One positive I failed to note in my original review is that they did provide 45 days of free storage opposed to standard 30 days. For these reasons, I'm increasing my rating from 1 to 3 stars. ___________________ During the sales and scheduling process, Bold Moving was wonderful. They were flexible and accommodating. They even said they would pack and move liquids if they were not "Flammable or combustible items (gasoline, kerosene, propane, etc.). Everything changed once they showed up. The packers were very nice but told us they could not pack any liquids. When I followed up with the salesperson they responded, "I thought it was only flammable liquids, but you could pack non flammables in a plastic bin not in cardboard boxes in case it leaks." The real challenge started when scheduling the delivery of our items after they were in storage for about 6 weeks. I emailed two weeks in advance asking for a specific delivery date. It was accepted as the first available delivery date, and I was told they would call the day before to confirm the delivery time. When I didn't receive that call, I followed up with them first via email then via phone. I was told they would put our stuff on a truck, and it would be delivered "sometime early next week" which was about 5 days later. It was clear they would not make the date requested but no one reached out to tell us. This was extremely frustrating since I had a business trip the following week. I followed up daily but could not get a confirmed delivery date. I canceled my business trip on a Monday when someone told me they would going to try and deliver our items that week. He was very clear that he would contact me when there was an update. Therefore, I stopped following up. On Wednesday, I received a phone call from the driver. They were 20 minutes away from the empty house I was not at. Due to the lack of communication in the delivery process, everything felt like a fire drill. I lost money on the business trip that had to be rescheduled and incurred additional costs extending our temporary housing. But, I was relieved to finally have our things. The delivery team was also nice, but many items were broken. The leg on one of our dressers was broken. They blamed the packers because the dresser was just wrapped with all the original items inside making it heavier. Some dressers were emptied but some were still full. I could here the contents of our nightstands rattling around inside. Although wardrobe boxes were used, none of our clothes were hung up - just thrown in the box with the hangers on them. Kitchen items were just thrown in boxes. Some of boxes weren't even properly labeled - just "K" for kitchen. Lastly, the delivery team left scuff marks all over the walls with deep dings in some places on the wall. This was my worst moving experience ever. I would never recommend Bold Moving & Storage.

More than just "climate control " which at our previous space, meant, your 4 walls and a roof overhead to keep out rain, sun, snow. Mini Price actually has Air Conditioning, which makes it much more comfortable when needing to run in for something or to store something away. It feels very secure. My only gripe, would be, they advertise a price on their website, but that price is the "this is where they get you" per our salesperson. You can expect a pretty low price for the first 2 months and then the price goes way up. Apparently this place caters to short term clients, and it is a bargain if you just need a month or two. That being said, the price still isn't bad once you factor in that it is new, clean, AC, secure, a team of professionals on site to assist if needed, and ease of use. Though we did not take advantage of it, they even have moving trucks for move-in use, only fee is mileage. When we went to check this place out, the units with the size space we were seeking were fully occupied, so we ended up with a larger space for not much more than we were paying at the previous place. For that, the value is pretty good. Overall, so far so good. I would definitely recommend Mini Price for your self storage needs.

We had to take some very narrow, rough back roads to get to my place -- ruts, tight shoulders, barely enough room for a car and a trailer side-by-side. I was nervous at first, but the driver handled it like a true professional. Not once did I feel like my belongings were at risk. Everything arrived in perfect condition, not a scratch, not a scuff, nothing loose. They worked hard, stayed polite the whole time, and treated my move like it actually mattered. It took a bit of trust because the shed was across town and I had to be at my house the day of the clean out, but it went very well. The office people had the nerve to tell me "the movers don't always know the policy" then why let someone represent your company make false promises IF THEY DON'T KNOW NOTHING. This is on top of being an hour late to the house we moved from, taking at least 3 breaks, and taking several pictures while inside our home for who knows what. Update: Rachel also likes to post as the company on facebook with the same lies as they continue to make. As I expressed there others should be concerned with going with a company that is not trustworthy or honest especially when it involves entering your personal space. Best to avoid. They may be the cheapest but you're definitely get the same customer service as the saying goes "you get what you pay for." Hire friends before them and don't even consider as a last resort.
