I have tried several other escape games in the surrounding area and found this one to be the best by far! The team at Extreme Escape are fun, entertaining, accommodating and really add to the overall experience. We had five on our team (all my family members) and we did the United Escapes of America which is based on identifying if the FBI agent is really a spy. It was fun and had many twists and turns that kept us all engaged. My other escape game experiences involved those participating in the game being monitored and given clues as needed through the television. However, in this experience there is actually a member of the staff in the room with you to give clues (you are allowed 3 free and then any additional deduct minutes from your time). I prefer this approach much better and our "Agent" that led our team was extremely engaging and funny. This provided for a more personal experience. Lastly, after you leave the room there is a "debriefing" where your "Agent" provides observations of each team members interactions and contributions during the game. It was a fun way to end the activity and interesting to see what each team members strengths were during the game from an observers point of few. I admit during the game itself you are racing against time and it can get a little intense, especially if you have competitive people on your team, so to be able to sit back and hear what each team member contributed was enlightening. What happens when you lock 14 3rd grade Girl Scouts in an Extreme Escape Game! FUN, Teamwork and lots of high pitched screams & giggles. Personally I have done many escape rooms from different companies but this was my first time at Extreme Escape Games - it won't be my last. The staff was great for so many reasons and the experience was - since we were a large group of kids the worked with us on which was the best room for their size and maturity. - the introduction to the rules & room is different than most escape rooms. The group was seated in a theater room so they are not distracted by the room and can listen. Excellent for kids - the moderator of the game is in the room with you. That was very helpful with kids - the room was elaborate and full of surprises ( no spoilers sorry) - in the end the moderator shared 1-2 things each girl did to succeed. This was great for all of them because it showed that they all worked together to win AND they all also succeeded on their own. I will be going back with my family to play another room. read more

This place is awesome! Had my daughter's 12th birthday party there yesterday and it was perfect. We had to reschedule due to weather and they were so kind and easy to work with. We loved having an interactive thing to do for the kids that was more grown up than a bounce house and the fact that they had party room made it so easy to play the game and then have cake. At the end, our game master (Cole he was great) told us a few things each person did to help us escape making each child feel like they helped. It made it so fun for the kids. I would recommend this place as my favorite escape room location (I've done a few in Nashville and other cities) and would happily do another game there soon! Best experience in an Escape Room we've ever had. The owner, yes I said owner, actually went above and beyond to make our time there incredible. We went there for my wife's 45th b-day with the kids, and originally they had told us that they weren't going to be able to have a "live" zombie in our room since they were booked solid and didn't have enough staff to have a live person. We were totally fine with that and still wanted to do the room. After hearing that, the owner, once again I said owner, decided he would be the zombie and chase us around the room. That was an amazing room and soooooo much fun, especially after the zombie entered and chased the kids around. Wow. I'm not usually a review guy but this place deserves it. Our process to book was super easy, 4 min on a phone call and we were set. Once we arrived we played a magician themed room and let's just say it's been my favorite escape room out of probably 20 I've played. Their customer service is unmatched. Wanna shout out the young man who helped us along. Tall, green eyed skinny guy with a contagious smile. Really appreciate you helping me and my family have a great day out. He took notes on my family as we played and then went over it all at the end. That was the cherry on top for my kids. They got to hear all the fun things they forgot about doing while in the room LOL! Needless to say we'll be back soon!! read more

Best Escape Room in the Nashville Area!! I have been to several escape rooms across the country and this one is fantastic. It is themed so well you feel like you are walking into a mad scientist's lab. It sparks with electricity and sounds like you could create all kinds of things to experiment on. I talked to the owner and they have more themed rooms coming (zombies and spies)). We got to peak at them and they are fantastic. They have it set up so anyone can play but I would not bring any kids under 8 or so. Some of the puzzles might be a little too hard for them. Its a perfect for a guys night out, office team building, birthday party, or just want to enjoy an hour of great fun. read more

Extreme escape games is without question the best escape room in all of Nashville. I have done many games but this place is one of a kind. If you have never done an escape game, this has to be the one you do first. It is kind to first-timers and great for experienced players. You will leave this escape room completely amazed by its gadgets and added "wow" factor. The live actor rooms have an extra scare factor that is whole-heartedly unique. We had so much fun at the most amazing escape games ever! We love family bonding and had the best time with Nick as our game host! What a blast. These guys work hard to make the adventure top notch. Our 9 year old was a major contributor in our success, as was her big sister (15). Disappointed at first that others were in our group, this is challenging enough that you need more than four. "Divide and conquer" was key to our escape, working multiple puzzles at any single moment, yet barely beating the clock. The intensity at final countdown is palpable. Wow! This was my first time doing anything like this and I will definitely be back! So many details, nothing was left out. We came with our office as a team building experience and I can't wait to come back with friends. Had a blast here on my Birthday with my wife and neighbors.... And luckily we finished with 33 seconds left! Good times, fun staff, I highly recommend it! The only downfall and reason for -1 star was the toy guns we had to use were not working well at all, and we were told this has been an issue. If it's been an issue, then please fix it! I would have been quite annoyed if we didn't solve it after we wasted minutes trying to get the ammo to shoot out of these toy guns. read more

We don't often do team building activities like this, and it was a great opportunity to work as a team and also let loose and share some laughs out of the day to day environment. I just went today for the third time time, and I will keep coming. Each time that I go it has been more and more fun. The staff here is amazing, Nick is the manager and he has treated me and all the other guests very nicely and respectfully. All the staff have been awesome. I have a great time each time I go. You will not believe it. I get to the Extreme Escape Games and I meet Samuel. When I get into the room I get scared. Never before in my life have I felt this way before. Samuel was there to comfort me, he let me understand that the zombie wasn't real and got me to the first lock. Sadly I never finished the first lock because I was understandably afraid of Gracie and her wonderful acting skills. I would rate this experience a 10/10 if I could. read more
