I used to live in LA and would get my brows done all the time. Since moving back to the East Bay I haven't found a place I loved so stopped trying. I never go to San Pablo, but randomly had to go to the plaza today. Walked past this, saw their $5 special and said to myself, "Why not." It was fate! Great! I always never have overthreaded eyebrows when I leave here! I leave with them shapes but full. $8 is a decent price. Loxmi is the sweetest. She is very patient. They even have a business card that after 10 visits you get one eyebrow job done for free! I usually come once every month or every two months because it lasts so long! Only thing I think they need is a sign in list - it will help when it gets busy. read more

While my eyebrows came out decent. They are in no way what I wanted. I grew my eyebrows out for months do you hear me, MONTHS and I come here and she threads them down 1992 style, no one wants thin eyebrows anymore. SMH. read more

I feel pretty indifferent about this place. The first time and most recent time I came, I had a relatively good experience. The lady was cut to the chase, down to business type, so she just went to town with my full face threading. She made my eyebrows a little to thin for my liking, but in her defense, I didn't make any specific requests either. The time in between these two, I had a lady who was just rude. She just told me to sit down and as I was putting my purse down, she was telling me to sit down again. Like, I'm getting there!! She didn't do as good of a job either, leaving lots of stray hairs that I had to request multiple times to remove. In all instances, my hair growth was much faster than other experiences which is a bummer because I already have to go so often. It's OK in a pinch, but it's not my go-to. read more

I used to love this place until I went and paid with my credit card. My credit card got overcharged and I've been trying to get a refund from them for about a month with no luck. The only reason why I'm fighting for my refund is because the amount I got overcharged is a big amount. I've called them several times and they told me to come in to pick up my refund, so I went in and Sonia the employee who was there refused to give me my refund. I just called luxmie who I believe is the owner and she was very rude to me. For the minute I was with her on the phone all she said was "hang up, I have to take a call on the other line." That's not how to treat customers, specially not after you overcharge their card. If you come here beware if you pay with a card. I always paid cash when coming here and the one time I pay with a card this happens... I am writing this review to warn everyone and I will also let everyone I know that goes there to get their eyebrows done. With that being said after I get my refund back, I will NEVER be back! EDIT on 3/8/2017: I never got a refund for the amount I was over charged with... I went in again after my review to try to get it and it was still denied to me. My total was I believe $14 and I got charged $40. Almost three times the total amount... read more

It's pretty hard to find a great place to do my eyebrows but this place is amazing. I only get my eyebrows done by Laxmi because she always makes my eyebrows look how I want, she is very sweet and this place is not over priced because it's only $8! I really recommend people going to Laxmi for their eyebrows, but now her schedule is changed so she works on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
