Extremely disappointing experience at Sheetz in Ladysmith/Ruther Glen. I usually expect quick and convenient service from Sheetz, but this visit was frustrating from start to finish. The service was very slow, and the overall experience was not what I expected. After waiting for my order, I went to pay and my total was around $18. I handed the cashier a $100 bill, but when I received my change back, the amount was incorrect. When I brought it to his attention, he claimed that I had only given him a smaller bill. I know what I handed over, and it was upsetting to have my concern dismissed instead of having the situation properly looked into. What made the experience worse was the lack of accountability and customer service. A simple mistake can happen, but the way it was handled made me feel like I was being accused rather than helped. I was left feeling frustrated and disappointed, especially after already dealing with the slow service. I hope management reviews this situation and works on improving both the speed of service and how payment disputes are handled. Customers should feel respected and confident when making a purchase, and unfortunately, this visit left a very negative impression. I will think twice before returning to this location. read more

Had to make a quick pitstop on my way down to Virginia Beach so this Sheetz was it! Bathroom, parking lot, and store was clean. It had my favorite kind of water. The cashier was absolutely lovely and charming. Just with the kind interactions I had with her makes me want to return again. read more

--Location/Parking-- Easy one of the best rest stop along the highway in Virginia. Parking along the side and front. There was enough parking for 10-12 vehicles. Can be difficult to turn left onto the highway. --Ambience-- Similar Sheetz layout except they have a door specifically for the to-go kitchen which was unique. There were outdoor seatings along the side. I counted like 5 outdoor patio seating. My only gripe is that the umbrella don't really block out the sun in that situation. --Service/Staff-- No interaction with the staff, but no issues and they kept the place tidy. --Products-- Grabbed the usual gas and ice. Typical Sheetz, which was kept clean and tidy. --Capacity-- I saw maybe 8 or 10 gas pumps. No crowds or lines waiting to get gas. --Overall-- Recommended Sheetz setup which was easy to get food and gas and be on the go. read more

Prices of coffee arw me ridiculous. New WaWa customer here. Pretty ces never consistent.

Stopped for fuel and decided to walk in. Interesting order system, only automated. Standard C-store assortment. I'm an onion ring fan, so I ordered the "onion petals" item, which was prepared quickly. Like a wide cut onion string, which is good, with way too much batter, which is bad. I might as well have eaten fried batter. read more

I recently visited this Sheetz location and was disappointed by the lack of cleanliness throughout the property. The trash bins in the bathrooms, outside, and by the gas pumps were overflowing and emitted a strong, unpleasant odor. This not only created an unappealing environment but also raised concerns about hygiene and overall maintenance. I typically expect better from Sheetz, and I hope management addresses this issue soon to ensure a more pleasant experience for future customers. But I'll still say sheetz are amazing convenient store that I would love to go every time I travel for vacation! read more

Sheetz is a big enough company that there should be no reason for filth! Every store I have been in has dirty bathrooms!! Hire cleaning staff!!! read more

The manager told me and 5 other people that we could park there to hear the Buddhist monk speak up the road following today's length of their walk for peace. He saw where we parked and said nothing to us as we walked up the road. He then immediately called and had us towed. Any organization that puts that caliber of person in a manager position is undeserving of future business. WAWA has better coffee anyway. read more

Bought a carton of Marlboro lights today, spent over $100.00 on them but the cashier didn't give me a receipt. Didn't really care because I don't usually needa receipt anyway. Got home, opened them and they are so stale the tobacco falls out of the cigarette, they are very crunchy and burn my mouth when I smoke them. Even though I bought them today, the manager says without a receipt he can't exchange them or refund me my money. You would think since it was just a few hours ago he could rewind those tapes and see me buying them but that's work so he just refused to help. Don't buy cigarettes at this gas station and if you do, make sure you have your receipt when you have to take them back. Just another store here in Ladysmith that couldn't care less about selling good products. Definitely will be shopping across the street at WaWa from now on. read more

Just the typical Sheetz on the highway... Somewhat messy and disheveled, unkept, but decent gas prices. Restroom was ok. The nice thing is it's right off the highway in a non-busy area, so it's quick and easy to get in/out and back on your way. read more

they half a** their food here, if you want a breakfast sandwich that was supposed to be toasted but was soggy instead then this is your place. if you like only 1 ketchup packet with a big thing of tater tots then here you go! Get better cooks or teach them how to use simple kitchen machinery. Tater tots were good though read more

Stunningly well designed new Sheetz gas station off exit 110 has it all: sparkly clean convince store ( w spacious isles, high ceilings & lots of natural light flooding in), plenty of cute indoor & outdoor seating, a drive-thru window, attractive landscaping, and [presumably temporary/introductory] low low LOW fuel prices. This is my new favorite gas station. read more
