The foreman was polite, professional, and did his best, but the rest of the crew did not seem adequately trained or attentive. They took furniture apart and put screws and hardware in their pockets instead of giving them to me so I could bag and label everything. They completely disconnected the power cords from our reclining couches and failed to keep the components together. Several boxes were dropped during the move, and one of our bookcases was damaged because it was dragged across landscaping rocks instead of being wheeled across the asphalt. Truck space was used inefficiently, so not all of our belongings fit. We ended up having to rent a U-Haul and move the remaining items ourselves, which completely defeated the purpose of hiring movers. At the new house, things became even more frustrating. The crew didn't listen to instructions, ignored clearly labeled boxes, and paid no attention to the labels posted on the doors identifying each room. Instead of placing items where they belonged, they piled everything wherever there was space, creating unnecessary work for us afterward. Overall, the move felt chaotic from beginning to end. I repeatedly gave instructions that were ignored, and I never felt heard or respected as the customer. While the foreman was courteous, the overall experience was careless, disorganized, and disappointing.

We all sat outside of the facility while I called and texted the owner with no response. I did not get a response. I didn't know what to do, so I asked them if they knew of any other storage facilities in the area. Miguel and Zeke went above and beyond by finding me an available unit in the area, getting me into contact with the storage facility manager and we were up and running again. That was far above their job duties and I appreciate them going above and beyond and helping me. I will be using Two Men and a Truck for moving from here on out. Outstanding work all around.

While our moving…read morecoordinator was a very nice gentlemen with lots of experience, he wasn't responsive to our inquiries during the period from signing the contract to packing/loading, particularly concerning zeroing in on a "delivery" window so that we could make temporary housing arrangements in Tucson (particularly an issue because we were traveling with 2 dogs . . . .), and didn't make any attempt to make sure we understood what a "binding" quote meant or what "packing" meant, with the result in both cases that we did a number of things we really didn't need to do. The company did request at the last minute that we shift the loading date several days so that it wouldn't have to unload, hold, and reload everything, to which we agreed, as the driver was delayed. However, had we known that "packing" did not include disturbing our beds and bedding - in other words, we could have stayed in our home between "packing" and "loading" - we did have a VRBO we reserved, paid for and didn't use for several nights and were "out" about $1,000 for that. But had "packing" and "loading" been on the original schedule, it would have only been 1 night of unnecessary VRBO expense. The fellow who packed was efficient and thorough, though he used an enormous amount of packing paper that seemed really unnecessary. On the other hand, nothing was broken in the move except a Kenmore upright vacuum, which wasn't packed but was "loose" in the van, which no longer stands upright. Since it was heavy, my wife didn't want to go through the hassle of a claim, we just replaced it. The driver and his crew who loaded did an excellent job. Very professional, efficient, and personable. Equally so, the crew he engaged for unloading. They were careful to put everything where we wanted it to go and absolutely nothing was damaged in the process.\ Haven't moved in 20 years, and did much of the last one ourselves. So we really aren't in much of a position to evaluate the performance of this company versus other options. I'd just say an average but overall satisfactory job.
