They estimated a 5-hour move with three men, and on the day of the move, they arrived promptly at 8 AM, worked efficiently, and completed the move-out by 1 PM. The move-in process at my new home started at 1 PM and wrapped up around 3 PM. Throughout the day, the team was respectful, careful with my belongings, and truly seemed to go the extra mile. I was so appreciative of their hard work that when the team lead, Sergio, requested a cash tip, I went to the ATM and withdrew $500 -- $200 of which I gave directly to the crew as they finished up. Unfortunately, this is where my experience took a sharp turn. I placed the remaining $300 in my purse, consisting of one $100 bill and $200 in $20 bills. After noticing the sky open up around 2:30 PM with heavy rain, I felt even more sympathetic to their efforts and decided to give them an additional $100. When I went to retrieve the money, I was shocked to find my purse had been disturbed and only $100 (in 20's) remained. To make matters worse, when I returned to my old apartment to finish cleaning, I found a pile of belongings left behind. Despite paying for a full-service move, it seems the crew simply decided some of my things weren't worth taking. The lack of communication and care was beyond frustrating. And if all of that wasn't enough, after providing my email address multiple times, I still have not received an itemized receipt, invoice, or a clear breakdown of charges. The final bill came to $2,145 -- almost twice the original estimate -- leaving me furious. After deducting the $100 deposit, I owed $2,045. I understand that moving is tough and unexpected factors can arise, but the dramatic increase in cost combined with the apparent theft, lack of accountability, and poor service left a lasting impression. I cannot in good conscience recommend All My Sons dba "New City Moving." While the physical labor of the move was well done, the lack of integrity and professionalism by at least one member of the crew completely ruined the experience. If you decide to use this company, I strongly advise keeping your valuables secured, double-checking that all your belongings are loaded, documenting all interactions, and following up on the communication regarding your charges.

We didn't notice this with all things going on until the next day. We called , and they happily agree to send a person out to fix it the next day. They apologized, and the service guy was polite and had to unassembled & reassembled it the right way and did so without any fuss, In their defense, there was no manual so they had to investigate to see the problem. Everyone quoted me incredibly ridiculous rates to move this one item. Granted I knew the job needed 4 strong guys to move it but upwards of $1k I was quoted. Nope. Considering I was paying less than 1/4 of that price to buy the actual table from someone. From the get go, they answered their phones(several companies on yelp did not) and quoted very very reasonable rates and were friendly to work with. There was quite a bit of back and forth with the scheduling to do the move but I blame that on the holidays being the same week. Once we finally set the day for the move, the 4 guys including the owner showed up in the moving truck ready to go. They moved the top and base of the table in no time flat but were extra careful not to do any damage to the table or the surrounding walls or area they were moving it from and to. They were observant of any defects or damage already on the table and actually pointed out a corner of the base of the table was chipped off and had been glued on but came off when they went to pick up the table. No big deal but great they pointed it out before they moved it. I give them great credit for hauling that heavy table and the base down 20 inside steps going down from second floor and then another 15 outdoor steps going down. Not an easy task but they executed it well. They made sure to wrap the table top and base up and secure it properly in the truck for transport. When we arrived at my house, they were just as careful bringing in the base and making sure it was where I wanted it and then bringing in the table top. They were friendly and cool and actually ended up knowing my friend who had met me at my house to help just in case. They knew each other from high school. Small world. Anyways, the price was exactly what was quoted no games about time or mileage or anything like the other companies. And I ended up tipping them on top of it because I was so pleased with them. Highly recommend booking the labor guys if you need to have items especially heavy items moved. A++
