Waited to stop renting from this establishment so I didn't get retaliated on. I had walked in to meet with Ruth who is the manager there. I had my 3yr old son with me who she was giving an attitude towards. Kids are curious. He was looking out the window & touching the wall & she gave him an attitude. That pissed me tf off. I don't play with my child, especially when he is doing NOTHING wrong. So I started giving her an attitude back. She was so dramatic & acted like she doesn't have kids of her own. She had a cup of water on the table & he went to go look at it, not touch, LOOK. She immediately snatched it from the table & put her hand over it covering it. Calm tf down. He's not gonna do anything. I asked her if I was able to view the unit since I am a visual person, I needed to see if my items would fit inside. She stated she couldn't show it to me. I'm thinking wtf do you even work here for then. Immediately left due to her shitty, helpless attitude. Came back a few days later & was assisted by someone else who was of GREAT help. Mentioned my experience with Ruth & was then made aware she was the manager. It was mentioned to me not to get on her bad side in the case I needed her to close out my account, assistance with my storage, etc. Was also mentioned to me that she was talking shit about me to her subordinates. Since I mentioned my experience, the employee told me they heard about the situation because she brought it up to them. But didn't want to feed into the conversation so they ignored it. Very classy Ruth! How are you even the manager!? Probably due to seniority & a lot of ass kissing. Wish you treated clients the same way you do your management. The storage itself is not like in photos. Very old & scary. It's next to the trolley station so I was made aware of previous break ins & fights between other clients. Would not rent here ever again. I only needed to due to emergencies. I was heavily effected by January 2024 SD rain flood in which I lost everything including 3 vehicles, 2 motorcycles, & everything inside the residence I resided at for over 14yrs. Ruth knew this because I informed her. Was not empathetic to my situation. All she mentioned blatantly with no emotion was, "You can't have anything wet stored." I'm shocked this place has such positive reviews, I've had a unit there for 11 months and they've already raised the rate twice, and I'm now paying more than $150 MORE every month than I did when I signed my agreement last spring. Here's the breakdown: March 2023: opened storage unit for $283/mo June 2023: they increased rate to $382/mo ($100/mo increase!) March 2024: they're increasing rate again to $441/mo This is completely unaffordable - I'm paying over $5000/year for a small unit that fits less than a one bedroom apartment's worth of items. This company is a complete SCAM and I really wish I'd read a review like this before selecting them! read more

Just rented a unit here. The place seems nice. I dealt with Ruth today while I was there and another guy who helped me with a second unit. Both were super friendly and helpful. The building was clean. I think the only down side was that the facility was a little hard to find and it smells like septic or something but that was just outside. Inside the building was fine. The elevator jammed on us once but honestly I think it was that my local movers over packed it. Their rates seem reasonable. read more

We were nicely welcomed when walking in the door to check out the storage spaces and my dad and I had good conversations with the employee Noel, so thus we decided this was the place to store our items for a month or two. Check out the place because we had a good experience and I believe we would return if we need to store other items for a period of time. I'm writing this because I keep getting an email asking me too. So, it's a storage place! There's nothing very exciting about it lol the staff I had dealt with were OK. And my storage unit is working out great! I got lucky and got a unit very close to the gates. My only issue was NOT HAVING THE CORRECT GATE CODE AND NOT ABLE TO CONTACT ANYONE ON A SUNDAY!! I called customer service and it rang and rang and kept transferring me to a closed office. I finally got smart and called the phone number that was on a mini van parked in the parkinglot assuming it was the employees car, and got ahold of someone! Got a code, was able to move in. I'm giving 3 stars because I believe there should be someone I can call 24hrs. A day 7 days a week. Being completely closed on sunday to me, is not cool. I was so frustrated when my gate code didn't work and there was no one to call. read more

Customer service was good , management and condition of the storage units on the other hand was piss poor. I needed to find a last min storage unit. The company compromise profit for customer satisfaction so in other words ALL THE CARE ABOUT IS MONEY. The elevator is a joke and scary . My furniture barely fit. Units are in terrible condition for the price you will pay. Be ware if you like getting shorted for your money then this is the way to go. NOT ME! read more

After speaking with a representative on the phone about reserving a storage unit i stopped by in person to view the unit. I was then asked if i would like to go ahead and sign a contract to reserve the unit. At that moment i figured i wouldn't be paying but after filling out a lot of information regarding what i would be storing in the unit i was then asked for a form of payment. At that point i figured i had been there long enough giving them all of this personal information might as well just pay and finish up, so i did. Long story short i called 12 days later to inform them i no longer needed the storage unit and i let them know i never put anything in there nor put a lock on the unit and i would like a refund or at minimum a prorated refund for the remainder of the month. The manager told me they do not issue refunds because of how long i had the unit. I would not recommend this storage facility based on that policy alone. They need to make their process a little more clear prior to asking someone to fill out a long drawn out contract. read more
