It's right next to the interstate so you know that you're not going to be detouring miles from the highway. There's going to be a roomy pump area so it's easy to get in. They offer a 10c per gallon discount on fuel, which usually makes them the cheapest. And inside, snacks and drinks and hot dogs and coffee. All usually very well stocked, fresh and ready. I've had a dirty Love's restroom here or there, but that was not the case today. Clean and stocked. Excellent. [Review 1161 of 2025 - 1519 in Virginia - 24714 overall]

Extremely disappointing experience at Sheetz in Ladysmith/Ruther Glen. I usually expect quick and…read moreconvenient service from Sheetz, but this visit was frustrating from start to finish. The service was very slow, and the overall experience was not what I expected. After waiting for my order, I went to pay and my total was around $18. I handed the cashier a $100 bill, but when I received my change back, the amount was incorrect. When I brought it to his attention, he claimed that I had only given him a smaller bill. I know what I handed over, and it was upsetting to have my concern dismissed instead of having the situation properly looked into. What made the experience worse was the lack of accountability and customer service. A simple mistake can happen, but the way it was handled made me feel like I was being accused rather than helped. I was left feeling frustrated and disappointed, especially after already dealing with the slow service. I hope management reviews this situation and works on improving both the speed of service and how payment disputes are handled. Customers should feel respected and confident when making a purchase, and unfortunately, this visit left a very negative impression. I will think twice before returning to this location.

So, after about 15 minutes I had my husband watch the men's room & I used it. It was filthy, covered with urine all the floor, filthy sink, toilet & walls. As I came out I told the two women how awful the bathroom was. The same white woman was super rude & made a comment to a customer, obviously the one in the women's bathroom & an acquaintance, about my Service Dog, a Jack Russell, saying to the woman, "They're mean dogs", as she walked outside with the woman. The other woman behind the counter, a sweet Hispanic woman, was very respectful & quite embarrassed by her coworker's disrespectful comment.
