I have very difficult brows to work with due to my sparse eyebrows. That being said, I have gone to…read morenumerous eyebrow threading places where they messed up and I would have to let my brows grow out for months before getting them back to normal. I was desperate to find a good place for threading eyebrows a couple of years ago and stumbled upon Beautifeye in old town Scottsdale on yelp which had many positive reviews. I scheduled an appointment and by fate it was with Diana. Without even telling her how I wanted my brows (I didn't even know what I wanted because I didn't think I had many options with my difficult brows), she threaded and shaped my eyebrows perfectly! Sadly, she moved locations to a location that was very far for me and so I tried three other threaders at Beautifeye and they completely messed up on my brows. Frustrated, I decided to give Beautifeye one last shot in hopes of getting someone who does my brows as perfect as Diana did before going elsewhere. Luckily and unexpected, Diana was back and was the only reason that kept me as a customer at Beautifeye until she left to start her own eyebrow threading business! She is very sweet and easy to talk to which is only an added bonus because to say Diana is the best with brows would be an understatement! There is absolutely no one else i will ever trust with my brows but Diana! Her prices are great and her new place at the salon is such a convenient location/very easy to find! I highly suggest for anyone who is in need of finding that ONE person you can trust with your brows to give Diana a shot because I guarantee without a doubt that you will not be disappointed!!!

Diana gave me a full color & cut, and I went so far as to have Christina (I think I have her name right??!) do permanent eyeliner for me. I am so pleased to have a found a family owned & operated salon, with women who care & took care of me. I never felt like they were trying to "sell" me anything - rather, they listened to my likes & dislikes - and suggested a service they could provide. On top of it, the price is right on. I cannot say enough good about how I felt while I was there - and I've been staring at my hair & eyeliner all day. Thank you Diana & Christina! And everyone at Milla's!

Where to begin…read more.. Short review: I absolutely love Christi and her AMAZING work. My eyelashes are fabulous and always on point! She is the ONE. Look no further. Long review: The long review is for people like me who weren't aware of the process and what is and is not acceptable or normal when getting eyelashes done. Hopefully this helps save someone out there some grief. First mistake: I started getting my eyelashes done at the same Asian salon that I would get my nails done because my regular technician finally talked me into it. They put some lashes on (the most expensive option) and I liked the bolder look, but most of them would fall out after a week. I'd go back in and they'd rip (literally!) them out with tweezers after applying some gel (that burned so bad) to loosen the glue and then reapply a full set each time. Honestly and unfortunately, I hadn't done enough research to know that this wasn't normal. I was liking the dark, thick lashes and beauty was pain, right? So painfully unaware, I kept going. After a few times, I knew something wasn't right, but they kept telling me it was normal and I saw other ladies getting them done there. Finally, my lashes got so sparse, she couldn't even reapply and told me that my eyes needed a rest. I was horrified. She pulled the remaining lashes off and my eyelids were almost bald. I look back at the situation now and just blame myself for being ignorant, but fortunately learned a good lesson. Then there was Christi: I let my eyelashes rest for almost 2 months and then had an event coming up one weekend that I wanted to look great for. I contemplated lashes again, but thought I'd do some research first (She can be taught!). I found some good reviews for Christi here on Yelp. I called her with a last minute appointment request and she was not bothered at all to fit me in. I was very nervous because of my previous experience, but thought this would be my last go at it. When I showed up at her office, it was so clean and cozy. I was so comfortable and Christi was so sweet. I braced myself, just waiting for the burning glue, but no pain ever came. I was a little confused, but so happy. I was so comfortable, I am pretty sure I fell asleep at one point lol. When she handed me the mirror when she was done, I could have cried (she would have killed me for getting water on them that soon though, haha), they looked so amazing. I have been back every 3 weeks since, always a happy customer. Unfortunately again, I am searching for someone to fill those big shoes in St. Petersburg, as I just moved across the country last week. If I could have convinced Christi to move to FL, I would have packed her up! :'(

At first I thought she was awesome as she had done in 45 mins what others had done in 2-3 hours…read more However I quickly learned it was because she was using lash groupings and heavy glue. When I asked I was told it was her tears of experience, heck okay, what do I know? But it got worse and my lashes started falling out, but I had to stop bc I had nothing left to attach lashes too. Sure she recommended serum and I bought it, but what grew back, she destroyed. I did my research and sure enough it is highly recommended NOT to have group lashes glued to your lashes. I stopped going and waited 6 months before I had something for a true professional like Sexy Lexie Lashes to work with. I still have bald spots even after 6 months, but they are growing back. I just say "Buyer Beware!" Unfortunately single lashes is not what fell out, so I strongly disagree.
