They offer a 10c per gallon discount on fuel, which usually makes them the cheapest. And inside, snacks and drinks and hot dogs and coffee. All usually very well stocked, fresh and ready. My only gripe is that the umbrella don't really block out the sun in that situation. --Service/Staff-- No interaction with the staff, but no issues and they kept the place tidy. --Products-- Grabbed the usual gas and ice. Typical Sheetz, which was kept clean and tidy. --Capacity-- I saw maybe 8 or 10 gas pumps. No crowds or lines waiting to get gas. --Overall-- Recommended Sheetz setup which was easy to get food and gas and be on the go.

With the store having a vast parking lot area, I really don't like the parking right in front of the store because of all the traffic from the fuel pumps using that area to get in and out of line, but it is what it is. It would be cool to see them add some options at pumps for non-ethanol fuel.

So, it's decent for good gas prices and a bottle of water, some chips or beef jerky!

We use Flying J almost exclusively for our RV fueling and waste dumping needs and have enjoyed many good night sleeps in the RV quiet areas. While the Carmel Church pump out area was clean, very serviceable, and the windshield washing fluid buckets full I can only give this location two stars due to the obnoxious load speaker volume.

There was no towel dispenser so no towels. The soap was a broken plastic bottle laying on the floor under the sink. (See pic) The urinal was out of service as well. And appeared to be that way for some time based on how dirty the shield they used to block it off. The person before me had dropped a deuce so obviously no way they washed their hands. Touching that door handle to get out was quite disgusting. Shell management should get in there and clean this place up.

There are two Wawa locations in the Ashland, VA area. This one is my preferred stop because it is…read moremuch easier to access from Interstate 95. The other location is farther from an exit and requires navigating multiple roads and intersections. This Wawa is located on Sliding Hill Road (State Route 656), Exit 86B off Interstate 95. It is the first exit north of the Interstate 295 junction. Having not stopped since Maryland, I headed straight to the men's room, which was clean. Wawa provides separate restrooms for men and women. The men's room includes a handicapped-accessible stall, a urinal, one sink, and an air dryer. It was clean, though not spotless. I grabbed a hazelnut coffee from the coffee bar, which was generally well stocked, although they were running low on half-and-half--one container was empty and the other nearly so. I did not see a coffee station attendant at the time. I also picked up a SIZZLI sausage croissant with egg and cheese from the warmer. It was good. I used the self-checkout, and the process was quick and uneventful. Overall, this is a nice store with friendly staff. I've stopped here before and will likely return.

Gas is typically comparable to the surrounding area which skews slightly cheaper than if you head further down 95. The store is clean, well stocked organized etc etc. This location carried a bunch of the harder to find TY Beanie Boo plushies for a while, which helped my children bulk up their collection significantly. But the real reason this particular location is special to me is the [recently discontinued, RIP] free Slurpies on July 11 literally culminated in my daughter making a bff, and my son finding his soulmate. When the woman's bathroom was occupied…read morefor a LONG period of time, I asked one of the two women working behind the counter (the Caucasian woman) if they knew if someone was in the women's bathrtom & she snapped back, "it couldn't be locked unless someone is in there!" So, after about 15 minutes I had my husband watch the men's room & I used it. It was filthy, covered with urine all the floor, filthy sink, toilet & walls. As I came out I told the two women how awful the bathroom was. The same white woman was super rude & made a comment to a customer, obviously the one in the women's bathroom & an acquaintance, about my Service Dog, a Jack Russell, saying to the woman, "They're mean dogs", as she walked outside with the woman. The other woman behind the counter, a sweet Hispanic woman, was very respectful & quite embarrassed by her coworker's disrespectful comment. That bathroom should be maintained & the two women had plenty of downtime to clean it. I've been in portable potty's cleaner than this wretched place. 7-11...clean your place up!
