Some background: I have a 6 month old Shih Tzu/Bichon mix who seems to grow hair faster than any other dog I've had. He somehow got pretty matted on his legs and despite our best efforts to brush him, his last groomer told us our only option was to shave it all off. I texted Posh Pets and they were great about scheduling a time, arriving on time and making my puppy feel comfortable. The retailer's refusal to address the issue initially and their policy of not providing refunds for defective items appears unreasonable and potentially violates consumer protection laws. I read the reviews for Stinky's about doing nails for dogs that are, let's say... persnickety. That sold me... I had to give it a try. In order to get this job done, it took 4 people. Me, my husband, Jo-Ann, and her assistant... but, it DID get done. And my dog was fine - all nails neatly trimmed, no other muss or fuss. I was able to get an appointment here for the day after I called. The outside of the shop is unassuming and the inside front has a counter and a hang out area for the pups. I dropped my girl off and let them know she hates bath time and the drier. I am always so nervous leaving her with someone new but they seemed very friendly. About an hour later I got a text saying my girl was done. They said she didn't have any issues with the water or the drier! I also had them grind her nails, and they're great. The groomer I used to use would sometimes leave a sharp edge when they did the grinding, no edge here. When I arrived to pick up my girl she was laying in the sun in the pup hang out area and had the cutest bandana and stickers! One of the best parts was being able to pay via Venmo! Hello!!
