection and she argued with me saying she just couldn't do it without the protection because it would hurt my eyes when I would go outside without the protection. I continually told her that I didn't want them I just wanted to purchase what I came to purchase and she wouldn't do it. Finally I just left and emailed the company to let them know what had happened I told them that I lived an hour and a half away from their store and drove there to get what I wanted and that it was my money my eyes and they are in the business of selling glasses but apparently they can't even do that. The company did email me back to say they would contact the store to make sure it never happens to anyone else again. And that's fine I hope it doesn't but I told them that that didn't help me one bit all I did was waste my time driving all the way up there and not getting anything i went for! And this isn't the first time that they have done this to me where I went in to purchase glasses and they say it will be one price and then they do all these add ones that they say are a must and it doubles the price. My whole family uses this store and I've even recommended friends to go there but not anymore! None of my family or friends will be going back they lost a lot of business over this! I don't see how they keep their business open with the way they do business!! read more

Walked in before another customer and the guy working there approached her first, and as she told him she didn't need any assistance, he proceeded to walk away as I was staring him down. I had to approach him and tell him I needed help and he still was stand offish. I wanted to walk out but really wanted the frames I saw online. Unfortunately, they didn't have them. I just got back from Eyemart Express and the experience was absolutely terrible. After waiting for about fifteen minutes, a woman working there called out my name for me to be helped next. Within just a few seconds, she started acting flustered and telling me that she probably would not have time for me because she was "trying to do two things at once." I told her that I wanted to replace the frame on my glasses. She pulled up my information on the computer and then told me that my frame was out of stock. I then asked for a copy of my older eye prescription to take with me and she told me that this was not kept on file. I then pointed out that this wasn't true because I could see my prescription data on the computer screen which she was actively looking at. She then told me that she still couldn't help me and that I would need to leave. I am a family doctor and have provided healthcare for this area for twenty years. I understand being busy in the workplace... but you should never treat your customers like they are a nuisance. I am never going back to Eyemart Express. read more
