Easy-stress free Experince !…read more From day one I entered to get an estimate and share the damage with them about my car. I called many of the other stores in the area, and the store was the only one able to receive my car in a weeks notice. They were a courteous and very friendly receptionist shared good story with me & offered me a drink and a pick up to call enterprise to pick up my rental car on the day of the drop off. Everything is really good about this place, everything done very well; from their service to their professionally done work. The only feedback I have and could be based on them being busy so I'll give them the benefit of doubt, they don't communicate updates unless you called them orders orders near completion there were a few things and changes in the initial estimate which was double the estimate I wasn't aware until the day of the pick up. I also asked for a part from my car to be fixed that wasn't part of the damage and it was just something cosmetic from the past and they said they would fix it but then they weren't able to and they said they thought I didn't approve. But it in general it is important to highlight that their communication is very well and Taylor was amazing at responding either through text or through phone communication on any issue or any concern and welcome to come back for any issue and coming back and I was traveling so from my friend picked up my car. They were very few interior pieces that were not put back that it took on another quick visit to put back in place and a few scratches by the door that I'm very confident that were in there but they're very flexible I believe so. P.S I will add photos soon

My car is a special edition with a special paint and they matched it perfectly. She looks brand new. And the best surprise was when I picked her up they had detailed the inside AND the outside. What they didn't know was that I was planning on selling the car as soon as I picked it up because I needed the money. The detailing was sooo good that it sold in just a couple of days! And the car was FILTHY! I have two huge white dogs so there was hair and drool everywhere. They must have spent so much time making it look good. What a nice touch for their clients to get their vehicle back spotless. Thank you guys so much!

The most recent repair, there was a dispute about insurance payments (over $50 which we had already paid and insurance would not reimburse believing the shop had double-billed), and they refused to reasonably work with us and facilitate resolution with the insurance company. We gave up trying to get the $50 back and wrote a letter expressing our concerns to the shop and received no response. After we spent thousands of dollars there in the last year and have referred many people to the shop, they were willing to lose our business and future referrals over $50. They do good work but lack in customer service and communication.

I've had my mini van repaired here, and my door fixed after Honda was an absolute fail! Wanting a second opinion, I brought my van here--and I am extremely glad that I did. From the beginning, Gary was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. He took the time to thoroughly evaluate the problem, give me an estimate on repair time (same day), and answer all of my questions. Not only was he able to successfully repair my door, but the quality of the work and cost exceeded my expectations. Did I mention they were a 1/4 price compared to the dealership? The door functions perfectly, and the repair was completed with great attention to detail. This is NOT the same Don's Body Shop anymore. They replaced a front bumper and did not know how to…read morematch the paint. They said because the bumper is plastic and the car is metal, the colors will not match. They said that they used the original color that was originally used on the car. They also said that the car had been repaired before. Excuse after excuse for not doing it right. The colors did not match. Even the insurance adjuster said the colors did not match. After I pressed the issue and told them it was not acceptable as is. They agreed to repaint the bumper. Now the bumper matches the car. However, they would not pay for a rental car for the extra four days it took to make the bumper right. The receptionist is very friendly. However, Greg should not be in the customer service business. He would not admit that there was a mistake, never apologized for my inconvenience, and never even said thank you! It should have been right the first time. I told the receptionist that I was going to write a negative review about my experience and about how Greg was so rude, unprofessional, unwilling to make things right, never apologized, and never even thanked us. She said he is a character. I would have asked to speak with the manager, but, He Was Sitting In The Same Room and heard everything that was going on and Never offered to assist or speak with me!! I have used Don's in the past with much success. However, I will not be bringing them my business in the future and I cannot recommend them. There are many good choices of Body Shops in Rocky Mount, Stay away from Don's. (Insurance paid for the rental car for the initial work to the car. However, of course, they would not pay for the extra four days to repaint the bumper that was painted the wrong color by Don's. I believe Don's should have paid for the rental car as this was clearly their mistake) See pictures below of what they thought was a good job, and refused to make it right until I said it was unacceptable and refused the car until it was right. After a lot of back and forth, they never returned my calls, the car is finally fixed with matching paint. Note, that they Never called me to inform me of the progress of my repair or the lack of progress. I had to initiate every call. Even when my car was ready the second time, I called to see if it was ready since it was already the forth day of a 3-day repair. I was told that they are pulling it around right now. LOL I really doubt that. Show less
