HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU CHOOSE SOMEONE ELSE! We ordered 3 pair of glasses; 2 pair of Clear Glasses ... and then my eye caught a pair of Ray-Ban Sunglasses. I asked that they add a Gradient Tint and Flash Mirror Coating. They asked if I wanted them polarized and I said yes. They tallied the bill to $1,016. and some change, that is... above what the insurance paid. We paid the bill and waited for the glasses. After two weeks of not hearing back, we decided to call and find out when they would be ready. They asked for another week to which we agreed. On 01/31 (ish) ... we got the call saying our regular glasses were ready, but they were still working on the sunglasses! ((NEARLY A MONTH AFTER WE ORDERED THEM!)). Randy went to pick them up. He got our glasses and was told the sunglasses should be ready "any day now". When I got my glasses, the nose pad was so twisted out, that I could not wear them. It was so twisted I wondered if that was intentional ... because it was so twisted the were unwearable. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but what I do know is that I've NEVER seen a pair of glasses where the nose pad was so twisted that they wouldn't even sit on my face. So, I went back to have them adjusted. Rusty Harris, took them to the back and brought them back and asked me to try them. While they did sit better, he didn't adjust them to fit my face so the nose pads are still leaving little dig marks when I wear them. But, at least they were sitting level on my face. Now, I'm left waiting for "any day now" to come. After ANOTHER 2 WEEKS of not hearing from them I called to check. They assured me that it should be "any day now" so again, I agreed to wait. On Feb. 14th, I got the call they were in and are ready for pick up. So, Randy went the same day to pick them up. When he arrived, he saw that the Brown Gradient glasses I ordered were tinted blue. He told Rusty that this is not what I ordered. Rusty responded by saying, "Well, this is what's on the order". My husband said that he couldn't speak to what was on the order but he was sure I wanted brown gradient lenses because he heard me order them. Rusty Harris told him that they are blue because of the polarization on the lenses. So, he decided to bring them to me and let me see them, rather than to argue with someone that was clearly not listening. When I saw them, I was disappointed that they were not what I ordered and told Randy we would have to return them. On February 16th, I went back to the store and told Rusty Harris that these were not what I ordered to which he responded, "Well, that's what was on the order". I told him that I had no idea what was on his order because I didn't create it, but if he would go and get the lady that created the order, I'm sure she would verify that the correct order. Rusty Harris said that he would handle it (rather than get the lady that took the initial order) to which I said, fine. Then, with quite an attitude he said to me, "Now, you just need to tell me how you want me to change your order so that I can have them remade ... but I can tell you I'm only going to do it once!" to which I replied, "I don't want you to change the order, I just want you to make them the way I ordered them the 1st time ... I just want the brown gradient lenses with the flash coating that I ordered." At that point, he picked up the sunglasses and hit them on the counter and pushed them towards me and said, "You better be careful!" I didn't respond because at this point, he had me in a position where I had already paid nearly $500. for glasses that I did not want. After a minute or two of just staring at him, he finally said, "Do you want me to fix them" to which I responded, "Yes, I want you to fix them". He took them and I asked how long it would be before they were ready. He said he would have them done in about 5 or 6 days, to which I said, that's fine, I can wait another week. Once again, there was no communication from Vision Plus. So, I called again to check on them on or about February 28th to find out if they were ready. I spoke to a lady that assured me he sent the order in and was just waiting for them to come back from the lab. She said they really were expecting them "any day now" and would let me know as soon as they arrived. On March 5th, I called Vision Plus again to find out the status of the sunglasses. (This is literally 2 MONTHS after I ordered them and nearly A MONTH after I asked them to correct them). Again, they informed me that they hadn't gotten them back from the lab, but they would be there soon because the lab told her they had shipped them and they were just waiting. Front office staff do not know what they are doing. Not knowledgeable of what insurance they do and do not take. Child had appointment, insurance was given to them when appointment was made (4 DAYS PRIOR) and the day before. They were told over the phone that the insurance was Aetna. Nothing was said that they don't take Aetna. Left work early, drove 30 minutes to pick up child, drove 30 minutes back to Fort Smith. Show up for appointment 15 minutes early and notified at that time that they cannot see the child because they don't take Aetna. Asked them why we weren't notified of this prior to the appointment time. Office manager claims "the system was down and they just found out and they were just getting ready to call" - REALLY 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT FOR SOMEONE WHO LIVES OUT OF TOWN!!!! COME ON! Today they want to charge me $10 for something that has been free! Nope! I said no, no, no. So Rusty said this time will be free but next time they will charge. We love to get our exams and glasses here! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, (not too pushy with sales), and they make the sometimes complicated/frustrating parts of eye glass insurance easy. We are especially pleased with how well they are handling covid, every precaution is being taken. The doctors are great, they have a decent selection of glasses, and they always try to save us money. This place needs to be shut down! They never got my bifocal right on my glasses. After the 2nd remake i told them to just give me single vision. When I went to get my glasses I asked about a refund for the bifocal. Rusty told me my insurance paid 100% of it. Called my insurance company when I got home and there were other price discrepancies also. The lady my insurance talked to the 1st time said yes there were price discrepancies but the lady they needed to talk to wasn't there. Called back the next day and was told that the reason I didn't get my refund was because I agreed to waive it because they had to remake my glasses. Contacted the Better Business Bureau and Vision Plus will not respond back to them. The BBB also has them down as a non accredited business. read more

Drove two hours for an appointment. Showed up and said they had been "trying" to reach me to tell me the dr wasn't in today. The woman older gray hair with glasses was basically accusing me of lying that I did not receive a text or phone call from them. Not sure why I would drive two hours if I had known I wouldn't be able to get in. Super rude and did NOT call me to tell me my appointment needed to be rescheduled. I have to have my eyes examined every year because I have diabetes so I had my eyes examined at this facility for the first time and I just have to say that the girls that helped me were extraordinarily nice and the Doctor was soooo sweet. She even showed me a picture of my eyeball. She also showed me a picture of what my eye would look like if my diabetes were affecting it. I give this facility a 5 stars because none of the previous doctors I had seen did this and I am grateful for Dr. Deena and her wonderful staff. First of all, I was charged $180 for $79 "Bargain" glasses due to "special" lenses they said I needed (which reeks of Bait and Switch) It took two attempts to get my prescription right and they failed *both* times, but blamed my doctor's prescription (and both times my doctor proved them wrong.) They refused to correct their mistakes, instead telling me to leave and never come back: NO Refund, NO offer to fix the problem...simply "don't ever come back"....followed by a Gay slur. Was not the most customer service friendly lazy. I have I've been looking for my license for about a week now the first red flag with when the place called me and didn't even leave a voice message they just hung up I had to call the missed to only find out was them and then asked questions as to pick up. Went to get my glasses to only find out they had my license the hold time instead of calling right away soon as they knew knowing most folks will need they just didn't bother even when I called them back on the miss call it wasn't mentioned not very good customer service the only plus was the poor nice guy who thought he was doing good by telling he has my license as I pick up my glasses not knowing deep inside I was piss because I already paid to replace my license but I couldn't take it out on him. Please just don't go here! Worst eyes care clinic ever in Fort Smith! I am 55 years old and my family goes here twice. First thing, the front staffs/assistants are not friendly. I never seen their smiles and it likes they are not happy when seeing a clients walking in the door. The only thing they say is "How may I help you?". Then ask a bunch of question regarding your appointment, insurance... At my appointment in Sept 2016, they said they can't measure my eye prescriptions. They have to use some special eye drops to relax my eyes. A few weeks after I got my new glasses, I feel dizzy and headache when wearing for couple hours. I came back twice and explained very detail my situation. They couldn't fix it or even recheck my eyes again. They ended up refund everything related to glasses BUT doctor visit, eye exam, copay which is 140$. It didn't make sense they charge me 30$ for those eye drops without telling me before doing it. It's ridiculous that they don't refund full amount. I came to see doctor to get my eyes a glasses. They should refund me a full amount instead and apologize for the worst service. HATE IT...WORST EYE CLINIC IN FORT SMITH, AR...BEWARE DO NOT USE!!! The reason I hate this office & giving a bad review is due to the unprofessional office manager...she has NO business in customer service!!! She is a terrible, rude, unhelpful & overall just a bad person!!! Since I've had my eye exam I've had to take my glasses back to their office 5 times & no I'm not kidding...1st time I got my new glasses one of my bifocals was off in my lens...I didn't even make it from their office to the intersection of Waldron/Rogers before I got terribly sick nauseous headache just awful took them back the next day & oops they admitted which for them is shocking that the lens was wrong got them back a 2nd time but they were still not right the 3rd time I met with Amerine-Harris & they seemed better...on top of that I paid way too much for a very cheaply made frame because that same lens kept popping out on 3 separate occasions & the ooh so talented moron of a office manager actually told me she glued the screw in so it wouldn't happen again but guess what happened again!!! I went yesterday for the last time & demanded a new pair of frames & would not take no for an answer due to the fact that I've had so many issues with the frames...then the sorry excuse for an office manager said that under my warranty she would finally order me a new frame then smarted off to me real professional & told me I can go elsewhere well duh stupid did she really think I was going to come back to an office with such an incompetence, bad customer service & shoddy cheap frames, uh no thank you...very UNHAPPY customer...I strongly suggest AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE...awful!!! read more
