Ranjeet responded quickly to our issue and let us know the date and time frame he would be able to come out. He was able to diagnose and refill our Freon in our unit within that time frame, which we immediately noticed a difference in the AC before we left. Our unit is almost 30 years old during the times Ranjeet came out, he did not try to push a new unit on us and was able to deliver great options within our budget. He also let us know what issues to look out for in the future or when it might be a good time to look into a new unit. But prior to Ranjeet, we've had companies not diagnose a thing and would just push a new unit quote on us. So it is refreshing to see someone who wants to take care of the customer with honesty and communication. Overall, Ranjeet is a top notch owner. He is very kind, honest and most importantly, seems genuine. He even remembered little details of our conversation from 3 years ago. So without any hesitation, we would 100% recommend RS Heating and Cooling for any of your heating/cooling needs!

I knew the problem was a bad blower motor, but by the time they had diagnosed it, it was a $20,000 bill. Now, I'm not the smartest guy in the. World, but I've been around long enough to know when someone is trying to replace the whole car, when it only has a flat tire...if you know what I mean. They did relent and say they would just replace the motor for $1400. Well again,I didnt just fall off of the turnip truck, so I paid them the $99 and sent them on their way to try and find another sucker. I called a more local company who showed up today, had the part on their truck, installed, without absurd upselling and was done in an hour or so. For $700. Case closed. THIS IS A PART TWO TO OUR REVIEW…read more.. The next morning my daughter shared with us that her room was really warm. It was uncomfortable to sleep in. At that time we checked all of the vents. The living room and kitchen had cold air being forced out. The three bedrooms had cold air barely coming out. The two bathroom had almost warm air coming out. When the guy arrived I didn't say anything. Again wanted to give the guys the benefit of the doubt or the chance to discover the issues and resolve during the inspection. The morning continued on. Late morning around 10:30AM Tim called his guy. The call was on speaker. The guy was explaining to Tim that he couldn't find the wire. The guy said he looked for over 1.5 hours today alone for it. He went into more details. Tim showed up 15 mins later. Between the two of them the wire was found within 30 mins and they moved along. It's now 11:30 and Tim tells my husband and myself that they're going to lunch. Someone would be back after lunch to wrap up some stuff on the roof. We said okay and then I mentioned the issues that were having when the AC is on. That it's extremely uncomfortable cold in the living room and kitchen. It's so cold it almost makes your skin hurt if you're standing under the vent. I laughed and said totally do not want to complain about that asides from the rooms are a noticeable different temperature. I went into a deeper explanation of the rooms. Tim replies in complete irritation that he's had to do so much work here. That he replaced everything. I told Tim that we're grateful for all of the work that's been done but the way it is can't not be the way that it is left. Tim explained again that he's already explained what's been done up there. I told him again that we are thankful but wanted to know if he going to address the flow issue. He said that will cost extra. He will do the work but he's not doing anymore work unless we want to pay more. I asked Tim so you're saying how the flow was last night is how your leaving it. Tim said yes. I don't mind fixing the issue if you don't mind paying for the work to be done. So now I'm sitting here with not knowing what to do. We've never replaced a AC unit so I called my two friends that have recently used Tim for AC services. Both stated that when the inspector comes out Tim will have issues. That should be included in the replacement of the unit. So I'm a little relieved. My friend said just be careful because Tim was asked by my husband that he wanted a permit but Tim never pulled one. Someone that we got a quote from reported Tim and the inspector came out and that's when Tim pulled the permit. No one has came to our home for a inspection. At least I haven't seen anyone. Tims guy is suppose to be coming today to clean off what's left on top of the roof. I'll be asking him a few questions. Based on his response I'm either getting this issue fixed at that time or calling the city to see why the inspector hasn't been here to inspect the work.

This is after we had another company come out and tell us that the evaporator coil was broken. We contacted Roo's because they are a Lennox specialist. Our unit stopped working in July and we contacted them about getting our AC repaired. John N. came off as helpful and responsive to our concerns and said he was going to come out on Monday. Monday comes and we get a phone call saying that he looked over the report from the last time someone came out and that he could tell the evaporator coil was indeed broken. He sent an estimate for what that was going to cost to get fixed. While on the phone with him we told him that we thought the motor on the unit might be broken as well and that we would like him to come out and check on that so we could get everything fixed at once. He stated that it wouldn't be necessary for him to come out and that it could be worked out when he came on Wednesday to repair the unit. Wednesday comes and John N. sends two technicians but doesn't show up himself. They finish the evaporator coil repair and try to turn on the unit. The motor is indeed broken. John N calls and lets me know that we have to wait two more days for the part and that it is going to cost extra money. Mind you all these parts are under warranty. I tell him that I think extra cost should not be put on my family because of mistakes the company has made up to this point. I call the office upset that now I have to wait two more days for the repair and this is after I asked John N to come out and check this specific part that ended up being broken. All of this after I had someone come out in March and told me everything was fine. I ask to talk to the owner and get told he will contact me. I have to call again the next day and still don't get in contact with the owner. I am told that the company wants to make this right for me. Friday comes and a new technician is scheduled to come out, John Y. He is friendly and gets to work. He finishes up and gives me the total bill which includes labor for the motor. I tell him that I don't feel like this is making things right and that someone had told me that I wouldn't be charged for that when I called the day prior. He calls the manager and I finally get to talk to him. I explain everything that has happened and he initially offers me a discount. I tell him that I don't feel like this is fair compensation for all the stress I have been through. I had to find someone where else to stay for 3 extra days because of a lack of communication due to his employees. He tells me that he is going to get to the bottom of the situation and will call me back. He calls back shortly and tells me that he recognizes all my concerns and that he is going to take off the charge for the labor for the motor. I really appreciate that he took the time to listen to my concerns and feel like he did right by my family. I will continue to use this company to do check ups and repairs because I appreciate that while mistakes were made, in the end they did right by their customers and took ownership for it.
