I have been going to Dr. Ho for the last few years. Other optometrist seemed to rush through the exam, and my prescription never seemed quite right. Dr. Tram is methodical and thorough. I have never been so happy with my prescription and glasses. read more

I started going to Dr. Ho at a practice in Newport Beach a few years ago. After my first visit with her, I decided I would only go to her for my vision. Dr, Ho is very knowledgeable, thorough, personable, and patient. She has moved further away, but my family and I will continue to drive to see Dr. Ho. The BEST eye doctor in Southern California! read more

I've contacted them 4 times and no one is returning my calls. They also sold me extra scratch protection for my sons glasses and when I went to use it they said it would take 2 weeks (that my son wouldn't have glasses) and talked me out of using it basically. I was t impressed. I wouldn't recommend. read more

I've had my eyes checked before at other places and was told I needed glasses this was my first time getting them. Other places just didn't give me the confidence that they were the right provider for me. Dr Ho was amazing, spent time with me to thoroughly go through everything and answered all my questions. Not to mention they had a great selection to choose form, even some great sunglasses for my wide I highly recommend them and will be going there from here on out. read more

Dr. Sharma and Dr. Singh are gem of persons! Super friendly and kindest of all. They have a clean office, thorough with eye exams, patiently answered all of my questions, flexible with appointments weekdays and weekends and helped me find the right eyeglasses and contact lenses. After the first eye exam, Dr. Sharma said I don't need a high power. It completely blew me away knowing that I have been on higher prescription for over 18 years!!! He asked me to try the trial lenses for a week. I did and went back to make slight adjustment with the prescription, and voila I have the perfect power for my eyes now. Very thankful for the rapid fast shipping on my new Cole Haan eyeglasses upon request as well. Don't miss them out, they are doctors in true sense, not just here to make money. Salute your service!! read more

Eye Style Optometry - Optometrists Near Me - Carlsbad, California

Really enjoyed the service of Dr. Singh and Dr. Sharma. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and could tell they really wanted to provide the best solution for my frustration with Presbyopia (getting older stinks). they are growing the practice and are willing to work weekends and accommodate last minute requests to endear themselves to their patients. Totally appreciate that. read more

In an effort to patronize a small optical business instead of a large box store, I made a serious error and had eye glasses (3 pair) made at Eye Style Optometry in Carlsbad. This proved to be a major mistake! This business is overpriced and very slow on service. The actual eye exam was rushed and seemed incomplete. Their selection of frames was very minimal. Don't make my mistake, price shop before you committ to their products and slow service. Dianna I read more

I lost a contact while on vacation visiting family in San Diego. It was the day before Labor Day at around 3:00 pm in the afternoon and I had no backup contacts or glasses. I was very stressed and panicking that I wouldn't be able to see and enjoy the rest of my vacation, not to mention having to drive back to LA with only one contact so my vision would be slightly blurred. I called the nearest Optometry for replacements. Dr. Guru Sharma answered at Eye Style Optometry, I explained my situation to him and he said that's no problem and said he could meet me at the office in 10 minutes. He also said if I needed longer it was no rush and that he could wait or meet me later, but we headed over asap since he was doing me a huge favor. Him and his staff were super friendly, calm, and made me feel welcome as a customer. I did not know my exact prescription but they were able to walk me through how to retrieve the information and were very patient throughout the conversation with me which was very kind and just what I needed. The whole experience could not have been better, they had great customer service and helped out tremendously. Please schedule an appointment with them, you will not be disappointed. Thanks again to Eye Style Optometry and Dr. Guru for their professionalism, friendliness, knowledge, patience, cleanliness in the office, and for being so wonderful - I won't forget it!! :) Forever grateful, Jennifer read more

Had a great experience at EYE Style Optometry a few days ago. The doctor was very thorough -- and friendly! He re-checked my glasses prescription, measured for my contacts prescription, and recommended that I only use one contact (right eye much worse than left). So the upshot is that I am saving 50% on contacts - I would have worn them in both eyes if the doctor hadn't realized that I only needed one. The office is very nice, easy to find, and close to my home. I recommend EYE Style Optometry without reservation. read more

I am so pleased I chose Dr. Sharma as my optometrist. He is not only incredibly hard working, he is also very genuine, friendly, kind & responsive. He truly cares about his patients. He was very flexible in scheduling my appointment. He even works weekends! The office was clean and well maintained (and all sanitized). I highly recommend Dr. Sharma! read more

Lost my prescription, even question me if I really got my eye exam there. Lost paper record and have no electronic record. Seem like they don't want you to take your prescription anywhere else because when you ask for it they hesitate to give it to you. Keep calling no answer and answer machine ask you to text to get in touch asap but still nothing. Seem like they block my phone number. I used my co worker phone it has dial tone. read more

Love this office. Being someone who has had to see an optometrist since they were 9, I've had my share of optometry experiences. Dr. Sharma and his staff treated me like family. I called and they were initially full for the day - but the reception called back and said Dr. Sharma would come in early and make time to see on my lunch break. Yes! My visit was thorough - and what I appreciated is that he answered my random questions about the things he was doing, I.e. "why do you do the 1 2 thing" and "do you ever know when someone is confused and telling you the more blurry choice is the better one when you know it's not." Haha. Dr. Sharma is not only an optometrist, he's a professor as well. I love the fact that he gives back to his profession. He has a great selection of high end frames. He explains the prices and options very clearly for lenses. I was able to have a good supply of contacts before mine came in. I also referred my friend at work who was having trouble with her contacts so much that her optometrist had her wearing glasses for 4+ months. She saw Dr. Sharma who was able to fit her with a brand and dailies which stopped her eyes from having issues. She's been back in contacts since that day I really could not recommend this office more. They are very flexible and willing to go above and beyond. read more

They will not be get back to me via Messages, FaceBook, or Text. I went in a couple months ago, the doctor didn't give me my paper prescription when I left the visit, which I thought was odd. I have tried to contact them and the doctor is not getting back to me....I NEED my contact prescription to be able to order contacts. I will have to call my insurance company tomorrow to ask if I can get another exam w/ another doctor to get my prescription, since they only pay for one per year. And I will be asking for my money back for my contact exam/prescription fees. VERY FRUSTRATING! read more

I was referred to their office by a friend of mine and this was definitely the best decision I could have made. Both Tyler and Dr. Sharma we're fantastic!! Dr. Sharma was not only patient with my questions and concerns, but he provided me with valuable information about my current eye health and options for maintaining the health of my eyes over time. Tyler was also very patient with me as we discussed my insurance coverage options and selecting the PERFECT frames without making me feel rushed. I felt that they cared about what was important to me and they weren't just trying to get me out of the door with a product that wasn't right for me. I left feeling taken care of! I can now see a crystal clear version of the world! Thank you both so very much!! read more

The nicest staff! So glad i didn't go to Costco for my prescription. Dr. Sharma and Barbara were just so helpful. They stayed later than usual because it took a while getting used to my new contacts. They gave me a really good discounted rate! They definitely went above and beyond to help me out and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend! read more

I and my family just moved to Carlsbad a few months ago and we have been looking for a good eye doctor in the Carlsbad area. We found this place and went in for an appointment , Dr.Sharma helped us pick new frames and we paid for expedited service. He told us we could pick up our glasses in 2 weeks, and he would text/call us when they were ready to pick up. Now 2 MONTHS latter and he did not respond to 1 text, nor answer any of my calls. Extremely terrible service! This was such a terrible experience so to save yourself some time and money DO NOT come here. read more

If you're looking for a knowledgeable, caring optometrist, Dr. Sharma is your guy!!! I called late afternoon yesterday and was able to get an appointment for today at the Carlsbad location. It had been 7 years since I got an eye exam, Dr. Sharma made this experience awesome for me! He answered all of my questions, helped me pick the best pair of frames for me, while also helping me stay in my spending range. Not only will I be returning for my own needs but will also be bringing my family back and recommending him to my friends! read more

The office was clean and well maintained. Great service, Dr. Sharma was very friendly and informative. He discussed pricing beforehand so there were no surprises, and did not push me into purchasing any particular frames or lenses. I was interested in a different color on a frame I liked, and he promptly contacted the manufacturer got back to me with pricing and availability. read more

Great services, lots of variety for frames, takes VSB insurance. Glasses came in sooner than promised. Please check them out.

They were able to see me same day as I called to make an appointment. Upon arrival I was answered to all the questions I asked. Dr. Helped me figure out my insurance plan and helped with the process. It was fast and easy and he was very helpful and kind. This place is great and accommodates to your needs. read more

No regard whatsoever to the costumer! The first appointment was fine. Glasses ordered, paid over 500 dollars for two pairs. Two weeks later I receive a text (they do not answer phone calls, seems like it is a business solely focused on millennials and onward, they only function by text messaging) letting me know my glasses are ready. Next day I go pick them up within store hours, they are closed, try calling, no answer, try texting, no answer (no ven when their answering machine says by text you'll receive immediate response), waited half an hour, nothing! No text, no call, nothing! In the evening I receive an apologetic text in which I am newly i formed I need to set an appointment for pick up. We set an appointment for 11am this mornin. it is 11:30 and nothing. another apologetic text expressing they are 15 minutes away. No respect for costumer's time. No respect for keeping appointments. This is THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL medical practice I have ever encountered. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! When the Dr. finally arrives I will ask for a refund, instead of picking up my glasses. Worse service, terrible communication skills, no notice to clients about business shutting within their established open hours. Leaving without my glasses, instead with a refund. read more
