Shopped around before we found this place. Prices were competitive but the other places I called seemed disorganized. Final analysis: 1) Excellent Staff (Phil) were patient and creative in helping us find a solution to our complicated situation: moving abroad and invoice going to my wife's employer). 2) Spotless facilities - seriously clean space 3) Climate Controlled units are seriously climate controlled. I've been in there during warmer and cooler times ... and have been up near the roof (i.e., at the top of the mad pile of stuff in the unit) -- consistently cool. these people are frauds and criminals.i rented a space in august 22.thught i was reserving a space online and went to fill out paperwork and get keys etc..the woman who checked me in instead rented me out another unit as well as the one i'd rented online.i never received notification that i had rented out 2 spaces and only found out when i checked a bank statement.i told the bank to reverse the charges as i was being double billed..extra space not only contested the charges but doubled my rent .i found this out when my bank acct got hacked.i was overbilled $738.00.they found the mistake and told me i had a refund coming since the woman who handled the paperwork was a fill in.its been over 2 months and i ve gotten nothing but lies and a run around about my refund..if i could give negative stars i would.theyve lied consistently and i'm looking for an agency to investigate them for fraud.. read more

Expect a hard sell when you call or visit--"we only have a few spaces left!," etc. And they usually won't let you reserve a unit. You have to start paying the day you set up the rental, full price. And yes, their prices increase on schedule, after 5 months and then after 9 months and so on. Different Extra Space Storage units operate differently, I've found. Some let you make a reservation a month in advance; some give you a month off or some other discount. This one offers nothing. read more

I rented a small unit to store college student dorm stuff over the summer. I called about 4 days prior and they reserved the unit for us, without requiring a downpayment, until I arrived from out-of-state on the weekend. Staff is very friendly, location and unit is very clean, rent is reasonable. I will rent from this location again next summer. read more

Do not recommend getting storage space here. It's very overpriced and the fees increase over time! Short of moving all of my stuff to another location (which I couldn't do because I was working overseas), I really felt stuck with each rate increase. Despite being very pricey, I did find the space to be adequate and secure. read more

i've never rented anything from here, but last winter i was driving home and my tire popped so i obviously pulled over, and this place just happened to be right next to me. i was sitting in the parking lot waiting for my boyfriend to come help me, the man comes out and asks what i'm doing. i told him what happened and he went somewhere in the back, brought back a jack to lift up my car, and then he realized he didn't have the right tools to help me put my spare on. so he then asks for my phone, and he looks up his business and rates them 5 stars, for doing absolutely nothing. and to make it better, he left my car up on that jack and went back inside to sit! he left me outside in the freezing cold with the car on two tires with the recommendation of not sitting in the car. so i obviously go wait inside the building, the lady was very nice, but he just ignored me the entire time. my boyfriend finally showed up, and took the car down and said he'd drive to right down the street to Gates, because that's where he works. the guy becomes rude and says that's not a good idea and then comes back and tries to take my tire off once again, failing again, and finally leaving us alone. i would rate him 5 stars for getting in my way and making everything more difficult. i wouldn't rate them 5 stars read more
