Apparently it was not being packaged properly in the first place. I could not file the claim myself because they shipped the package under there account. They filed two claims with FedEx which FedEx denied twice. This tells me both times the item was NOT PACKAGED PROPERLY which was there responsibility to do correctly in the first place. They are refusing to stand behind there improper packaging. I am now out over $700.00 because they failed to do the job I hired them to do. I do not and would not ever recommend this FedEx location to ever ship anything. This is not the way to do business. I paid twice for there mistake to my customer because it was the right thing to do. Twin Branch was also paid twice by me to do the job and did not do it correctly. They are refusing to compensate me for any of there wrong doing. I have reported them to the BBB and FedEx for this wrong doing. And will be reporting them to the Consumer Protection Agency also. I have been told this location has been sold so I hope the new owners have more respect for there customers.

WORSE COMPANY EVER!!!!! OVER PRICED, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER THE INITIAL CALL, NO RESPONSIBILITY. These are only a few of the things they damaged and after claiming they had 10,000 worth of insurance, they only paid 60.00 for the damage to a 450.00 dryer!

They were very quick to respond with any questions, the pricing was transparent and fair, and the three young men who did the move were polite, professional, and worked quickly. They also took great care to not damage any of our possessions and did a great job disassembling and reassembling our beds. It was a great experience overall and I highly recommend them if you're needing professional movers.

They did not disappoint. Ben and team were prompt and communicative from the very beginning. Although we hit a few scheduling snags, they stayed committed and got the job done. All of this without any damage as they ensured the walls and floors were protected. They ended up doing packing, hauling away trash and moving property all in one day! Moves can get complicated so it's good to have folks that can be relied upon and follow through with reasonable prices.

We called Aaron & he quoted 4 hours to move us from a 2 bedroom townhouse @ Williamsburg on the Lake to a 2 bedroom Villa we purchased in Blair Hills. Aaron did not come to the move & sent 3 young men to get the job done. They were supposed to show up @ 9am & didn't make it till 9:30am but charged us from 8:45am, first problem. Second problem they didn't bring any tools to take the beds etc apart? I left to go to the new place & they arrived in about 45 minutes because they had to leave the plank to unload at the townhouse because they left NO room on the truck? They unloaded the majority of the truck using the Tommy lift on the truck, more delays. Our furniture gained a lot of scratches in this move & shelving taken to the basement was placed in the middle of the basement & all of the items on the shelves were placed on the walls where the shelves were supposed to go even after telling ALL 3 of them shelves go on the SOUTH wall not the middle of the room. Their truck left lots of rusted pieces on our driveway for us to pickup from the Tommy lift & then charged us for 6 hours instead of 4 & still had the storage shed to move the next day. I left Aaron a voicemail on his phone to call me ASAP but didn't receive a call till the following week! The 3 man crew came back the next day & took 6 hours again to clean out & move a 10' x 15' storage shed! Aaron eventually called me back & credited us for 2 hours but overall we are not happy with this company plus NO booties worn on our freshly cleaned carpet as stated on other reviews shown here. Next time I'll wait till 2 men & a truck have time to move us in their quality trucks with quality staff.

Our move was in July 2021 from LA to Western NC It took nearly 6 weeks to receive our items. Then, we had to wire transfer additional thousands of dollars if ... "you want your stuff." And - to receive any money for lost (Several items) and destroyed items we were buried in paperwork that included gathering quotes to repair and original receipts.

Our move from the Bay Area to Atlanta with Rapid Van Lines in…read moreJuly 2021 was an absolute nightmare from start to finish, resulting in significant financial loss and emotional distress. It's taken me three years just to shed all that and be able to write this review. If I can save just one person from having to go through they pain that we did, it was well worth my time to write this. The movers were unprofessional and showed up late on both ends of the move. They were unprepared and didn't have enough packing supplies, forcing us to use our own blankets to protect our belongings. The packing process itself was incredibly slow, taking 19 hours to pack our small 890 sq. ft. apartment. They didn't finish until 3:28 AM, and the foreman ended up just picking a random cubic foot value for our belongings because he was tired and didn't want to calculate it properly. We had no other options because we were flying across the country the next day for our move, and I really felt cornered. This is a tactic they likely use with many of their customers, and you can see from the other reviews this isn't an isolated incident. Communication was nonexistent. We were only provided with a basic inventory list that didn't cover all of our items, and the driver informed us that our belongings were in storage in California. We were missing over $11,500 worth of items, including valuable electronics, irreplaceable family heirlooms, and my wife's entire wardrobe. The loss of these items has caused immense emotional distress and financial strain. To make matters worse, the company was unresponsive and unhelpful throughout the entire claims process. They offered us an insulting $156 settlement for our devastating losses, which we refused. It's been over a year, and we still haven't received any compensation for our losses. Thank God we had renter's insurance that covered the loss. Please, please, please make sure you keep your renter's insurance until you're all settled and can confirm that nothing has been lost, damaged, or completely neglected. I strongly advise anyone considering Rapid Van Lines to look elsewhere. Do your research, read reviews, and don't skimp on price because what you'll end up with is a company like this.Their incompetence, lack of professionalism, and blatant disregard for their customers' belongings make them an unreliable and untrustworthy choice for any move. Save yourself the stress, heartache, and potential for significant loss - choose a different moving company.
